I made a reservation under my name at Treasure Island - Las Vegas, but at the last minute, I fell ill and couldn't go. My wife, along with our granddaughter, was supposed to check in with me, but since Meda A Chiara is not listed on the Expedia account, she can't complete the payment to check in. She has the same Citi Visa card through Costco, but we haven't been able to reach anyone at Expedia to make the necessary changes. They're currently at the hotel waiting to check-in. David C.

I paid $[redacted] for a room that smells really bad and is dirty. There is a strong chemical smell that is giving me a headache. When I stayed here before, I was in the newer side of the building and had no problems. However, this time the whole building is dirty and run down. I wouldn't even pay $80 a night for this. I am extremely unhappy and will never use your services again since I can't contact anyone. Please call me at [redacted]. Tonight, I have to sleep outside on the balcony because I am very upset. We are staying at The Ridges in Hiawassee, Georgia, and it has been a terrible experience.

I made a reservation for Super 8 by Wyndham in Lakeland, TN through HOTELS.COM on 06/26/[redacted]. The booking was processed by EXPEDIA. Due to a power outage at my place and the hotel’s, I wasn't aware they were also without power. I found alternative accommodation and was charged $[redacted].62 for 2 non-existent rooms. After contacting the hotel, I was redirected to HOTELS.COM, then to EXPEDIA. The HOTELS.COM Itinerary number provided is [redacted][redacted], but it doesn't work for EXPEDIA. I seek a refund as my credit card was charged. Unfortunately, the card was compromised on the same day for a transaction in Miami, FL, forcing me to cancel it. Therefore, I won't be able to receive the refund on that card. I appreciate any assistance in resolving this.

Dear Days Inn Hotel, I am writing to share my disappointment with my recent room booking experience at your hotel and to request a refund due to the unsatisfactory conditions I encountered during my visit. Upon arrival on June 29th, I noticed a significant difference between the actual room condition and the representations on your website. The room did not meet the advertised standards, and the ongoing construction on the premises created additional disturbances, affecting my ability to have a peaceful stay. The construction noise and lack of cleanliness in the rooms further impacted my visit negatively. I believe it is reasonable to ask for a full refund considering these circumstances. I had to cancel my trip to Punta Cana due to a hurricane warning issued by the airline and hotel. Despite purchasing insurance and filing a claim, it was denied. I am unable to utilize the travel vouchers and it appears more cost-effective to book a package deal. I would like a refund issued to my credit card.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing regarding my recent rental car booking through Expedia at Nice airport, with confirmation number #[redacted] and itinerary [redacted][redacted]. Upon arrival on June 8, [redacted], I was informed by a Europcar representative that the car I reserved through Expedia was unavailable and was offered a different vehicle instead. Despite my insistence on receiving the car I booked, Europcar stated that they could not fulfill the original reservation and assured me that the price and conditions would remain the same. To my surprise, Europcar charged my American Express card $[redacted].51, more than double the agreed-upon price of $[redacted].84. I did not request an upgrade and expect Expedia to intervene and uphold the original agreement. I attempted to purchase a flight, but encountered an issue where the price increased at checkout, leaving me unsure if I was charged for the initial purchase. Unfortunately, I did not receive a confirmation email with the itinerary number needed for contacting customer service. Despite the missing email, I was charged for the flights, and now find that one leg of the journey has been cancelled with no refund processed yet. I have made several attempts to reach Expedia without success to address these concerns.

Upon arrival at the hotel, the clerk mentioned I couldn't have my service animal and needed a $[redacted] deposit. Despite my phone being low on battery, he didn't let me access the room until I paid. Eventually, he assigned me a room near the pool and lots of people, which was not ideal for my PTSD. The room was unkempt with drugs, underwear, and a marijuana smell. Missing drawers, disheveled sheets, and both ice machines unplugged added to the issues. I am still onsite and urgently request a call to arrange a transfer to a nearby hotel like Wingate or La Quinta on Primacy Parkway. A refund is necessary for transportation. I made an online reservation through your website for a room that indicated it could accommodate 5 people. However, upon arrival at the hotel with my family, we were provided a room with only 2 queen beds, allowing for 4 people to sleep without a couch. This contradicted what we saw on the website regarding accommodation for 5 people. Upon inquiring with the manager, we were informed that the rooms were suitable for a maximum of 4 individuals. Hello, during my recent trip, I noticed a small hole in the left back light of the rental car when I arrived at my destination. I suspect it might have been caused by a rock on the highway, as I didn't notice it until then. I am in the process of filing a claim, but I haven't received a copy of the rental agency report yet. They mentioned it would be sent by mail within 2 months. Can I still make a claim after this time period? After returning the car, I was charged an extra $[redacted] in addition to the $[redacted] security deposit. I am feeling overwhelmed and would appreciate speaking with someone about this.

I booked a stay at the Best Western Otanobee Inn in Ontario, Canada for July 7th and 8th via Expedia. Best Western confirmed the reservation and gave me the confirmation number [redacted]00. Unfortunately, Expedia cannot locate this booking nor the last 4 digits of my credit card. I would like to cancel this reservation. Hi Expedia, I wanted to share a frustrating experience we had today at Madrid airport with Record car rentals. Despite being ready for the deposit and necessary insurance fees, we were unable to rent a car for cross-border travel, which was unexpected. We had made prepayments and researched the rules via Expedia, with a full month-long European trip already planned. We value our relationship with Expedia and its reliable car rentals for our seven past European trips, so discovering this issue was disappointing. Record apologized and advised us to contact you for a refund due to these unforeseen circumstances. We tried to secure a car through Hertz at the airport, but the wait time didn't fit our tight schedule, forcing us to cancel. I am Michael Kwasnowski and I want to dispute a charge of $[redacted].37 on 06/23/23. The charge was made in error. When I tried to make a reservation on your site for 06/23/23, I noticed the dates were changed on the confirmation unexpectedly. Even though I made another reservation for the correct date 06/23/23 for $[redacted].45, I am not disputing this charge. I have started a chargeback with American Express for the $[redacted].37 charge. Unfortunately, the customer service representative I spoke to was unhelpful. I made travel arrangements through Expedia with the itinerary number Expedia itinerary: [redacted][redacted]. Our return flight on United was canceled due to hazardous weather. Subsequently, our rebooked United flight was also canceled. After contacting United, they rescheduled our return flight with American Airlines at no additional charge. Since we didn't purchase a protection plan, I'm wondering if Expedia offers any reimbursement or insurance coverage for situations like this?

Upon arrival at 3 Palms Hotel, I was surprised to learn they do not accept Cash App cards for deposits, despite my Visa card having the required funds. It was not mentioned during booking that Cash App cards are not accepted for incidentals. Since I was unable to pay for incidentals, I regrettably could not stay and am seeking a full refund. Additionally, I did not receive the expected email with my itinerary number.

This morning, I received a text message from Expedia on my mobile phone for Karla Sousa about a hotel reservation in CA. I suspect she could be an identity thief. Recently, I got a call from CFNA about a credit inquiry for tires I didn't make. Now, with the Expedia text, I'm worried Karla Sousa may be using my info for fraudulent purchases. I reported the tire incident to the FTC and plan to report this too, even though I know they don't handle individual cases. I spoke to an Experian rep who suggested a CA lawyer, but I'm in PA and don't see how that would help. Expedia hasn't been helpful either. I did not make any reservation through them and won't be responsible for any bills. I'm looking for assistance to resolve this situation promptly.

I provided detailed information above about my issue, but the response I received indicates that I am expected to resolve the problem myself. I am facing difficulties with Expedia because I lack all the necessary reservation details, as it was made without my consent or knowledge. Although the FTC acknowledged my complaint, it seems to be merely on record without offering practical assistance. I have taken the step to freeze my accounts with the three credit bureaus, but it feels like a futile measure after the damage is done. Given my location in PA and the situation in CA, it seems challenging to find a resolution. I had high hopes for GetHuman, but it appears to be primarily a platform for sharing rather than offering direct customer support.

My 16-year-old daughter rented a car through your company for our trip. We were denied the car because she was not 25, and the card used for payment was not in my name, even though I was going to be the one driving. After contacting your team, she was informed that we could not get a refund as we were late to pick up the car, which was not accurate. We arrived at the airport half an hour to an hour early but were still denied the rental due to the cardholder name discrepancy. Consequently, I had to pay an additional $[redacted] to rent another car on the spot. Unfortunately, we were not reimbursed for my daughter's rental. This experience left us dissatisfied with the service.
