I would like to purchase a used car, and I checked my other two credit reports. Equifax required me to submit a written request, which I promptly did. Subsequently, when the credit union attempted to access my credit, a fraud alert was present without a phone number for permission. I informed the other credit agencies about this issue, and they advised that they are required by law to notify Equifax within 24-48 hours. Despite allowing more than 48 hours to pass, Equifax still did not have the necessary phone number on file as assured by TransUnion and Experian. This delay from Equifax is hindering my car purchase, and I am missing out on a great deal. Moreover, I do not want this unnecessary fraud alert on my reports, as it is causing more harm than protection. Kindly assist me promptly in resolving this matter.

My wife and I shared this account. Equifax removed it from her report two weeks ago. When I inquired about having it removed from mine, they said I needed to file a dispute, which could take 30 days. However, we are currently refinancing our home, and the underwriting process requires the removal of this negative item. The date of last activity on the account is listed as 7/09, but the correct date should be the last payment made in 5/09. If there is any way to expedite this process, it would be greatly appreciated.

I recently had a judgment made against me in small claims court, and I have been informed that this could negatively impact my credit score. My insurance provider will cover the judgment before it becomes official in 30 days. I am unsure if my credit score will improve once the judgment is paid off. This will determine whether I should proceed with an appeal. If my credit score will remain affected even after payment, I will pursue an appeal. However, if settling the judgment will positively impact my credit rating, I will refrain from appealing.

I've discovered fraudulent activity in my bank account and Bealls Credit Card. I've reported it to both the bank and Bealls, and they advised me to contact Equifax to safeguard my credit. A previous contact from Equifax abruptly ended the call, leaving me concerned. I'm seeking guidance on further steps to protect my accounts and credit.

I recently received a letter from Chase requesting additional financial information, which I promptly provided. To my surprise, I was informed that my monthly credit obligations were supposedly $8,[redacted].90, which seemed outrageously high. After investigating, I learned that this incorrect information was sourced from Equifax, specifically regarding a $[redacted],[redacted] line of credit I have with UmB bank. I want to clarify that this credit is secured by over two million in stock, and my actual monthly interest payment is around $[redacted], not $8,[redacted].90.

I encountered an issue while trying to create a "my Social Security" account online. After entering personal and security information, I faced a problem with the questions on the following pages. All questions had answers that were "none of the above." One question was grammatically incorrect, asking, "Ön which of the following streets have you never lived?" None of the options applied to me as I haven't lived on any of those streets, but the "None of the above" answer seemed confusing due to the double negative implication. This led to my account being locked as my answers didn't match the data on file. I hope to resolve this to avoid the inconvenience of traveling to access information or waiting endlessly on the phone just to be directed to Equifax. Can anyone provide guidance on how to address this issue?

When I tried to access my free annual credit report online, I faced some multiple-choice questions to confirm my identity. However, many questions didn't pertain to me or had no accurate answer, leading me to choose "None of the above".
It's unclear if my responses were deemed incorrect or if the online system is limited due to security reasons. Consequently, I received a message stating they were unable to provide my credit report online and instructed me to send a request by mail with proof of identification.

I encountered challenges verifying my identity over the phone. I lack details about previous accounts as I haven't used store cards or applied for one recently. I'm trying to identify two charges on my credit report related to the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America (NACA). The reports simply mention MEDICAL, but I'm unable to determine the source that reported them to a credit agency. Both were sent to collections on 11/1/[redacted]. I have never faced such difficulties confirming my identity with any other credit institution, making this a frustrating experience. I am seeking clear guidelines on what is required to obtain more information on resolving these items on my credit report.

Someone has been using my email address to receive payment from a restaurant where they falsely claimed I worked. They have gone as far as opening accounts using my information to work in a hospital in Chicago. I fear for the safety of my son and myself because they may be monitoring us. They have used my social security number to work in various places like a bus driver in a school, human services, and the social security office in Chicago. They even opened an account at Chase Bank and bought a Kia car in [redacted] under my name. They purchased a house near Midway Airport using my credit. This situation is alarming, and I need help to stop these individuals from committing fraud and scams in my name.

I contacted Equifax to freeze my credit report using their 1-[redacted] number. After providing my information, I received a long pin from the automated system, which I missed, as it was not repeated and the call ended. Concerned, I reached out to the Get Human number, and was informed of a 20-minute hold time for a live representative. I opted for a call back.
When Trusted ID contacted me, I had to reiterate my details. After being placed on hold and informed of system issues, I requested a call back when it was resolved, which was declined. Due to the representative's thick accent, we had communication challenges, leading to frustration on both ends before the call was abruptly ended. I hope for a smoother process next time, including receiving a pin via email or call for future credit access needs.

Hello. I noticed in June that my Equifax Score dropped by about 35 points when I checked my credit karma account. After investigating, I discovered that an account belonging to my former husband (with 94 percent usage) is listed on MY credit report! I have contacted Alliant Credit Union twice about this matter. They assured me that my name is no longer on the account as an authorized user, but the issue remains on my credit karma account. Despite being divorced for a couple of years, this account appeared on MY credit report a few months ago, negatively affecting my credit score. I want this removed promptly. I have diligently worked on rebuilding my credit since our divorce and do not want to be accountable for his spending. Please review and provide guidance. Thank you.

I was pre-approved for a loan today, and the requirements indicated that the only document they needed from me was my [redacted] tax return. Due to experiencing illness throughout [redacted], I relied on my family and savings. I contacted them to inquire about the possibility of being denied for not having a [redacted] tax return, as I could only provide the previous year's. A woman informed me over the phone that I cannot be approved without the [redacted] tax return. I have worked diligently to enhance my credit score and am frustrated to receive a hard inquiry on my report. I was prequalified and recommended the loan on Credit Karma, now running a successful business. I wish to dispute this unjust hard inquiry. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Raven D.

To Whom It May Concern,
I am Demetrius J. Gandy and I would like to dispute a discrepancy on my credit report. My confirmation number is [redacted], and my last day at [redacted] Ponds Court, Shelby Township, was December 31, [redacted], as per PCS order relocating me to Germany. Despite changing addresses, I did not receive any bills at my old or new address at CMR [redacted] BOX [redacted] APO AE [redacted]. I only learned about the bill through Credit Karma Alerts and promptly paid Shelby Urgent Care Clinic (receipt available). I kindly request the removal of this from my credit report. Additionally, I confirmed my name's correct spelling as Demetrius J. Gandy, matching my driver's license and SSN card. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently provided my home number instead of my cell by mistake in my previous email to you. Unfortunately, you texted the wrong number as my home phone doesn't accept text messages. I need to lift the credit freeze permanently as I am relocating soon. Unfortunately, I misplaced the letter containing the pin number required for this process. Contacting [redacted] didn't help as it requires the pin, and there are no options to speak with a representative. The online option to retrieve my pin in a PDF format was unsuccessful as all the numbers were X'ed out. While Transunion and Experian were prompt and helpful in lifting the freeze, your system has proven to be difficult to navigate. I am unsure of my next steps as writing may not yield results without the pin, and my situation is time-sensitive. Please assist me promptly.

I have encountered multiple fraudulent attempts on my account that I need to report. These are the incidents I am currently aware of, but there may be additional unauthorized activities. In response, I have taken the necessary steps to close the account associated with all four occurrences. The attempts involved:
1. Unauthorized attempt to open a new credit card account with PayPal.
2. Suspicious activity on American Express Money Market Savings Account #1.
3. Suspicious activity on American Express Money Market Savings Account #2.
4. Unauthorized transactions on my Capital One Credit Card payment (two transactions). I am seeking assistance from a customer service representative and not an automated system to address this issue promptly. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - Cherie D.

I recently discovered discrepancies on my credit report regarding three credit cards with high balances, which were all interest-free. Despite paying them off on August 10th, PNC Bank falsely claimed I hadn't paid my bill, hindering my ability to apply for a Marriott credit card through Chase Bank. I have always been diligent with bill payments, but your inaccurate information has now affected my creditworthiness. Following the death of my wife and dealing with personal loss, I am deeply unsettled by your mistakes. I have consulted with a lawyer at Nelson and Owens, and we are prepared to take legal action unless this issue is resolved promptly. It is essential for you to rectify this error and conduct a thorough investigation before damaging someone's credit history unjustly. I have already spoken with a CEO in Pittsburgh, who confirmed the discrepancy was not on their end. My name is Ruel S. Stancill, and I am extremely dissatisfied with the damage to my credit caused by your inaccurate reporting.

I am experiencing issues with the security questions on my credit report. Despite never having had loans, student loans, retail store cards, or credit cards, the questions on Experian's report do not match my history. I have placed a fraud alert for 90 days. I have denied all these types of credit, and I find it concerning that someone may be using my information to apply for credit. The questions about student loans, retail cards, and various loans are incorrect. I have a few car loans on record from [redacted] and before, and I rent instead of owning a home. The questions asked by Experian do not align with my credit history at all. I need assistance with obtaining my Equifax report and ensuring the questions pertain to my actual credit history, as I have not had the items mentioned in the verification process. Thank you for your help.

It's been over six weeks since I submitted my identity documents, including a valid driver's license, Social Security card, and proof of address. However, as of last Monday, I have not received the report. I am eager to understand the reason for this delay.
