I contacted Craigslist for assistance regarding an item listed on the site. The seller proposed using eBay Motors for the transaction. Despite reaching out to Craigslist customer service three times, the representatives did not grasp our queries due to language barriers. Even after multiple attempts to clarify our concerns, we struggled to comprehend their responses. Regrettably, this rendered contacting customer service unproductive and time-consuming.

I have discovered that a check I received is a fraudulent counterfeit check that was supposedly from Douglas J. Lippert, an unauthorized individual at Central Laborers' Welfare Fund. The check, written for $2,[redacted].55, was for an item I listed in Atlanta, GA, priced at $1,[redacted]. I was told to withhold $1,[redacted] and return the rest. The check was not cashed. The sender, Bruce Michael from Cathedral City, CA, used the phone number [redacted]. Please take action against this person to prevent further scams. Thanks, John D. Jones, Alpharetta, GA.

I am facing two separate issues. The first problem is that I posted an ad without specifying the city or state, listed under a general category. However, I came across another advertisement with the same description, category, and price, but this ad includes complete information and a map. I am puzzled about how my ad can compete under such circumstances on the CL website. I am uncertain if either of my ads was ever published. Attempting to reach a live person has been futile, and I have noticed comments mentioning the unavailability of a direct phone number. Resolving this matter is urgent as my internet service will be terminated on July 25, [redacted].
The sudden disappearance of about 8 paragraphs amid multiple computer issues has left me at a disadvantage. I have encountered several challenges while using the website, which is quite frustrating. It seems that a duplicate ad, with all the necessary details including a map, has been posted, lacking only the location information. I am seeking clarity on this situation.

I am experiencing issues posting a job wanted ad on the resumes section of Craigslist. Despite following all posting guidelines, my ad keeps getting flagged and deleted. I am frustrated because other users seem to be able to post multiple ads without issues. I would like to request permission to post my ad and repost it after 72 hours. The associated email is [redacted], the account name is David Green, and the phone number is [redacted]. This is specific to the Tucson, Arizona Craigslist. I hope you can review this matter as I am struggling to find a job and this situation is hindering my efforts.

The information provided regarding a [redacted] Prius purchased with incorrect odometer reading and salvage title unknowingly issued turned out to be a fraudulent transaction. After discovering discrepancies with the vehicle's history through Carfax, unforeseen repair costs totaling $[redacted] and $[redacted] in total expenses were incurred. The seller, located on Tennessee Avenue in Vallejo, seemingly orchestrated a scheme involving multiple individuals. Despite attempts to reach out, the seller disappeared, and the listing was promptly closed. An elderly gentleman's pink slip from Fairfield was improperly used in the transaction. Immediate action is requested, as previous attempts to address the situation have been ineffective. Urgency is emphasized, as online platforms like OfferUp may surpass Craigslist due to such fraudulent activities.

I would like to address today's SF Politics Post Number [redacted], where I discussed the use of inappropriate language by some conservatives who seem to forget their political background in discipline and respect.
Furthermore, I want to bring attention to post Number [redacted] that was posted by a right winger containing offensive language like "piss ON a Lib." I find it unacceptable that my respectful post (without any violations of rules) was removed before it was even shown, while the post promoting such behavior remains visible.
This action seems illogical and unjustifiable. I am seeking clarification on why this discrepancy occurred. Could there be biased flaggers involved? I am eager to receive a response and will happily share it with the community for transparency.

I fell victim to a scam relating to a house in Clark County, Washington. I responded to an ad from a person claiming to be Sean B Korten for a property located at [redacted] S Lieser Rd, Vancouver, WA [redacted] on June 23rd. We exchanged several emails regarding the rental, and I sent him $[redacted] through a money order that was deposited into a Chase account. After confronting him about this, he mentioned he would refund the money but needed Craigslist verification codes. I provided him with what I thought were legitimate codes: [redacted] and [redacted]. He explained that this was necessary due to money changing hands. Despite having all the required information, I've been unable to make any progress with MoneyGram or the bank where I deposited the funds because I am not the account holder. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing ongoing harassment from an individual who is upset about not receiving a job offer from the company I work for. Despite my attempts to deter him, he has escalated his actions by sending me pictures of my home and targeting my ex-husband. This situation has left me extremely frightened, especially with children living in the same residence. I am reaching out for urgent assistance regarding this matter. The reference ID for one of the incidents is [redacted][redacted]. Please contact me at [redacted], and leave a detailed message with immediate call-back information, as I am unable to answer unfamiliar numbers due to the seriousness of the situation. I am disappointed in Craigslist due to my recent experiences as a new seller. Despite following their tips for avoiding scams, I posted 4 common items over 2 weeks and received 7 scam offers via text. This contradicted the assurance from Craigslist that only 1 in 10 transactions turn bad. Buyers were uninterested in viewing the items and wanted to pay with bank checks or money orders. I put effort into cleaning, photographing, and describing the items, but it was all in vain. I trusted Craigslist for its reputation for honesty and integrity, but my experience has shattered that trust. I feel Craigslist should take more responsibility in vetting buyers to ensure legitimacy. This situation has been frustrating and disappointing, leading me to consider other platforms like Amazon or Bonanza. The lack of transparency and integrity among some Craigslist buyers is disheartening, and Craigslist must address this issue to maintain a positive environment for all users.

I am astonished to come across a listing for a $[redacted],[redacted] house being offered for rent at $[redacted] in Seattle. Upon expressing interest, I received an email from Halabi Tanas describing their sudden move to Missouri due to a job promotion. They mentioned their involvement with humanitarian aid and expressed a desire to rent the property on a month-to-month basis, open to potential lease-to-own options. Their decision to manage the rental personally was due to a Realtor setting high rates. They emphasized affordability and flexibility in payment options, presenting themselves as new to the rental process. Despite lacking experience, they encouraged me to consider the property for its suitability for families and urged me to explore the opportunity.

I came across two unbelievably low-priced cargo trailers on Craigslist Chicago, one for a race car and the other for a motorcycle. The sellers, "Sarah Peterson" and "Keith J Oneal," both claimed to be selling because they were deploying overseas with the U.S. military medical team and needed to sell quickly. Both listings were priced at $1,[redacted], which triggered my suspicion.
I tried to contact them through texts and emails, but their responses were delayed. When I asked to see the trailers in person, they redirected me to a website for more photos and insisted on using their payment method for a guaranteed delivery. I offered to pay in cash, but they were adamant about their payment arrangement.
I believe this is a suspected scam or fraud. I urge caution to anyone considering these listings.

I am reaching out to address a fraudulent real estate rental listing for a property in Hamilton, Ontario on Craigslist that needs to be removed promptly.
The Hamilton Police Services Incident Report number is [redacted]1.
I am the homeowner, Ron Rubin, and I can confirm that the house is not for rent despite the false ad claiming it is a "3bed/2bath perfect family-friendly [redacted]-square-foot executive home."
The ad was reported by vigilant neighbors and also brought to the attention of Judy Marsales Real Estate, the sales listing agents.
It is essential to act swiftly to prevent innocent individuals from falling victim to a fake rental deposit scam, which is particularly concerning to me following a recent theft of small items from my front porch.
I would appreciate being informed promptly of the steps taken to address this issue.
Thank you for your assistance and support.

Yesterday, my Craigslist rental ad was maliciously altered. A person claiming to be a preacher was misleading individuals to our property in Sebastopol, California, promising keys in exchange for $[redacted] in Rohnert Park. Our rent was advertised at $[redacted], but the altered ad showed $[redacted]. False information about allowing pets, wheelchair accessibility, and other details caused confusion. We received calls from visitors at our farmhouse due to this misleading ad. Despite flagging the ad and attempting to address the issue with Craigslist earlier, the problem persists. I even have the preacher's phone number, who supposedly plans to relocate to Africa. It seems like another Craigslist user had a similar encounter with a preacher. I am concerned about the unsettling situation with strangers trespassing on our property and the deception towards potential renters interested in our 3-4 bedroom home. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

I am having trouble resetting my password for my Craigslist account linked to the email address [redacted] Despite following the steps to reset the password, I am not receiving the email confirmation. I checked my spam folder, but it's not there. I contacted Yahoo support, and they mentioned that the email from Craigslist might be blocked. Can you please look into this and unblock the email?
Thank you,

Beware of a scam involving Craigslist car and truck sales in San Diego. The scam advertises vehicles at incredibly low prices, prompting you to contact a local phone number. Upon reaching out, you're directed to email a Gmail account. The response typically involves a fabricated story about being in the service and about to be deployed, offering to ship the vehicle via eBay Motors. The scammer claims that eBay will provide instructions for payment, assuring you have five days to inspect the vehicle before funds are released.
Having encountered multiple fraudulent responses to car inquiries on Craigslist in San Diego, it's essential to remain cautious. Although I reported this to eBay customer service, they acknowledged the scam but stated their inability to intervene as they are not associated with it. Stay vigilant. Manorath Morrison

I have been experiencing issues with a person named Mr. Anthony Ivan Vera from Orlando, Florida, who has been causing problems on Craigslist and falsely claiming that criminal charges will be filed against me. I have a restraining order against Mr. Vera in Orlando court (Case: 48-2[redacted]05-O). Despite this, I have experienced my ads being flagged constantly on the site. I am seeking clarity from the court regarding this situation to identify who is accountable for these false claims. If more details are required, please reach out to me.

I reside in Reno, Nevada. Around three springs ago, I purchased a black and white [redacted] Suzuki GSXR [redacted] from a gentleman via Craigslist. Unfortunately, I no longer have his contact details. Recently, a Reno motorcycle shop caused significant damage to my bike. I am considering seeking legal advice. I am hoping to reconnect with the seller to obtain a copy of the original post or his contact information. This is to identify all the aftermarket parts he installed on the motorcycle. The bike was priced at $[redacted]. If anyone can assist me in reaching out to him, I would be grateful. The situation with the motorcycle shop has put me in a difficult position, and I am eager to track down the seller for information. Thank you for any help you can provide.

I have been receiving unexpected phone calls starting early Monday morning at 3am. One of the individuals who contacted me mentioned they saw an advertisement about me on Craigslist (CL). Unfamiliar with CL, I deleted most messages and numbers out of fear. A sender shared a screenshot, leading me to discover a post containing four of my Facebook photos and an explicit description suggesting I was seeking casual encounters. Fortunately, the post was eventually removed after being flagged multiple times. I am now eager to identify the individual behind this false ad due to safety concerns, especially considering I have faced threats from a coworker's abusive partner. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. For reference, the post ID number is [redacted].

Hello, I am a frustrated customer. I am upset because you removed my CBD ad. It was up for 5 days. There are other ads here selling weed, kush, and even cocaine, which makes me even angrier because my CBD products are legal! Please understand that my products contain 0.03% THC and 10% CBD, making them legal. I kindly request you to repost my ad. Otherwise, I may have to take action. Thank you.
