I was deeply offended by the coverage of The Trump Store, where the reporter failed to address the presence of Confederate flag items. Instead, she interviewed a white female who spoke negatively about Democrats in front of these flags. The reporter, identified as Ellie Reed, missed the opportunity to question the store's message concerning racial harmony. By showcasing Confederate flags on Trump merchandise, CNN inadvertently supported bigotry and the Trump administration. It was a letdown to see the biased questioning of both the owner and customers in the segment. The repeated airing of clips with similarly racist undertones only further promotes Trump's divisive agenda.
