On January 16th, at approximately 2:30 PM, I encountered a Biffa lorry with registration number VA19 KNP while waiting at temporary traffic lights. The lorry unexpectedly began reversing and then abruptly repositioned itself, causing me to reverse suddenly to avoid a collision. In the process, I grazed the car behind me. The driver of the car kindly let me go without exchanging information, acknowledging that the incident was not my fault. I had three passengers in my vehicle who witnessed the event and corroborated my account. Despite minor damage to the other car, my bumper was significantly damaged. I followed the lorry back to its depot, where I spoke with a colleague who mentioned that they were unaware of my presence behind them. When I confronted the driver, he was uncooperative and denied any responsibility for the unsafe maneuver he made. I am requesting that the company review the footage from the vehicle camera to assess the situation and consider contributing towards the £[redacted]-£[redacted] needed for repairs to my car.

I reside on Bankville Road in Wirral with the postcode CH42 6PL. On Wednesday, March 25th in the afternoon, a Biffa waste collection truck faced difficulty maneuvering on my street, requiring multiple attempts before reversing down the road. While observing from my window, I initially thought there was no harm to my vehicle. Later inspection revealed damage to the paintwork over the rear wheel on the passenger side. The damage extends to the metal and cannot be buffed out. I have captured photos of the incident. Despite my attempts to contact Biffa by phone proving unsuccessful, I recall two of the plate letters may have been XN. This incident occurred after our recycling had been collected, and this larger Biffa vehicle struggled on our road, unlike the usual collections. I am hopeful for a response from you regarding this matter.
