I am in the process of organizing a Halloween-themed bridal shower. As part of the game prizes, I planned to create gift bags containing PocketBacs and hand soap in the scent "Vampire Blood." Despite your advertised one-day sale of 5 PocketBacs for $5, I visited two stores without finding any Vampire Blood scent available. I noticed this is a popular item, so I was surprised by the lack of stock. Additionally, when attempting to purchase online, I discovered that individual Vampire Blood PocketBacs were not available for purchase. This situation is frustrating, especially considering a recent online order for non-Halloween items that initially showed as shipped, then had two items canceled. I am also unsure if the refund for those items was processed. The unavailability of the Vampire Blood product both in-store and online is not up to the regular standards I expect from Bath and Body Works.

I recently tried to use a reward code for a free item up to $16, but it wasn't applied to my order at checkout. I might have mistakenly clicked "update bag," which could be the reason for the issue. I kindly request the $16 to be deducted from my total as my credit card has been processed and the order is already completed. The order was placed just five minutes ago.

I purchased a plug-in that started leaking, and when I contacted the store, they initially agreed to exchange it without a receipt as per their policy. However, when I went to swap it today, they refused to provide a full refund, citing that it was too late. The assistant manager, not the main manager, was impolite, claiming they couldn't restock a used item, although I insisted it was defective due to leaking. She then mentioned a new policy from a week ago that contradicted what I was told on the phone about the no-receipt exchange. They didn't have the replacement plug-in I wanted, stating a 90-day policy I apparently fell short of due to my two-month-old call. Despite being a long-time customer, I only received a $1.88 credit for a $25 purchase, which I found disappointing and felt the customer service was subpar. I believe I should be reimbursed for the full amount.

I typically don’t leave reviews, but after a disappointing experience at Bath and Body Works in Valley Fair Mall, West Valley, Utah, I wanted to share. A staff member subtly checked my mom’s purse and questioned us about our purchase, implying we might be stealing. Unlike other locations, we were asked for a receipt for an exchange, even though we didn’t have it. This never happened to me before in other stores. I’m left puzzled and hope the store addresses this behavior. As an HR professional, I can't ignore such treatment over a simple return. I wonder if this new receipt policy is true and request staff conduct be reviewed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I'm having trouble accessing the website as it seems to be stuck on the candle special that started at 8 pm last night. I'm unable to browse other items since the regular website is not loading. I tried calling earlier today for 45 minutes with no success, so I eventually gave up. This situation is extremely frustrating. The men's care sale for $5.95 was supposed to run until 6 am this morning, but due to the website issue, I couldn't place an order. Customer service wouldn't honor the price either.

I made a purchase on Black Friday intending to give the gifts as Christmas presents. Unfortunately, the items were sent to the wrong address twice. I am disappointed with the experience as I would have preferred the option to pick up the items in-store rather than receiving a refund. Particularly, I was looking forward to receiving the foam hand soaps as I greatly enjoy the products. Despite the issue, I still appreciate the quality of the items. I thought it would be helpful to share my feedback with you for future orders.

On Black Friday, I bought some foam soap products that I was excited about. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the shipping address. Despite the mistake, I was disappointed that my Christmas gifts were affected. Instead of getting the items I ordered, they refunded me. I really wanted the products, so I was hoping I could visit the store to pick them up. This experience was frustrating since I had planned to give these items as Christmas gifts. I hope the company can avoid situations like this in the future to prevent customers from being upset, especially when they love the products.

I purchased one of your gift boxes containing 15 items like perfumes, lotions, and shower gels on December 9. Yesterday, I received two gift boxes but nothing else. After checking my account today, I saw a refund for the perfumes, lotions, and shower gels, followed by a charge for an additional gift box I did not request. I only wanted one box and the rest of my items. I hope to receive the remaining items at the sale price I originally paid. Being charged for an unwanted gift box is frustrating, and I would appreciate a refund for that as well.

I had an unpleasant experience at the Bath and Body Works store in Daly City. On Saturday, 12/11, I attempted to return two items with a receipt for a refund or exchange. The young cashier rang up my purchase, but then a lady, claiming to be the store manager, intervened. She rudely informed me that the store had a new policy and refused to process my return, citing that the items had been used too much. Despite my insistence that the items were in like-new condition with the barcode and a copy of the receipt showing a [redacted]% guarantee, she remained unhelpful and even mentioned a social media policy change. I felt embarrassed and confused by her behavior. She identified herself as Amita, cashier #[redacted]. I seek clarification on the return policy and a resolution to either exchange my items or receive a refund.

I placed an order during the candle sale with the expectation that it would arrive before Christmas. However, I recently received an email stating that my order will be delivered after the holiday. Many of the candles were intended as Christmas gifts, so this delay is disappointing. The offer of additional candles at a discount does not compensate for the fact that I won't have the gifts in time for Christmas. I am very disappointed with this situation.

I wanted to bring to your attention a concerning situation I experienced recently. Following my last two purchases from Bath and Body, I received suspicious phone calls from someone claiming to be from PayPal inquiring about high-value transactions. Despite not disclosing any credit card details, only confirming my name and address, my bank advised canceling both my debit and credit cards for safety reasons. I typically avoid ordering from your company online due to the shipping fees, and I generally do not utilize PayPal for online transactions.

I recently bought a Wallflower plug-in air freshener with a night light. Upon returning home, I placed the product on a table near the outlet. Due to the lack of clear warnings, the product accidentally leaked, causing damage to my table and carpet. The harmful chemicals in the product should have better packaging to prevent such spills. Without proper handling instructions, this product poses risks to users. I urge the company to enhance safety warnings on the product and educate store staff about potential hazards. I recently purchased some men's products which I am satisfied with. However, the package was delivered with the box open at the bottom due to a leaking bottle spray. Unfortunately, the bottle of Rosewood & Smoke fragrance was damaged during transit, causing the liquid to leak out. I have pictures available if required. I frequently encounter problems with every order I place at Bath and Body Works. I enter my address details, save a screenshot for verification, receive an email with the correct address, but then they consistently send incomplete address information to UPS. This forces me to cancel the order and risk another shipment delay. When seeking assistance, no one can rectify the information or address customer complaints. This ongoing issue is frustrating as a loyal customer who has spent a significant amount of money at Bath and Body Works.

I really adore your store. As a single mother working with five kids, my children and I have been loyal customers for years. We love your sprays and candles, but unfortunately, we've had multiple issues with the body sprays breaking at the top, making them unusable. This has been a common problem among my friends and family as well. Even some of the wallflowers I purchased ended up leaking. It's disheartening when products we save up for go to waste. Please improve the packaging of your items so that customers like us can enjoy them without any issues. Thank you.

I contacted customer service regarding a promotion for a buy one, get one candle sale. However, when I added candles to my cart, the discount applied was only 25% off instead of the expected deal. I also had a code for a free candle and free shipping, but using them removed the 25% discount. I preferred shopping online as some candles I wanted were not available in-store. I assumed I could use both coupons if I had gone in-person, but that wouldn't guarantee I could find all the candles I desired. After speaking with customer service, I was informed they could only honor one coupon online. While I usually hold your customer service in high regard, I was quite disappointed with the assistance I received on this occasion.

During my visit to Rapid City, SD this week, I made a purchase at the Bath and Body store in Rushmore Mall. After realizing I was charged incorrectly for some items that were on sale, overpaid for a free item, and didn't receive my coupon discount, I went back to get it fixed. Unfortunately, the employee named Summer was unhelpful and argued with me, so I decided to return everything. I appreciate the friendly and outgoing staff at the Casper, WY store and will shop there instead in the future. Patty F.

I was delighted to have early access to the sale as a loyal and long-term customer. However, I encountered issues with my account access, necessitating the creation of a new account to make a purchase. Selecting items was easy, but the cart refresh rate and update time were frustratingly slow when placing a large order. The checkout process was straightforward, but shipping and handling times were unacceptably slow for a brand of this caliber. Items arrived poorly packaged, with broken glass and leaks. There was no verification of the shipment contents before sending, leading to almost 3/8 of my order missing. Customer service was hard to reach, and the representatives struggled to understand and resolve the issues effectively. After spending over 1.5 hours on three calls, the problems remain unresolved, with missing items and incorrect credits. The lack of clarity on where the refund was applied was also disappointing. Overall, this experience was the worst I've had online. I hoped for a simple reshipment of missing items or proper credits, but unfortunately, neither occurred. Considering my loyalty and substantial spending, I expected much more.

Yesterday, on June 2nd, I visited the Bath & Body Works store located at [redacted]-G Bridford Pkwy in Greensboro, NC to exchange a few candles that had an overpowering scent and one that had broken glass. Despite having my receipts, the employee refused the return, citing the candles as "damaged." I was under the impression that even used candles could be returned. Some of them had minimal melting on the top as I had other errands to run in over 90-degree weather. It struck me as strange that while the store typically accepts burnt candles, they refused one with only slight melting. I then went to a different location and had no issue returning the candles. It appeared the initial store employee was unhelpful and displayed rudeness during the interaction.
