I have been waiting for my account to be credited since August 23rd and for a total of $51.00 to show up on my Samsung device. The reference number provided by Max Supervisor is [redacted]94. I spoke with a representative named Joe on August 23rd, and he assured me that the credit would appear in my email by the end of the business day. However, upon checking my device, I am disappointed to see that the balance is not showing, indicating that the credit team did not fulfill their duties once again. I kindly request that someone from the corporate office look into this matter for me. The Samsung device in question is used solely for loading books, and it is frustrating not to receive timely support when needed, especially when looking to upgrade to a newer device. Thank you, Antoinette Quadrello.

I recently bought an item along with a gift bag and arranged for it to be shipped. After completing the shipping form and paying the extra fee, the package was sent out using UPS. Despite the status showing it was delivered, I never received it. UPS has a reputation for leaving packages at the door where they can easily be taken by anyone passing by, which appears to be the case with my delivery. I'm disappointed as I'm now at a loss of both the item's cost and the gift intended for a child. When I inquired about a resolution, I was advised to contact the postal service as the responsibility does not fall on your company. However, I believe Barnes and Noble, as a user of UPS services, should advocate for better customer service on behalf of its customers. If Barnes and Noble continues to exclusively use UPS, I may need to reconsider using your services for shipping items in the future. For reference, the UPS tracking number for the shipment is 1ZE[redacted][redacted].

My teacher assigned me the book "Harassment Architecture," so I visited Barnes and Noble hoping to purchase it. Unfortunately, they didn't have it in stock, which is disappointing as I wanted to start reading it right away. What prompted me to write this is discovering that the author granted them permission to sell the book. I was planning to buy a membership with the book, especially after purchasing HP Lovecraft's short story collection from them recently. Barnes and Noble should carry "Harassment Architecture" by Mike Ma and other books they are authorized to sell to compete with Amazon. I prefer not to shop on Amazon, but I may have no choice if they don't stock these titles.

To whom it may concern, I recently purchased three DVDs from a store near me and had them shipped to my home. Unfortunately, the DVDs have not arrived. After contacting the Barnes and Noble store and canceling the order, I was informed that a refund was issued on 9/02/[redacted]. However, I have not seen the refund in my account yet. I spoke with the store manager who mentioned the involvement of their warehouse, which confuses me since I paid for the items in-store. I am eager to receive either the DVDs or a refund promptly. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. William Pulsipher.

I placed an online order at Barnes and Noble for local pickup at the store. Before placing the order, my husband called and inquired if we could pick up the item directly. Unfortunately, the employee he spoke with was unhelpful and mentioned they couldn't check due to clearance items in the back. Despite this, we proceeded to order online, hoping the staff would locate and hold the item for us. Surprisingly, our order was canceled shortly after placing it, and when we inquired, we were told they had spent a significant time searching. I am skeptical of this explanation as it appears the employees were not keen on fulfilling our order and simply canceled it. Our attempt to address this with the store directly was unsuccessful.

Dear Mr. Daunt,
I used to collaborate with B&N but faced challenges due to their CEO. Despite generating $10,[redacted] monthly in poster sales within 3 months, I was dismissed when the former President missed a chance to counter Amazon. I had a vision to merge book covers and illustrations into large wall art, potentially earning millions annually. Unfortunately, B&N didn't grasp the retail potential of featuring book-related art on their walls by partnering with publishers or utilizing public domain images. They overlooked the fact that people purchase visuals that resonate with their reading preferences. My idea aimed to monetize wall space effectively, leveraging existing software with better management. Unlike Amazon's scattered approach, we could refine B&N's strategy and boost their profitability.

I attended the Barnes and Noble in Las Vegas on Rainbow Blvd. for the Rakim book signing tonight, as promoted on your website for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 2nd. The employee informed me that the event was cancelled weeks ago, and corporate failed to update the website. In today's digital world, it is crucial to keep online information current. Failing to do so is highly irresponsible. I rearranged my schedule to attend this event and was left feeling frustrated and let down by the lack of communication regarding the cancellation. It is essential to improve communication with customers to maintain their loyalty when they have convenient alternatives like purchasing books from Amazon.

I recently made a purchase from Barnes and Noble, hoping for my package to arrive by September 30th. However, it did not show up. Checking the tracking, it was rescheduled for the 2nd of October, yet it was still a no-show. The site promised more details soon, but as of October 3rd, there was nothing. After contacting customer service, I was informed that my package is lost. The item I ordered was a crucial textbook for college assignments, now causing me to fall behind. If I were informed promptly about the loss, I could have explored other options. It's frustrating to have been misled by the delivery information and left in the dark until I took the initiative to reach out. This lack of transparency is unacceptable, and I am greatly disappointed.

I've been trying to purchase a book, but my order has been canceled four times. After speaking with two different customer service representatives, the first one mentioned that my email was flagged, but assured me the issue was resolved. Upon placing the order for the third time, it was canceled again. The second representative spent over 40 minutes on the phone taking my information multiple times to place the order. Despite her efforts, the order was canceled for the fourth time. She mentioned that there was a hold on my account that needed to be resolved by the sales department. However, when I was transferred, the call was dropped as no one answered. Now, when I try to call back, the customer service number is not working. I'm frustrated as I really want this book, but the experience has made me hesitant to support Barnes and Noble further.

I wanted to share that I avoid any business that supports the book "If You Give A Pig The White House" by Fay Kanouse and illustrated by Amy Zhing. This book seems to promote disrespecting adults, including the American President. It encourages ridicule, hate, and verbal abuse, which I believe is a form of violence. I choose to not support any establishment that endorses such content.

I am very disappointed in Barnes & Noble for stocking the book titled "If You Give a Pig the Whitehouse". During this politically tense time, having a book with a title linked to a children's series is inappropriate. I will not be supporting your stores or online ordering until this issue is resolved. Regardless of personal opinions, the President deserves respect, and books like this only add to the lack of it. If you wish to discuss this matter further, please reach out to me through my email.

Subject: Concern about a Book Display at Barnes and Noble
I am deeply upset by the presence of a book at Barnes and Noble that I find offensive. The book titled "If you give a pig the White House" is not appropriate, in my opinion. I was shocked to see it prominently displayed on a center table when I visited the store. It upset me to the point where I didn't want my 8-year-old grandson to see it. I appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of the bookstore, and this experience has left me feeling angry and not inclined to make any purchases. I have shared my thoughts on Facebook as well.

I have concerns about a book in your store that are deeply troubling. The book "If you give a pig the White House" is offensive and I fear it promotes hate to my grandchildren. If this book is not removed from your shelves, I will speak out about how it can influence our children negatively and promotes hate toward the President. Regardless of one's political stance, if this book depicted any other president, there would likely be significant backlash. As someone tired of political agendas being forced upon us, I urge you to take action swiftly. I usually avoid conflict, but this situation is unacceptable. Selling this book reflects poorly on your store and I hope you will reconsider its presence.

I have been a customer for years. Today, I visited your store at Hulen in Ft Worth, TX. I was disappointed to see the book "If You Give a Pig the Whitehouse." None of my family members will return as long as you continue to sell this book. When I raised my concerns, the manager stated, "we don't take a stand on anything, we simply sell published books." By choosing to sell this book, you are indeed taking a stand. While I understand this may not affect Barnes & Noble, our future business will be directed elsewhere.

I am writing to express my disappointment in the book "If You Give a Pig the Whitehouse" being prominently displayed in your stores. As a children's book, it is concerning to see such content with political implications. Regardless of personal opinions, the President should be treated with respect. It is important to teach children values like manners and respect, rather than encouraging negative behavior when facing disagreements. Perhaps it is time for Barnes and Noble to acknowledge this issue and reconsider their display choices.

I recently discovered that you are selling the book "If You Give a Pig the White House: A Parody" by Faye Kanouse and Amy Zhing (Illustrator). Due to this, I and others I know will no longer be supporting your business. It is disappointing to see such content that appears to wish harm upon the country's elected president. Such actions are regrettable and reflect poorly on you as a company. Previous presidents faced criticism without such disrespectful behavior. I will make sure to share this information widely. Your actions are disgraceful.

I will be boycotting your store until you remove all books (series and related) that feature a pig as the President of the United States. I believe these books contain political propaganda and should not be accessible to children. I have informed my family members whose accounts I manage that we will no longer support your store financially until these books are removed from your shelves. Let customers order these items online if they wish, but please do not display them prominently in your stores. I urge you to take action on this matter.

Regarding order # [redacted]: I did not receive the 15% off email until after I placed my order. I am interested in placing another order but the code, which is valid until November 7th, was not accepted. How can I get the promised discount for my second order or apply a credit to my initial order? I enjoy using your website and plan to make more purchases for the upcoming holidays.

I purchased a shirt online to pick up in the store, even confirming its availability by calling ahead. After successfully checking out and receiving an order confirmation (Order #[redacted]), I later received a cancellation email stating the item was suddenly not available. I followed the links provided in the email to ship the item but found a price $20 higher with no image available. After calling customer service (call reference #[redacted]40), I ended up speaking to a manager with no resolution. The website was confusing, and the representative lacked concern. Feeling quite frustrated and dissatisfied with Barnes & Noble's customer service, I was left feeling dismissed. This disappointing experience has left me as an extremely unhappy customer, and I have decided not to spend any further money at Barnes & Noble.

I have been a loyal customer of B&N for two decades, visiting weekly. During my recent visit, I came across a book titled "When You Give a Pig the White House" by Faye Kanouse. This parody of our President is disrespectful and filled with falsehoods, regardless of political views. I am deeply disappointed and conflicted about continuing to support your store. Despite noticing a bias towards liberal books being prominently displayed while conservative ones are often harder to find, I have overlooked it in the past. However, this book has crossed a line for me. Thank you for listening to my concerns. Regards, VS
