The water in our bathroom has a strong smell resembling rotten eggs, and unfortunately, the hotel has been unable to address this issue. After showering, my skin and hair also carry this unpleasant scent. Other guests have experienced the same problem, which has persisted for several days with no resolution from the hotel. It is unhygienic and unacceptable. The hotel mentioned a water problem that might not improve even if we switch rooms. Since we have a 3-night stay, we are considering changing hotels right away. Please assist in finding a solution to this issue. I am a VIP Platinum Member on Agoda and expect better accommodation.

I made a booking at OYO [redacted] Corner Golf View in Bangalore under Booking Reference [redacted]41 for an 8-day stay. Upon arrival, I was shocked by the poor condition of the hotel. The room was dirty, with water leaking from the ceiling and overall unpleasant odors throughout the property. When I raised these concerns with Shivu, who manages the property, he dismissed my complaints. Despite my request for a better room, my concerns were not addressed. I ultimately chose not to check in and seek accommodation elsewhere. I kindly request a refund for the remaining 7 days of my booking as this issue remains unresolved. I have a reservation at Belair Gardens Caravan Park on March 9, [redacted], with booking ID [redacted]. I am looking to request a refund. I made two bookings on Agoda for the Kimberely Hotel in Hong Kong. The first booking was for April 11th to April 16th (Booking ID-[redacted]61) and the second one was for April 12th to April 15th (Booking ID-[redacted]73). I only provided credit card details to hold the bookings, with the understanding that no charges would occur until April 7th and April 3rd respectively. However, I was surprised to see a charge of HKD968 on my credit card today. Upon contacting the hotel, they directed me to Agoda customer care, stating they are not authorized to make charges. This situation is causing confusion and distress as I have already canceled the bookings and alerted my credit card provider, yet the charge remains on my account. I am disappointed by Agoda's unprofessionalism and feel compelled to never use their services again. I seek a resolution and a written apology for the stress and inconvenience caused by this unexpected charge.

Yesterday, I booked a hotel on Agoda, but I made an error with the dates. I selected March 12 to March 13 when I actually need March 11 to March 12. I attempted to modify the dates on the website but it was not permitted. The hotel informed me to make the changes through Agoda's website or for Agoda to contact them via email to adjust the dates. Please assist me promptly as I have limited time before tomorrow. Thank you.

Dear Agoda Team, I would like to inform you that I have a reservation for one night at Kyriad Sens Hotel on March 12th, which falls on a Sunday. Due to work circumstances, the event has been postponed to Tuesday, March 14th. I tried to modify the date on the website, but it was not allowed. If I cancel, the amount will not be refunded. I kindly request to adjust the booking to March 14th, Tuesday. I trust in your excellent customer service and understanding in situations like mine, especially when facing unforeseen circumstances. Yesterday, I booked a hotel through Agoda. However, upon arriving at the hotel today, the reception informed me that my booking had been canceled by Agoda. They mentioned the cancellation was due to using a bank card under a different name for payment. I used my boyfriend's card since we were traveling together and would check-in jointly. I want to clarify that I'm not involved in any fraudulent activity. We are genuine travelers sharing expenses. I urge Agoda to review my booking at The Jayakarta Sp Hotel and Spa and refund the amount to the specified bank card. This situation has caused us distress, leading my boyfriend to make a second booking and payment. I look forward to your response via email, where I can provide passport and bank account photos from my boyfriend. This will serve as proof of our genuine intent.

I recently made a confirmed booking at the M Hotel Makkah Millennium for 4 nights from March 17th to 21st, [redacted] with Booking ID: [redacted]23. I, Fatma K., encountered an issue with the Visa card I used for booking, preventing me from making the payment due on March 11th. I recently made a booking at the Elite Residence in Bahrain through your company for Room Number [redacted] under the name Mohd Al Thawadi. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I found the room to be very old and not as advertised on the website. The furniture, including the leather and the hall, was not up to the standard I was expecting based on the information provided in February. When I requested a different room or a refund due to the unsatisfactory conditions, the reception staff denied my request for either option. This situation reflects poorly on both your company and the hotel itself. I am seeking a resolution, either by providing a new, clean room for another day or by processing a refund for the booking.

Dear Agoda Customer Service, I have been trying to change my reservation to one day later since Monday of this week. I was sent a link to pay 15€ twice, but the link is not working. Despite daily phone and email conversations, no progress has been made. The hotel confirmed that no one has requested a change for my booking, but I received emails and calls claiming the hotel has no availability. I am extremely frustrated by the lack of coordination. Hello everyone, I made a hotel reservation on your website, but the confirmation email didn't arrive immediately, coming in 10 minutes later. Surprisingly, there was no confirmation on the website directly after booking, causing me to believe the reservation had not been successful. Consequently, I ended up booking another hotel by mistake. Upon realizing this, I promptly canceled one of the bookings. The email stated that refunds were not possible once a hotel was booked, but I canceled one of them within 10 minutes. Is there a chance I can receive a refund for the canceled booking? Booking #[redacted]37: I chose this hotel for its affordability, despite being labeled as non-smoking. Upon arrival, I was met with a strong odor of mold and cigarettes in the room. The twin beds appeared unclean, and the staff claimed there were no other available rooms or clean sheets. Despite the unfavorable conditions, I had to stay the first night due to the weather. The hallway was wet from ceiling leaks, and cigarette butts littered the area. I am a backpacker accustomed to simple accommodations, but the stench was intolerable even with ventilation. Despite numerous attempts to contact Agoda through phone and email, along with assistance from the helpful receptionists, Natcha and Lalita, at The Train Resort desk, the issue remains unresolved. My friend, Kira Phoompasut, also booked a room through Agoda with ID [redacted]41, which is further complicating matters as I attempt to cancel my unused reservation. In my booking, it stated that I would receive tea and coffee in the room, but upon arrival, the hotel mentioned that these amenities are not provided. It may seem trivial, but after an 8-hour journey without any refreshments, I was looking forward to having tea or coffee with my snacks upon arrival late last night. Unfortunately, this was not the case. I had to wait an additional 8 hours until breakfast was available in another area, as the hotel does not offer it in-room either. Overall, it was quite a disappointing experience.

Almost two months ago, during my stay at Elysium Styles Taksim, I was given a pre-authorization for USD50.00 for warranty purposes. Unfortunately, when I checked out, the staff mishandled the cancellation process, leading to them not refunding me the money. I was assured that the refund would happen within 15 days, and I provided my credit card details as requested. Despite repeated attempts to follow up via chat, I have not received any updates. Hello, I made a reservation for a hotel in Saigon, paid for it, and confirmed the payment with my bank using the Certicode application. I received two emails from you stating that there was an error processing the payment, each with a different ID number ([redacted]32 and [redacted]77). Upon arriving in Saigon at 8 pm, we checked in at GK Central hotel at around 9 pm, only to be informed that the hotel was fully booked. As a result, we were offered an upgraded room at a nearby location. Unfortunately, the alternative hotel was undergoing renovations, with the floor we were placed on experiencing loud construction noises all night. We had to resolve the situation ourselves and return to GK Central independently. Initially booked through Booking.com, we later discovered the stay was arranged through Agoda. After reporting the issue, Booking.com directed us to Agoda, stating they are responsible for the overbooking incident.
