I booked a double room with breakfast at Parkhotel on Lake Bled in Slovenia with a lake view around June 22. The hotel, however, only offered a room facing the parking lot in the opposite direction. After a lengthy conversation with the hotel management, I gained some surprising insights. It seems that Agoda "sells" rooms with premium "amenities" (such as a lake view) that the hotel does not provide to guests, especially because these rooms were not "ordered"/paid for by Agoda to the hotel. I tried to contact Agoda by phone, but it was not possible. The hotel kindly offered a complimentary dinner as compensation, which was not obligatory. What Agoda is doing in this regard is, to put it mildly, outrageous!

On June 3rd, I attempted to reserve a room for July 12th to 22nd but mistakenly ended up with two reservations - one free cancellation and one non-refundable. Since I usually check my Yahoo email ([redacted]) and not my Gmail, I didn't realize this mistake until later. When I saw the booking confirmations for [redacted] and [redacted] charged at [redacted].90 Canadian dollars, I cancelled the hotel booking. Now, I am unsure of what to do next. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

On June 1, I attempted to book a stay at Tower Suites by Blue Orchide for July 12-22. The booking was initially declined by the bank, leading me to believe it was unsuccessful. Later, the bank approved the charge, and I received a confirmation email at an unused Gmail account. I typically use my Yahoo email, [redacted] On July 5, I noticed the charge on my bank statement for CAD [redacted].90. Realizing the error, I contacted the hotel to cancel, only to discover I had unintentionally made two bookings for the same period - one refundable and one nonrefundable. I am seeking assistance in resolving this situation as it was a result of confusion and a mistake during the online booking process.

I was supposed to check in on July 7th, but my flight kept getting delayed. When I arrived at the hotel on July 8th around 1:30 am, I was asked to show my ID, which I did. I was then asked to sign some paperwork and pay the full amount upfront, which was frustrating. They also informed me that I couldn't order food from outside, and their kitchen was closed. Exhausted from my long flight, I found this treatment disappointing. The staff informed me that if I didn't want to stay, they would charge my credit card. I couldn't afford to pay for two hotels at the same time. Their behavior was extremely rude, so I had to find another hotel and pay double. I don't want any charges on my credit card for a hotel I never actually stayed in.

I recently made a hotel reservation for Jun.24th - 25th, but the date got changed to July 24th, which I did not request. This same issue happened to me before, causing me to spend hours on the phone to fix it. I ended up having to sleep in my car because no one helped correct the mistake. I suspect this was deliberate, and I am requesting a full refund to be credited back to the original card used for payment. I believe it is essential to address this matter properly to prevent similar incidents from happening to others. Despite speaking to a representative two weeks ago who was supposed to assist me, I have not received any updates. Thank you.

The hotel is pleasant, and the staff is friendly, but there are significant challenges that prevent a good night's sleep. One major issue is the noisy wild dogs barking consistently at night. Additionally, there is a loud church service next to the hotel that operates 24/7, disrupting sleep. To add to the disturbance, there is ongoing loud construction near the hotel during the day. These factors make it nearly impossible to rest. The combination of the noisy dogs, church services, and construction noise creates a difficult environment for sleeping. I wish to share my experience at Sinsuvarn Airport Suite during my recent stay with booking ID [redacted]72. I have left the hotel ahead of schedule due to the poor living conditions. Although the hotel is conveniently located near the airport and is advertised as a 4-star property on Agoda, my stay was disappointing. Despite informing the hotel directly about my early check-out, I was advised to request a refund through Agoda. The room had issues such as a foul smell in the bathroom, inadequate WiFi and TV reception, and a dirty pool. The air conditioner was not effective, and the room key provided was manual and seemed easily duplicable. Communication was challenging as minimal English was spoken by the staff. I booked the WunderLocke apartment in Munich through the Booking operator from 4/07 to 10/07 under the name of D. Mario with reservation number [redacted][redacted]. Upon arrival, the apartment did not match the description. Although we received a refund invoice from the property, we have not yet received the refund. This morning around 8:30, I made a hotel reservation in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand through Agoda for the hotel HFH Eco Green. However, when I arrived at the location using the map provided on the portal, it directed me to Hotel Eminence. Despite confirming with the hotel staff upon arrival, they mentioned that there was no booking under my name with Agoda. They clarified that their current name is Hotel Eminence after purchasing the property. I had already checked in and spent two hours in the room when they informed me of the misunderstanding. I had made a prepaid payment of RS. [redacted] and now seek a refund due to the incorrect information on the website. I tried contacting Agoda through calls and chat but have not received any response. I urge for a quick resolution to this matter and request a cancellation of my booking along with a refund.

Hello, I made a reservation at Tuna Hostel in Istanbul for 2 adults and 2 children, with reservation ID number [redacted]23. Upon arrival, no staff was present, and my family and I had to wait on the street for 3 hours. The reservation promised a room with 2 large beds, Wi-Fi, and parking. We had to pay an extra [redacted] TL for parking as we waited outside along with another family who also had a reservation at the same hostel. The room shown to us after 3 hours was in very poor condition, located in a basement with no lights, dirty bedding, and no shower. This experience was unacceptable for tourists. Good evening, I have already paid all the fees for the Agli Artist hotel in Venice, including the city tourist tax totaling [redacted].00 reais as stated in the reservation confirmation. I made a reservation with Agoda for a hotel in Budapest from June 20th to 27th. I was charged on the day I booked. Upon arrival, the hotel requested payment before check-in, which I paid. However, upon returning home, I realized I was double-charged. After sending multiple emails, Agoda finally admitted fault lies with the hotel. I am now working with the hotel to receive a refund. My advice is to avoid booking through Agoda as I am still awaiting my refund in addition to the inconvenience caused. - Gad.

I received the initial email offering a full refund, to which I responded. Unfortunately, I did not receive a response. Later, I received a second email regarding the refund. The bottom line is, I am requesting the refund as initially offered. On Sun, Jul 10, [redacted], 9:58 AM, I received an email from Agoda Customer Service <[redacted]> stating that my booking at Cape Dara Resort in Pattaya, Thailand, could not be accommodated due to nationality restrictions. They offered a full refund and additional AgodaCash of USD 25.15, which I never responded to. I am now reaching out to request the refund as previously offered. We reserved a hotel in Valletta, Malta for five people through Agoda. Upon arrival, the hotel informed us the booking was for 3 people with Booking.com. We then discovered in the email from Agoda that they had subcontracted our booking to Booking.com, resulting in our reservation details being altered. The receptionist at the hotel was unhelpful and suggested we pay for a second room at [redacted]€. We presented our reservation from Agoda, but she insisted on the Booking.com reservation. She mentioned past issues with Agoda but emphasized that it was not her responsibility to rectify. Unfortunately, there seems to be no contact information provided by Agoda for us to address this issue. If anyone has any suggestions, it would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received an email from Agoda confirming a hotel booking in Malaysia. However, I reside in Canada and have never made any reservations in Malaysia or used Agoda before. The email includes details for a stay at the OYO [redacted] Night Queen Hotel from July 15 to 16, for 1 night. I canceled the reservation immediately due to the error, but unfortunately, I cannot get a refund. I called your customer service right away, and one of your representatives sent a complaint to Booking, but I did not receive a copy of that complaint. On June 27, [redacted], I successfully booked a flight for my brother, Gerome P. Cabizares, from Cebu to Manila using my credit card. Two days later, on June 29, [redacted], I encountered an issue when booking his return flight from Manila to Cebu. After selecting a flight priced at Php 2,[redacted].57, the price unexpectedly changed to Php 2,[redacted].00 during the booking process. I then found a slightly cheaper option at Php 2,[redacted].82, completed the transaction, and received a confirmation. However, I later discovered that I had inadvertently booked and was charged for two flights. Upon contacting the bank and airline, we were informed that the booking was not finalized, and a refund would be issued. Despite seeking advice from the Air Asia office at the Manila airport, we were told that a refund could not be processed due to each flight having a different booking ID. Hello, I have made a reservation for a superior room with breakfast at the Al Qasr Metropole hotel in Amman, Jordan, from July 22 to July 28 through Agoda. Due to a flight change, I will now be checking in on July 23 and checking out on July 29, [redacted]. I would appreciate it if my booking could be adjusted to reflect these new dates free of charge. We registered our property with Booking.com under Booking ID: [redacted]. Our customers also book through Agoda, but their details are not visible to us, causing communication issues and financial losses. It's challenging when customers don't show up, especially since we can't receive them in person due to online bookings. We are unsure who is responsible for cancellation charges in these cases.
