I arrived at the check-in desk at Manchester Airport an hour and 15 minutes before my 14:25 flight, only to find it closed. Despite checking in online the day before, I still needed a boarding pass. Unfortunately, there were no Aer Lingus representatives available at the airport. After speaking with someone over the phone in Dublin and then London, I ended up having to purchase a ticket at a much higher cost for a flight the next day. The whole process was challenging due to the noisy environment and difficulty understanding the representative's accent. Trying to buy a ticket for the same day's flight with both credit and debit cards failed. Ultimately, I had to return home and come back to the airport the next day. As a loyal Aer Lingus customer for my trips to Ireland and America, I am truly disappointed by the drastic decline in customer service.

Hello, I had planned a trip from Toulouse to Dublin from October 22nd to October 26th. I received an email from you informing me that my flight was canceled. I requested a refund. However, on September 4th, I received an email from Aer Lingus offering me discounted flights. I checked the flights and noticed that on October 26th, the flight was sold out and not canceled. Can you please explain why my flight was canceled? Reservation reference 25QAI2. Thank you for your response.

I have been waiting for a no-show letter to provide to my insurance company for a claim. The case reference is [redacted]5. The booking reservations are as follows: - 2MRT52 - 2MTS82 - 2JTE72 We supplied a medical report from Blackrock Clinic as my companion was unable to fly. Despite my efforts via phone, email, and messages for updates, I have been unable to get the required assistance. Customer service has only been able to communicate via email on my behalf and has not provided the necessary help. I would like to book a flight from Amsterdam to Cork departing on October 4th and returning on the 8th. I am interested in booking an economy flight with 10 kilograms of hand luggage that I may need to check in. I want to avoid paying 35 euros for taking it onboard. I might need to bring an additional bag with books for a book club in Ireland, although this is uncertain at the moment. Could you please clarify if I can book the economy flight for October 4th from Amsterdam to Cork and back on the 8th, and later add an extra bag weighing up to 5-10 kilograms? I had a flight scheduled for 9/9/23 at 8:55 a.m. from Philadelphia, but it was canceled. I was rebooked for a flight on 9/10/23 at the same time, but this one had a delay due to weather and refueling issues. After waiting on the plane, the flight was eventually canceled, and I was told to take a 3:00 p.m. flight on 9/11/23. However, when my husband called, they said I could only get a flight at 8:55 p.m. that night. This disrupted my plans to visit Ireland with my brothers for their birthdays and then travel to Amsterdam on the 13th. I had to cancel my trip. Although I did receive a refund for my tickets, I believe I deserve significant compensation for the inconvenience caused by missed opportunities and the time and effort spent dealing with Aer Lingus over the phone and making trips to the airport.

I submitted a voucher request on August 18th. I am Kim Schoenbeck. I have called four times, sent multiple emails, and filled out two voucher forms. My original flight was supposed to leave from SFO on 9/8 with the number E-[redacted] and return on 9/17 with flight E-[redacted]. Due to a family bereavement, I had to change my plans, and I am trying to obtain a voucher for a future trip. My case number is [redacted]3. I made a reservation with loveholidays for January [redacted]. I paid a £58 deposit and had to pay £[redacted] in 3 installments. Before my first payment was due, they changed the dates and flights by 2 days. I tried to cancel, but they still took my payment. Today, they tried to take my second payment, but it was blocked as per my instruction to the bank. I am very frustrated with the situation. Any advice on what to do next would be helpful. Hello, I am reaching out regarding our recent experience with booking return flights to Orlando, Florida through your company. When we purchased preferred seating for each flight, we were disappointed to find out last minute that our selected seats were no longer available due to a plane change. We were advised to seek a refund upon our return. I would like to know what specific information you need in order to process this refund promptly. Furthermore, I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with Aerlingus's policy on preferential seat booking. My decision to pay extra for seating and select first-row economy seats months in advance was to ensure my husband and son, who require additional legroom, were comfortable during the long-haul flights. It was disheartening to be informed last minute during check-in for the outbound flight and only upon boarding the return flight that our preferred seats were unavailable due to the airplane change. I believe that seats purchased in advance should be honored, regardless of plane changes. I find it unacceptable that the seats I specifically selected were not allocated to us before standard check-in. Offering a refund as compensation falls short of addressing this issue. Knowing about Aerlingus's substandard policy, I am hesitant to book future long-haul flights with your airline. The reservation was made on Saturday, 02/12/[redacted] for the following itinerary: Lyon => Cork, outbound flight on March 23, [redacted] Cork => Lyon, return flight on March 30, [redacted] I made a payment of [redacted].44 € with my credit card during the booking process on 02/12/[redacted].
