I am facing issues with my AOL email account linked to the email address [redacted], which I have had for approximately 15 years. Recently, after attempting to set up a website for my online business, I encountered password acceptance problems with this account. Despite resetting the password multiple times, the account rejects it upon login. This issue has also affected other apps on my 6-year-old Apple iMac. Despite Apple Support's assistance in reinstalling the operating system, the problem persists, especially with the AOL app. As a result, I have lost important emails. Considering these difficulties, I am requesting to retire the problematic account [redacted] and transition to a new account, [redacted], to ensure reliability for my business endeavors. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am inquiring if an email has been sent to Verizon users with AOL email accounts regarding the transition to a new AOL email version. The email mentioned a response deadline of August 11th. I typically access AOL email through my Verizon account and want to make sure before proceeding with the update by clicking the provided link. The email was from [redacted]

Several months ago, my computer was hacked by someone with an accent similar to individuals from India. They took control of my computer and removed unwanted sites and emails for a fee of $[redacted]. Due to recent surgery, I was confused and paid the amount from my bank account. After clearing the charge, there have been no further transactions. The individual emailed me last month advising against responding to any future requests from them regarding computer changes. Upon researching the company, I discovered it was an aircraft repair business. When I tried to locate the company's address on Google Maps, it showed a blank street with a garage building. Following this, my AOL email was altered, restricting my access.

Hello, I recently spoke with a tech support representative around 9 PM who recommended that I sign up for the [redacted] Tech Plus by AOL Platinum to address my issue. Afterward, I was connected to the Tech Plus support group, but the call abruptly ended after a series of clicks. I have made numerous attempts to reach out by calling 1-[redacted], but each time I am met with a robotic message stating that I will be connected to tech support, only to encounter the same issue - ringing, then a click, and silence. I am eager to speak with a Tech Plus representative. My case number is [redacted]3.

I am grateful for the independent support offered for AOL. I attempted to remove AOL System Mechanic without success after my card changed, leading to unauthorized use of my card by AOL. When I tried to dispute the charge, the provided number was out of service, and other AOL customer service lines were also not functioning. It seems AOL is now charging me to access customer service for assistance. I would like AOL to refund the $4.99 for System Mechanic, discontinue the unused service, and provide a way to contact them without additional charges. I have a shared account under carlbdavid@[redacted], with eddyrobey@[redacted] being the original and current user. I hope this situation is due to a system error and not intentional mismanagement.

I originally contacted AOL to change my password only. However, my main account is now inaccessible to me, and a second account, [redacted], has been set as the primary account without my permission. I believe I was hacked by a program/account from Yahoo-aol that I did not request or want, making my computer dysfunctional. I need my original account, [redacted], restored to the master account as it contained important medical records that I now cannot access. I recently had hip replacement surgery and urgently need those records. I did not ask for these changes and need help fixing my computer. This situation is causing me great inconvenience and distress.

I forgot my password for my email account [redacted] My laptop used to remember it, but now it's not working. When I try to reset it, I keep getting a message saying I can't do it online. I tried using the recovery email but haven't received anything, and now my account is locked. I've attempted all the passwords I can remember without success. I hope to regain access to my email by recovering it and setting a new password.

In spring [redacted], AOL notified me about changes needed for my Email account by a specific date. Despite trying for weeks, I couldn't make the changes as the pop-up message kept saying to try later or that something went wrong. Then on July 7, all emails stopped coming in, and I lost access to my account. I created the account years ago and couldn't remember my password. Every time I attempt to contact support for help, I'm informed that there isn't enough information to verify my identity to proceed. All my important contacts, bills, flight information, and tickets are associated with my email [redacted], which I can no longer access. I've even received debt collector letters for an unpaid gas bill because reminders were sent to my original inaccessible email address. I've created a new address, [redacted], and I'm hoping to be contacted there to resolve this distressing issue. Thank you in advance. - Sandy M.

Hello, I am having trouble accessing my email. When I try to log in, I receive a message stating, "We've noticed some unusual account activity. For your safety, choose a method below to verify that it's really you signing in to this account." I no longer have access to my backup email address, [redacted], as I cannot recall the password to that account and am unable to retrieve the code sent to it. How can I gain access to my email account? Thank you, Les

I attempted to log in to AOL and received a notification about unusual activity. They stated a code was being sent to my phone ending in 94. My current home phone ends in [redacted], but previously ended in [redacted] before the [redacted] area code was added. Unfortunately, I can't receive the code as the old phone number is no longer in use. Every customer service line is reporting high call volumes, making it difficult to reach them. Due to not having access to my email account, I am unable to receive help via email.

I am unable to log into my AOL account. I managed to access it on my iPhone7, but my desktop does not recognize any password I have used in the past 6 months. Should the desktop use the same password as the iPhone? This issue started after I believe an update was pushed through recently, possibly from iTunes. I will check your email response on my iPhone. I urgently need assistance TODAY, Thursday, December 23rd, [redacted]. Thank you.

I'm having trouble accessing my AOL Mail account with the email address [redacted] Yesterday, my computer had an issue with shutting down properly and when I restarted it, I received a message saying it was getting ready for first-time use. Despite restoring everything, I am unable to retrieve my AOL Mail. When I tried to sign in, I received an error message indicating an incorrect password. It's possible that I may have accidentally changed it while restoring other programs. I find dealing with computers challenging. What should I do next?

I have a monthly subscription for iCloud Storage where I store valuable pictures of my family. When I tried updating my payment method to a new credit card, I encountered an issue where it was incorrectly flagged as expired despite entering the new expiration date. I hired a computer technician who changed my email address and password for my old [redacted] account. I sought help at the Apple store, but they advised that resolving issues with the AOL email account was necessary to retrieve my iCloud pictures. I am distressed because I have over [redacted] irreplaceable photos of my deceased parents and children. My current email is [redacted], acquired after my marriage in [redacted]. You can reach me at [redacted] or our home phone at [redacted]. I am worried about the possibility of losing my precious photos permanently.

A week ago, my AOL address book was hacked, and phishing emails were sent to my contacts requesting money. Despite reaching out to AOL support three times, I haven't received any useful assistance from the representative, "Steve." My Outlook is no longer receiving incoming emails, and when I check my AOL mail on AOL.com, all new messages are being directed to the "Trash" folder. Even when I move them to the "Inbox," they don't show up in Outlook as they used to. I have noticed that adjusting the forwarding settings and sender email addresses in AOL hasn't been effective. Additionally, I'm uncertain if the server names in my Outlook settings should be Yahoo.

I am currently unable to access my long-standing AOL email account, which is crucial for me as I use it daily. When I attempted to sign in recently, I encountered an error message indicating unusual account activity and requesting verification through a phone number I no longer have. An AOL representative informed me that purchasing a monthly plan for $30 is my only option to regain access. I was not forewarned about this change and stress the urgency of accessing my account, as it contains vital medical information related to my cancer diagnosis and treatment. Despite the updated phone number provided by the AOL support person, I am still unable to recover my account online and continuously face error messages when attempting to change my password. This situation has left me in a distressing loop, and I require immediate technical assistance to resolve this issue created by AOL. I seek access to my account without financial barriers imposed suddenly on what has always been a free service. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, D. Byron.

Hello, I received a call from someone claiming to be from the naukri team when I was feeling very down due to unemployment. Hopeful that they could help, I paid 3 thousand towards a Dell Technologies placement, with a promise to pay the rest later. Unable to fulfill the remaining amount, I asked for a refund, but have not received it. They avoid my calls and emails, and hang up when they realize it's me. I discovered they use AOL Mail Services. I seek assistance in resolving this matter and reclaiming my funds.

I have been paying for two AOL accounts using two different Discover cards. When my father passed away in [redacted], I canceled his account. However, in December [redacted], I was billed for his closed account again. I contacted AOL in [redacted] to address the double billing, and they assured me one account was closed. Recently, when I fell behind on payments, I noticed I was still being billed for two accounts and called AOL. They only provided a partial credit for the closed account. After disputing with Discover, they granted me a full month credit and investigated when the billing resumed, suspecting a computer error. I inadvertently paid for one month in [redacted], 12 months in [redacted], and approximately 9-10 months for a non-existent account in [redacted]. I would appreciate a credit for those months on my current account due to the significant amount of money involved.
