Wells Fargo makes it easy to pay your bills by sending payments electronically via an automatic clearing houseĀ (ACH). You can do it online or on your phone. However, you can set it up once you decide how and where to pay.

Wells Fargo lets you schedule recurring bills and payments on specific dates, either monthly or per year. Here are the steps to send an ACH payment from your Wells Fargo account.

1. Visit Your Wells Fargo Account

Go to your account to send an ACH payment with Wells Fargo. Then click Bank Transfers under Transfer Funds to find the section where you can enter bank details or pay bills.

2. Select the Make a Payment Option

Select Make a Bank Transfer. On the next page, specify the amount and the date you want to withdraw funds from your bank account. This option lets you make smaller payments each month and schedule them to come out regularly.

3. Enter the Recipient's Information

Add your payment recipient's name in the To field. If you want to use an existing payee that you've previously used, select it from the list of recent payments.

Enter how much money you want to send in the Payment Information section. Schedule automatic payments regularly.

4. Review Your Information

Click View Payment Details to find out who you've paid, who will receive your payment and the information related to this transaction.

5. Choose Pay Now

If you would like to modify any details about this transaction, such as adding information or changing the date paid for some reason, select Edit next to Transaction Date.

To complete your ACH transfer, click Pay Now. It will take you to a confirmation page to confirm payment. Click the Submit Payment button.

6. Wells Fargo Will Confirm the Payment Setup

After reviewing and confirming the transaction, click Next. It will prompt you to input your online banking password to verify your identity. Wells Fargo will email you informing you of the payment it's processed.
