Do not turn off your service with your current provider until your number is fully activated in your new T-Mobile account.

When you are ready to contact T-Mobile to switch service, you must have the following information with you:Current phone numberCurrent service provider's nameYour account number with your current service providerYour billing addressPorting PIN from your current service providerIn most cases, your number should be transferred over to T-Mobile within minutes of finishing the online transfer procedure.
