How Do I Add My KTN to My Ticket on British Airways?

The TSA check at American airports is one of the most dreaded experiences of travelling today. Thankfully, British Airways is a proud participant of the TSA precheck program.

The program allows you to quickly go through airport security checks at American airports. It is able to do so with the use of a KTN (Known Traveler Number).

If you are the member of the TSA Precheck program, then will be spared from many of the procedures many are subjected to at the airport such as removal of shoes, liquids, belt and electronics.

It is very cheap to become a member of the program. It only requires $85 for a five-year membership. Once you are approved for the program, you will receive your KTN and you will be designated a trusted traveler.

The ability to clear through airport security so fast will definitely save you time and hassle when boarding flights. In some cases, it may be the difference between boarding a flight and missing one.

The program makes it safer to travel on airplanes since passengers who are untrustworthy cannot board the flight. The KTN will increasingly become commonplace and the dominant way of evaluating air travel passengers in the future.
