Can I cancel my WestJet flight and get a refund?

Asked a year ago
Yes, you can cancel your WestJet flight and receive a refund under certain conditions. The eligibility for a refund depends on the type of fare you have purchased. If you have a Basic fare, it is non-refundable. However, if you hold a Flex fare or a Plus fare, you are entitled to a refund. For Flex fare, cancellations made before the flight departure can be refunded to your original form of payment. Plus fare provides a full refund to the original payment method if canceled within 24 hours of booking. In case of cancellation after 24 hours, you will receive credit in the form of WestJet dollars. Refund requests can be easily made online through the Manage Trips section on the WestJet website. Please note that refund policies may vary for reservations made through third parties or travel agents.
