Can I use wood chips on my Weber gas grill?

Asked a year ago
Yes, you can use wood chips on your Weber gas grill. Weber gas grills are designed to offer the convenience of gas cooking while still allowing you to enjoy the smoky flavor provided by wood chips. To use wood chips, you will need a smoker box or a foil packet. Simply soak the wood chips in water for around 30 minutes, then drain them before placing them in the smoker box or onto a double layer of aluminum foil. Poke holes in the foil to allow the smoke to escape. Place the smoker box or foil packet directly on the flavorizer bars or on the grill grate next to the burner. Close the lid and let the grill preheat. Once it's preheated, you can start cooking with delicious smoky flavors on your Weber gas grill.
