Can I use Waze offline?

Asked a year ago
No, Waze cannot be used offline. It requires an internet connection to function properly. Waze relies on real-time information updates from its active community of drivers to provide accurate directions, traffic updates, and alerts. These updates are crucial for its dynamic re-routing feature, which helps users avoid traffic congestion and find the fastest routes. Without an internet connection, Waze would not be able to access this live data and provide reliable navigation. However, Waze does have a feature called "planned drives" that allows users to enter a destination and receive directions when offline. But for fully functional navigation capabilities, an internet connection is necessary.
