What types of expenses are eligible for reimbursement?

Asked a year ago
A variety of expenses are eligible for reimbursement through WageWorks. These include qualified healthcare expenses such as doctor's visits, prescription medications, dental treatments, and vision care. Over-the-counter items that require a prescription are also eligible. Additionally, eligible expenses cover dependent care services, such as childcare or day camps, or adult/elder care. Commuter expenses for public transportation, parking fees, and vanpooling are eligible too. Furthermore, eligible expenses encompass workplace-related expenses, like work-related education and fees, uniforms or clothing required for work, and certain office supplies. Health and wellness expenses such as gym memberships or weight loss programs are also included, as well as certain limited purpose health insurance premiums. However, it is important to review the specifics of your employer's plan and consult the WageWorks website for a comprehensive list of eligible expenses.
