Transferring to a Crypto Wallet
There are two ways you can transfer coins on Uphold to your crypto wallet: via the mobile app and online (web wallet).
Mobile App Transfers
To make a transfer using the mobile app, follow the steps listed below.
- Open the Uphold app on your mobile device and log into your account.
- Tap the transfer icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select "From" to choose the cryptocurrency or fiat you are transferring.
- Enter the amount of the transfer.
- Tap "To" to pick the network or wallet you will be using for the transfer.
- Hit "Preview Withdrawal" to review the information before completing the transfer.
- Enter your wallet address (or scan the QR code for your private wallet) and hit "Confirm."
- From your 2FA app, enter the six-digit code.
- Submit your transfer request to complete the process.
Web Based Transfers
To make a web-based (web wallet transfer) follow the steps outlined here.
- Open Uphold's website in your browser and log into your account.
- Navigate to the "Account" page.
- Select "Transfer Pane" in the options.
- Choose "From" to select the account you will be using for the transfer.
- Enter the amount of the withdrawal.
- Select "To" and choose a Crypto network.
- Preview the withdrawal information before moving on to the next step.
- Input the information for your private web wallet, and select "Confirm withdrawal."
- Using your authentication app, enter the six-digit 2FA code and submit.
Transfers can take anywhere from three to seven business days depending on the type transfer, the amount and the networks. Also, it is very important to make sure you are entering the correct web wallet address. Using a QR code is recommended when possible to alleviate the dangers or inputting incorrect web wallet information.
