What are Thumbtack's refund and cancellation policies?

Thumbtack's refund and cancellation policies are designed to ensure a fair and reliable experience for both customers and professionals. If a customer decides to cancel a project before any work has begun, they are entitled to a full refund of any money paid. However, if work has already commenced, the refund will be determined on a case-by-case basis. For professionals, they have the option to cancel a request without any penalty within 24 hours of receiving it. After that, a cancellation fee may be applied. Thumbtack also offers a satisfaction guarantee for customers, where if they are not satisfied with the quality of work provided, they can request a refund or work with the professional to reach a resolution.
