How to Report an Issue with Target Delivery?

If your Target order is damaged or never arrived at all, you probably want to report the problem to someone who can do something about it. If you placed your order with a particular Target location, talk to the manager there. If you placed your order with Target online, call one of the company's customer service representatives. If Target says that the problem is not their fault, make the report to the shipping company.

If your Target order never arrived, or if it was damaged when it did, you probably want to report the problem to someone to find out what happened or even to get a refund. To learn the best way to do that, just keep reading this article.

Does Target Have a Dedicated Contact for Complaints?

Target doesn't have any contact method specifically dedicated to complaints, either online or by phone. There are a couple of different people you could report your delivery problem to.

If You Placed Your Order from a Particular Target Store

If your order was shipped from a particular Target location, such as your local one, then contact the manager of that location. They should be able to find out if the problem originated in the store or was the result of something that happened during shipping. If the manager isn't available, ask for their office number and call back later instead of talking to someone who may not be able to fix the problem.

If You Placed Your Order With Target Online

If you placed your order with Target's online store, or if you spoke to the store manager you ordered from but were not satisfied, contact a Target customer service representative and explain the problem to them. You can contact one on the Target help forum, chat, or customer service email, or by phone.

You May Need to Report the Problem to the Shipper

You might need to make your report to the shipper rather than to Target. If Target says that your purchase was shipped out on time and in an undamaged state, you should contact the shipping company that handled your order. You should be able to find out who that was by looking in the confirmation email for your order. If you can't find it, ask a Target customer service representative.

Theft

Of course, it's also possible that your package was delivered on time and that somebody then stole it before you could find it. There's likely nothing you can do if that's the case. You can file a police report, but they probably can't do anything unless you have one of those doorbell cameras.
