Can I send direct messages to other users?

Asked a year ago
Yes, you can send direct messages to other users on Slack. Direct messaging allows you to have private conversations with individuals or small groups. To send a direct message, simply navigate to the "Direct Messages" section on the left sidebar, click on the "+" button, and enter the username of the person you want to message. You can also search for users or select them from the list of suggested contacts. Once you have selected the desired user, a new message window will open where you can type and send your message. Direct messages are a quick and efficient way to communicate privately with your colleagues or collaborators within the Slack platform.
