How Do I Reset My Netgear Password?

Changing Your Netgear Password Online

To change your Netgear password on your desktop or laptop, follow these instructions:

1. Go to the Netgear home page.
2. Hover your cursor over the Sign In icon in the navigation bar at the top of the screen. A drop-down menu will appear.
3. Click on Sign In.
4. Click on the Forgot Password? link.
5. Enter your Netgear account email address in the text field provided.
6. Complete the CAPTCHA.
7. Click on Reset Password.
8. Check your email for the password reset email Netgear sent you.
9. Copy the verification code from the email.
10. Enter the code.
11. Enter a new password.
12. Confirm the password.
13. Click on Submit.

Changing Your Netgear Orbi App Password

If you have Netgear's Orbi app, you can change your Orbi app password by following these instructions:

1. Launch the app.
2. Tap on Forgot Your Password?
3. Enter your Orbi account email address.
4. Follow steps 7 through 13 of the instructions given above.

Changing Your Netgear Router Password

To change the password of your Netgear router, take these steps:
