Can I receive feedback or updates on my MedWatch report?

Asked a year ago
Yes, you can receive feedback or updates on your MedWatch report. Once you have submitted a report through the MedWatch Online Voluntary Reporting Form or by mail, the information is reviewed and assessed by the FDA (Food and Drug Administration). If the FDA deems it necessary to obtain more information, they may contact you for clarification or additional details. However, please note that due to a high volume of reports, it may not be possible to provide individual feedback on all reports. If the FDA takes regulatory action or issues safety alerts related to a medication or medical device mentioned in your report, you may be notified through public announcements. Therefore, while individual feedback may not always be possible, the FDA ensures any necessary actions are taken based on the information provided.
