Navigate to the Manage Security Settings section on your account summary page and select authentication from the menu.

The Setup Process for Adding Two-Factor Authentication

Click on the Manage Security Settings section on your account summary page. You will see a screen that asks you to choose if you want to use text messages or verification codes with Google Authenticator. If text messages, click Yes and follow the next steps. If not, click No and continue.

Enter your mobile phone number where prompted and select which method of verification code generation would be best for you.

If SMS is your option for receiving two-factor authentication codes sent via text messages, enter your mobile phone number again for confirmation.
