Another option is to file a claim and receive a refund. Before contacting FedEx, review the photo proof of delivery first to see where the package was dropped off. It’s also a good idea to check with neighbors and household members, as someone else may have received the item on your behalf. Enter your login credentials and click Log In. If you don’t remember your user ID or password, select Forgot User ID or Password and enter your email address to receive a code for resetting your password.
Before reporting a missing parcel, we suggest you track the package again for any updates. To track a package, enter the tracking number. Then, click Track.
Before continuing, be sure to confirm that you have checked all locations, and the item still isn't there. Just fill out the form completely and provide your contact information. FedEx will use your email address or phone number to update you on the status of the missing package.

Click Single Claim if you're submitting a claim for one package, or Batch Claim to submit multiple claims.
Enter your tracking number and select a claim type. Then, click Continue.
You can continue checking the updates on your package, or scroll down to the Claim Details section to complete all required claim information.
To strengthen your claim, we recommend uploading photos of the item and proof of its value. Click Browse to upload the images, then select Continue to proceed.
Next, go to the Your Information tab and provide a contact email address or phone number that FedEx can use to reach you regarding the status of your claim. Be sure to review all details carefully before submitting your claim. After submission, wait for FedEx to contact you or track the status of your claim by visiting the Reports tab.
You can also notify FedEx as soon as the first day your package goes missing by starting a support ticket. The process is similar; you’ll need to track your package and select Start Support Ticket. This option will appear once your shipment is eligible for a support request.
Both the recipient and the shipper can report a missing package to FedEx or file a claim. Be sure to have all supporting documents, including purchase receipts. Providing photos of the item can also help strengthen your claim and improve the chances of a favorable resolution.
