How does Clear work?

Asked a year ago
Clear works by using biometric technology to verify your identity and expedite the security process at participating airports and stadiums. To enroll in Clear, you provide your personal information and then visit a Clear enrollment center where your fingerprints and irises are scanned to create a unique biometric profile. Once enrolled, you can use Clear lanes at security checkpoints to bypass the traditional ID verification process, allowing you to go directly to the physical screening. At airports, Clear members still need to go through the standard TSA screening, but the biometric identification speeds up the initial document check. Clear's technology aims to provide a faster and more efficient experience, reducing wait times and enhancing security for its members.
