You can return most Bloomingdale's purchases within 90 days and receive a full refund, as long as the items are still in saleable condition. Final Offer items and many designer brands must be returned within 30 days. Area rugs and pre-owned watches must be returned within 14 days. Furniture returned for preference reasons must be returned within three days. Items that came with a b-tag attached must still have the b-tag attached to qualify for return. Some special orders come with fees that are non-refundable.
Bloomingdale's will apply your refund to the gift card you used to make the purchase. If you no longer have that gift card, you will receive a new gift card with the refund amount on it.
How to Return Something to Bloomingdale's by Mail
To return your purchase by mail, follow these steps:
1. Go to Bloomingdale's Easy Returns page.
2. Either click on the Sign In button and locate the order you want to return or enter the order number in the order number text field.
3. Click on the Return Items button.
4. Fill out the Returns form.
5. Verify that you have filled out all of the fields correctly.
6. Submit the form.
7. Print out the confirmation page.
8. Print out the shipping label.
9. Pack up your return.
10. Put the confirmation page in the package.
11. Attach the shipping label.
12. Find a convenient UPS location with the UPS locator tool.
13. Take the package to the UPS location and ship it.
You should receive your refund within three business days of the day Bloomingdale's receives your return.
