What happens if I lose or damage a rented movie?

Asked a year ago
If you lose or damage a rented movie from Blockbuster, you will be responsible for purchasing a replacement copy of the movie. We understand that accidents can happen, so we highly recommend opting for our optional rental insurance program. This program covers any damage or loss of rented movies at an affordable monthly fee. By enrolling in this program, you can avoid the cost of purchasing a replacement copy and simply pay a small deductible instead. However, if you choose not to participate in our rental insurance program, you will be liable for the full retail price of the movie. Please handle our movies with care and consider the rental insurance program to ensure a worry-free movie rental experience.
