What does BTK stand for?

Asked a year ago
BTK stands for "Bind, Torture, Kill." BTK is the nickname given to the notorious serial killer who terrorized Wichita, Kansas, from the 1970s to the 1990s. This moniker is derived from the killer's modus operandi, which involved binding, torturing, and ultimately killing his victims. BTK's real identity remained unknown for several decades, escalating fear and concern within the community. However, in 2005, Dennis Rader was arrested and subsequently identified as the BTK killer. He confessed to ten murders committed between 1974 and 1991, providing gruesome details of his crimes. BTK became a synonymous term for this sadistic killer and remains an infamous and chilling part of criminal history.
