What happens if I lose my device with 1Password installed?

Asked a year ago
If you lose your device with 1Password installed, don't worry—your sensitive information will still be secure. 1Password relies on end-to-end encryption, so even if someone gets hold of your lost device, they won't be able to access your data without your Master Password. To regain access to your 1Password account on a new device, simply install the app and sign in with your account credentials. Your data will be synced from the cloud, ensuring that everything is up to date. If you have enabled two-factor authentication, which is highly recommended, you will need to verify your identity using a trusted device or a 1Password account recovery code. In case you suspect your device is lost permanently, you can use 1Password's remote data deletion feature to remove all data from that device, providing an additional layer of security and peace of mind.
