I purchased item number 26-09[redacted]2 on August 24, [redacted]. It was a car part that was fixed, but unfortunately, it failed after only a month and 20 days. I had to replace the part again, incurring additional costs. Despite my request, the seller refused to accept the return. I believe eBay should not allow sellers to offer substandard and faulty products that end up costing buyers more. I have previously reported a stolen mobile phone sold on eBay which resulted in a loss, and now I am considering legal action through a solicitor. eBay's guarantee seems to only cover a short period, leaving buyers vulnerable to fraudulent sellers. I intend to raise awareness through newspapers and social media to prompt the government to take action against such sellers and eBay's platform. Hello, I connected with your customer service team over the phone on Monday, October 24th. I spoke with a representative named "AJ". I initiated a return and received a partial refund on October 21st, which was only 50% of the expected amount. My order with "samsfishingdirect" on September 30th was for two fishing reels totaling £79.90. Due to one being faulty, the seller could only deliver one reel and refunded me £39.95 on October 4th. Upon receiving the single reel, it was missing parts, so I returned it. The seller acknowledged the return on October 21st with a refund of £19.98, not the full £39.95 as promised by "AJ". Despite assurances for a resolution from "AJ", no further communication or correct refund has been received. Attempts to contact the seller have been unsuccessful. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

Username: bazkar-bingo I have an item listed on eBay for local collection only. The buyer, stst_5407, mistakenly believes he has paid, when in fact, no payment has been received in my Paypal account. He is now requesting a refund. I have messaged him to clarify the situation, but he seems confused about the local collection terms. He is now asking about additional payment for mailing the item. Can someone assist in letting stst_5407 know that payment has not been made and the item is for local collection only? Thank you.

I recently sold item number [redacted]41 to buyer 16923newquay. The item was in good condition and perfect working order. The buyer reported issues with the player powering off after 45 seconds. I suggested trying a different power cord, but the buyer insisted on returning it. Upon receiving it back, I connected it with the original power cord and it worked perfectly as expected. The buyer claims to have tried multiple cords, but if the fuse values are incorrect, it won't work. I offered to cover the return costs, but the buyer remains uncooperative. I feel unfairly treated as the buyer's misuse caused the problem. I have limited funds and request to cancel the return process.

I purchased a wetsuit from woollkay on eBay, (order number 26-09[redacted]0). The wetsuit was listed as a ladies size 12 but I received a child's size instead, with a hole that was undisclosed. I reached out to the seller requesting a refund per the Consumer Act [redacted] but was met with a closed return request on eBay. Despite my attempts, the seller has not responded. I believe the seller not allowing returns violates the law. My negative feedback about this issue was removed by eBay, and I feel frustrated by their bias towards sellers. I am requesting eBay's assistance in reinstating my feedback and providing a refund for the misrepresented wetsuit. I recently listed a handbag for sale on eBay for the first time. After setting the price, there was a long period of no activity before it was eventually sold for much less than my asking price. Since I wasn't willing to sell at that price, I removed the item. However, I later found out that the buyer had already paid, resulting in eBay issuing them a refund on my behalf. I am unsure if I have received the payment as I believe eBay does not have my bank details. I am unsure where the money went or if eBay still holds it. I have been trying to contact eBay for assistance, but it has been challenging. Despite speaking with a representative from a distant location and agreeing to a repayment plan, the issue remains unresolved. My account has been suspended, and I am stuck in a frustrating cycle trying to reach someone for help. The amount in question is only £23.00, but I am desperate for a resolution.

Hello, I am a seller. A buyer purchased a Cloud Nine Waving Wand from me for £46, including postage and packaging. Even though I stated collection only in the description, the buyer still made the purchase. I asked if she could collect the item since she lives 20 minutes away, but she couldn't due to my broken ankle. I then offered to have my son drive to drop off the item at her house, but she requested canceling the payment and paying at her door, which I found challenging. Subsequently, she reported me on eBay, so I followed the cancellation process. However, she messaged me bluntly as she hadn't received her refund yet. Dear EBay, I recently purchased food spices from your platform, including drowned shrimp powder and two other seasonings. Despite the products having an expiry date for next year, upon opening the shrimp powder and using it in my cooking, I noticed an unusual smell. Upon further inspection, I discovered a strong ammonia odor emanating from the packet. Additionally, one of the other seasoning items showed visible signs of aging on the seeds. I intend to file a returns claim regarding this issue, as I am concerned about the quality of the items received. It appears that the seller may be engaging in unethical practices by possibly selling expired or subpar products. I urge you to investigate this matter thoroughly. It would be beneficial if you could handle the return process directly and communicate with the seller to ensure stricter guidelines are in place to prevent customers from being misled into purchasing unsafe food items. I purchased 4 "USB" heaters from seller xiaolinglee ([redacted]) with item number [redacted]19 for £62.60. Only 2 arrived on November 4th, and they are not USB as described. I have contacted the seller but only received assurances that the rest are in the post. I have clearly stated that I do not want them and expect a refund, as the listing was misleading. I am disappointed with the lack of understanding from the seller. I urge eBay to call me back at [redacted]8 as I am unable to reach them despite numerous attempts. It's frustrating and I feel like I am speaking a different language.

I experienced difficulties logging into my eBay account last week, so I proceeded to make a purchase as a guest user, utilizing the same email address, [redacted], for the guest account as my original eBay account. The wireless mouse I purchased as a guest has turned out to be defective and is not functioning properly. Hello, I require assistance regarding a purchase I made on eBay for a John Lewis Special Edition sewing machine, JL110SE PINK, which cost £84.99. Unfortunately, the item arrived damaged, and the seller requested I return it. I insisted the seller arrange the collection due to the damage, but she initially declined. Eventually, she claimed to have set up collection with Royal Mail, providing an address label. However, when the postman arrived, he stated he did not have the label and could not take the package. Despite informing the seller, she insists she has done all she can. Dealing with the passing of my brother last week and falling victim to a scam that affected my bank account has left me under considerable stress. I am facing issues with tracking my purchases and urgently need to check the details of the seller for the JUDITH WILLIAMS LIFE LONG NECK AND DECOLLETE CREAM 100ml. I regularly purchase items, especially when the prices are enticing, even if I already have a few of the same item. I bid on the mentioned cream and was the sole bidder. The seller asked me to complete the purchase, which I did. However, upon opening the item, instead of the expected cream, a liquid resembling milk squirted out of the tube. I have been using this product for over twenty years and am deeply disappointed by this deceptive seller. I urge for a prompt investigation and demand a refund from the seller. This incident has left me outraged, and if not addressed seriously, it may lead me to cease recommending eBay to others due to such dishonest sellers. Thank you.

I returned an item to the seller on 24th October because it was not as described. After returning from holiday, I realized I hadn't received a refund. When I contacted the seller, they asked for the tracking number, which I provided. Then, they requested a copy of the receipt of posting. Despite all this, they continued to question the return. Even after confirming they received and signed for the item two days after posting, the refund was still withheld. This lack of responsibility on their part and the delay in issuing the refund has left me frustrated. The item was misrepresented in its functionality as well. Due to this experience, I have decided not to do business with this company in the future, and I advise others to do the same.

I recently received a request from Knessdasi company to leave a 5-star rating and feedback, which jogged my memory about not having received my item. Despite my numerous orders, they insisted the item was delivered, even though I confirmed it was not. I politely asked for a refund, but they only sent a delivery confirmation message. I find it unfair to be asked for feedback, let alone a 5-star rating, under these circumstances. I believe they do not deserve it.
