My Twitter account got suspended because they thought I was under 13, even though I'm 19. I sent my passport and tried to send my driver's license, but they said the passport picture wasn't valid. However, the link to upload documents wasn't working. I haven't received any response in over 30 days, and now my account is gone. I can't accept that they won't reinstate it. I won't make a new one after putting in years of work on my current account.

I am reaching out about the suspended account @thatheartselena. Selena did not intentionally harm her audience; her tweets are simply for entertainment. Despite this, people are consistently reporting and targeting her for merely being authentic, which is unfair. I am hopeful that some action can be taken to restore her account, as there is no stolen content involved, and all posts are original creations.

I recently added my birthdate to my Twitter account, indicating June 8, [redacted]. Shortly after, I was locked out of my account with the message: “Your account is locked Christian @CMAN700 Our Terms of Service require everyone to be 13 years or older to use Twitter, and it seems you did not meet the minimum age requirement when this account was created. For more information and to explore the possibility of regaining access to your account, please fill out this form.” The form requests a government-issued ID containing my birthdate, full name, and a photo to unlock my account, but being 15, I do not have one. What steps should I take to regain access to my Twitter account? Thank you for your assistance. -Christian G.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to inquire about verifying our Recruitment Twitter Account, @BAES_Careers_SA. As the Recruitment Manager at BAE Systems Saudi Arabia, we have a large following and believe having a verified account would add credibility. While I am aware that public submissions for verifications are currently on hold, I am uncertain if this applies to business accounts. Is there any additional information we can provide to move forward with verification? Thank you for your attention to this matter, and I anticipate your response. Sincerely, Hassan Alhargan HR Manager Recruitment - SBDCP AlShaheen - Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

I got locked out of my account due to an age restriction. I tried to change my birthday after realizing it was incorrect and now I am unable to access my account. Despite trying to reach out for help through the provided phone number and email, I've had no success as there seems to be no customer service available. I am concerned that I may have selected the wrong reason for being locked out, and now I am unable to fill out any forms or tickets as it requires me to log in - which I can't do. The message I see states that they are working on a solution for accounts locked due to age restrictions and that additional requests will not be reviewed. I am willing to provide my parent's ID if necessary, but I am unable to find a way to contact Twitter for assistance.

I made an error when creating my account, selecting the wrong age category, resulting in the account being suspended for potential underage violation. I am currently 18 years old and originally created the account when I was on the brink of turning 13. My presence on Twitter is vital for networking, as I have cultivated a substantial following including colleagues from my internship. Twitter serves as my primary news source and a platform for sending birthday wishes to friends rather than active tweeting. Given my age and track record of law-abiding behavior on the platform, I hope to resolve this issue promptly without the need to start over with a new account. I emphasize the proximity of my age to the account creation date, underscoring the minimal impact a few months' difference in age would have. Your understanding is greatly appreciated, as this matter holds significant implications for my internship.

Hello, I am writing to address an issue with my Twitter account. Recently, I attempted to update my birth year and my account was locked. I originally created this account in May [redacted] when I was younger, but I am currently over the age of 13 as required by Twitter. I have been trying to change my birth year for two years without success. After finally discovering how to do so, I was frustrated to learn that it resulted in my account being locked. I have completed the required form, indicating that my parent is aware and has given permission. I have even submitted her ID as requested. However, from what I have read online, many others have not had their requests approved. I want to emphasize that I have been using this account since May [redacted], and it is now July [redacted]. I am reluctant to create a new account and lose all my existing data. I sincerely hope for your understanding and assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you for your attention. Hello, this is Nancy Quinonez, the owner of the @naancyqnz Twitter account. I am reaching out regarding the suspension of my account. Recently, I entered my birthday on Twitter, which led to my account being locked due to age restriction issues. I had originally created my account in [redacted] when I was 12 years old, not meeting the age requirement at that time. Despite not using Twitter much back then, over the past 7 years, I have significantly grown my account and cherish the memories made on it. It is concerning that even now, at 18 years old, my account is being suspended based on incorrect age details. I would greatly appreciate any information on the duration of the suspension or any steps I can take to resolve this matter. Thank you. - Nancy Quinonez

I have made numerous attempts to deactivate my account, following the instructions on the site without success. Every time I log back in, it becomes activated again, creating a frustrating cycle. I am requesting for you to deactivate my account from your end. Once completed, please notify me via email, enabling me to start a 30-day countdown until I consider reactivating it. I have screenshots of users I intend to follow. You can contact me at [redacted] My username is simon457698. Your assistance is greatly appreciated as this issue has persisted for nearly 3-4 weeks due to unsuccessful deactivation attempts following your guidelines resulting in error messages. Best regards.

Hello, I am reaching out regarding Case# [redacted]3. I would like to deactivate my Twitter account @stephaniecrum4 for professional purposes. The email linked to the account is [redacted] Shepherd University underwent an update in [redacted]/[redacted] that modified email addresses to @rams.shepherd.edu. Previously, emails sent to @shepherd.edu would automatically redirect to @rams.shepherd.edu, but this is no longer the case. I am currently locked out of my account due to this issue and have emailed a screenshot (see case ID) illustrating that emails used to forward to the @rams.shepherd.edu address for @shepherd.edu emails. Can you please assist me in deactivating this account? Thank you for your help. I am looking forward to your response.

I've been locked out again, which makes it the third time. Calling politicians names shouldn't lead to this, especially since I had over [redacted] followers who shared my opinions. I never threatened anyone or posted inappropriate content, just used strong language occasionally. Unfortunately, I can't unlock my account because I don't have a cell phone for SMS verification, and Twitter doesn't support landline numbers. I feel Twitter is unfairly targeting me due to my political stance. I even reached out to a lawyer for help with this issue. As a disabled Veteran, it's disheartening not to be able to express my views on a platform where others can freely do so. UPDATE: I've spoken to someone considering a class action against social media companies for a more affordable approach. Hopefully, I'll hear back soon. Today, my account shows zero followers, and I can't tweet or follow anyone because my account is suspended. On July 25th, I tried to reach out to Twitter, but my account remains suspended. The continuous issues are frustrating, and if not resolved, legal action may be necessary to protect my right to free speech.

I recently tried to update my Twitter birth year to [redacted] to reflect my actual birth year. Initially, I had entered [redacted] as I was underage when I first created my Twitter account. Now, at 18, I have been using the same account for years and do not wish to lose all my data. Twitter has locked me out of my account for over a week, assuring me they will address the issue, but I am feeling frustrated by the delay. Twitter is a platform I turn to for comfort and entertainment during anxious moments or when I'm bored. I sincerely hope that Twitter can resolve this matter promptly so that I can continue using the app without any disruptions. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty accessing my Twitter account. After updating my birthdate to February 17th, [redacted], I realized that the account was locked due to being created when I was under 13, although I was only 12 at the time. I am now 17 and have submitted the necessary forms to regain access. Despite being told that Twitter will be in contact, I have not received any communication. Twitter is crucial for me to stay connected with friends and stay informed about current events. Reinstating my account is important to me as I am now well above the required age for use. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am Lillian K. (@lilly_bug2) and I am 18 years old. Last week, while trying to update my birthday on Twitter, I accidentally entered the wrong date. This resulted in my account getting locked as it seemed like I created the account when I was under thirteen. To unlock it, Twitter requested an email from a parent or guardian to confirm their consent. My mom is comfortable filling out the necessary forms but is not keen on sharing her government I.D. Since I am legally an adult, I wonder why this information is needed from my parent. Is there a way to regain access to my account without involving her personal details? Thank you for your assistance.

I recently got locked out of my twitter account for updating my birth year to reflect that I am now 17. Despite being old enough to have an account, Twitter has not resolved the issue even after I reported it. While some users were able to provide photo ID for verification, this option hasn't been offered to me. My account appears to be inaccessible to others as it says it "doesn't exist." I'm eager to regain access soon and feel frustrated at the lack of swift action from Twitter. Though they promised updates via email, I have yet to receive any communication after one day. I hope Twitter can swiftly address this situation by restoring full access to my account, even if it means clearing tweets prior to my 13th birthday. Thank you for your assistance!

I have been trying to deactivate my Twitter account for at least 3-4 weeks now. Following the instructions on Twitter does not work. It keeps saying sorry oops and then I log out. When I email Twitter at [redacted] with the username simon457698, I get a reply thanking me for reactivating my account. I try to request deactivation but receive an auto-response saying no reply is allowed. Can you deactivate my account from your end and confirm to me through email? I'm having trouble doing it myself due to this email loop. Thank you.

I recently switched from an old computer to a new one with Windows 7. An IT professional transferred my data and some apps to the new computer from my backup. My Twitter handle is @RNS__CIP. However, Twitter doesn't seem to recognize the new computer's address, so it still sends notifications to my old email address, [redacted], which was used on the old computer. Unfortunately, I can't use the site properly to post or engage in activities. I'm struggling to get this fixed online as I only run into a loop and can't find a way to contact Twitter directly. My account is related to foreign and national security matters, and I am listed as the manager and Principal on Twitter. Even using my full name, Harry C. Blaney III, it says it's associated with another account. I urgently need help with this situation since the previous technical assistance I had is unavailable this time. Please contact me at the above Twitter handle. I also encountered issues trying to update my old Firefox program on the new computer. Thank you for your assistance.

My account has been temporarily locked because when I originally created it at the age of 12, I didn't accurately state my age. Over the past 6 years, I have used this account without any issues. It holds immense sentimental value for me as it has been my main mode of communication with my favorite artist, @matthunter123. I have saved many cherished moments on this account, including the day he followed me back. Today, I received a notification that he had replied to one of my tweets, a rare occurrence, which made my heart race. Unfortunately, I couldn't read his response as my account was locked. I am struggling not to cry because this account is incredibly important to me, and I am desperate to have it restored to its original state.

I am reaching out to request the removal of an account named @RealZygaj, which is impersonating me. The account was created years ago by my high school classmates who posted inappropriate content under my name. As I am in the process of job hunting, I am concerned about these old tweets reflecting poorly on me. Despite filing reports with Twitter twice, no action has been taken. I kindly ask for the prompt deletion of this account to alleviate my worries. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

During a sleepover with friends, I allowed one friend to use my phone, and he misused it by posting embarrassing content on my social media accounts. He also altered my account settings, causing me to face issues with Twitter due to age restrictions. Despite having my guardian's permission to have a Twitter account, he changed my birth year, resulting in a ban. I caught him in the act of creating a fake email account in an attempt to fix the situation, but he was unsuccessful. Now, I'm struggling to contact Twitter support as a guardian form keeps appearing whenever I try. I would appreciate any assistance with resolving this matter promptly.
