I have not received any refund from WestJet for the cancellation of the flight from Montreal on January 13, [redacted]. Most of the travelers in our group received their refunds except for me, Nicole M., traveling with Helene M. I had to contact WestJet multiple times with no response this morning. I responded to the message sent by WestJet regarding my claim under the Air Passenger Protection Regulations but have not received any funds. While the customer service representatives claimed the refund was sent, I have not seen it. My companion received four messages from WestJet explaining the process. Please call me back at [redacted].

My daughter flew with Westjet in August last year, and upon arrival, her suitcase was damaged. We submitted a claim online, and in February [redacted], we received an email from Westjet with reference number YWGWS15377. The compensation offered was insufficient and had conditions that required my daughter to fly with Westjet again within 12 months or pay CAD [redacted] for replacement luggage, reimbursement only with a receipt. The damaged suitcase, a Samsonite spinner, was confirmed to cost GBP [redacted] by Aldridges. I have followed up with Westjet on February 12th and reiterated that a minimum of GBP [redacted] compensation without a receipt is acceptable. I provided the purchase receipt from [redacted] showing the suitcase cost GBP [redacted].4 and forwarded all necessary information to Westjet. My concerns include the delay in responding to the claim, the restrictive conditions on compensation tied to future flights, and the inadequate compensation linked to purchasing a new suitcase.

On February 9, [redacted], during WS [redacted] from Regina to Calgary, my husband and I were traveling to Nanaimo for my sister's funeral. We kept my husband's dress coat on the empty seat beside us. Upon deplaning in Calgary, I noticed a wet oily brown stain on the coat's upper sleeve. Despite trying to remove it with various methods, including a Tide pen, the stain remained. The knee-length Jones New York dress coat, previously clean, is now ruined. We believe it picked up the stain during the plane trip. We seek compensation for the damaged coat and have photographic evidence of the staining.

I had a flight scheduled from Vancouver to Regina on December 19th with Reservation Code XPLOQLA, but it got canceled because WestJet did not have enough staff. I ended up stuck in Vancouver and needed a hotel room. Despite waiting in line for 11 hours, WestJet staff informed me that they couldn't help me find a hotel or provide a cab voucher. My flight on the 21st was also canceled due to a winter storm, and WestJet only handed out a form with a link for reimbursement of new flights and hotels. The expenses for the five days I spent in Vancouver, including rebooked flights and hotels, totaled around $1,[redacted]. WestJet employees assured me that I would be reimbursed, but I recently received an email stating otherwise. I am seeking reimbursement promptly and also believe I am entitled to an additional $1,[redacted] compensation for the original delay that lasted over 9 hours. I urge WestJet to honor their promises and settle this matter by reimbursing me as soon as possible.

My flight from YYC to YVR was delayed for uncontrollable reasons, which was understandable. However, upon arrival in YVR, there was no one available to assist passengers who had missed their connecting flights, myself included. I was downgraded to economy after paying for Premium Economy, causing me significant stress both emotionally and physically as I rushed between gates with my medical conditions. While some guests received compensation in the form of coupons, I only received a downgrade to the next available flight to my final destination. This experience with WestJet, whom I have always flown with, was the worst I have ever had.

An employee at the Halifax airport named Dawn, residing at 10 Kennedy Drive in Dartmouth, NS, has taken my driver's license. Despite leaving messages with the lost baggage department and contacting customer service multiple times, I have not received a response. On January 31, after speaking with a customer service representative, they mentioned reaching out to supervisors in Halifax. If I don't hear back within a week, I was advised to report the incident to the police. "Dawn" later contacted me, claiming she mailed my license on January 31. My ticket reservation is LICTXX. I'm seeking a callback from a supervisor since my attempts to connect with them have been unsuccessful despite spending nearly 40 minutes on hold.

My spouse and I had a flight booked from Toronto to Vancouver departing on February 23rd, [redacted], at 9 am (Flight number: WS [redacted]) and a return flight from Vancouver to Toronto on February 27th, [redacted], at 5:05 pm (Flight number: WS [redacted]). Our flight for tomorrow was canceled, and we were given a new suggested flight for February 25th, [redacted], at 12 pm (Flight number: WS [redacted]). This unexpected change has been very inconvenient for us. We have flight insurance and will be submitting an APPR claim for $[redacted] per person due to the lengthy delay. As a result, our stay in Toronto has been extended by 2 days, and we would like to request a refund for this additional stay. Additionally, we were unable to reach Vancouver on time, leading to a missed stay there. We are seeking a refund for that portion as well. I am hoping to speak with a representative regarding these matters.

I made a flight reservation with WestJet for a trip from Vancouver to Prince George, British Columbia on January 18, [redacted], but encountered issues as WestJet had no record of my ticket when I arrived for my flight on February 4, [redacted]. I had to buy a last-minute ticket to travel. I also noticed an additional unauthorized charge by WestJet for a flight booked for February 18, which was not made in my name. I contacted WestJet, and they are investigating this potentially fraudulent charge. Upon reviewing my credit card statements, I realized I was charged $[redacted].20 for the original flight I booked on January 18, although no ticket was issued. Despite the ongoing investigation into the fraudulent charge, I face difficulties addressing the unauthorized charges as there is no ticket number associated with them. Upon checking in at Pearson Airport on February 26th, a situation arose where one of our check-in bags was not tagged. Despite informing the staff member, the bag was not tagged properly. We possess air tags on our luggage. Upon reaching Roatan, we realized the bag was missing. Henry was approached, and he promised to have it sent by Sunwing or the next WestJet flight. Unfortunately, Henry is currently unreachable by phone, and attempts to enter the baggage number have been unsuccessful as the system indicates it is invalid.

My husband and I have been WestJet members for years. Unfortunately, he recently had a stroke and is in the hospital awaiting surgery. We need to cancel our March 22nd trip and were unaware of the Econo Flex option. We heard there might be a $[redacted] fee to change or cancel. We can't travel right now but plan to book for May. Can you waive the cancellation fee considering our medical emergency? Our reservation code is DDJNAZ. Thank you.

I attempted to navigate the Westjet customer telephone system today but unfortunately encountered failure and frustration. In light of this, I tried using the "We'll Call You Back" service, following the instructions, but was still unable to complete the process. The reason for reaching out to Westjet is regarding our rewards account overview, which shows a "Next Expiry Date" of March 16th, [redacted]. Our flight was canceled in Calgary, and we had to find our own way back to Thunder Bay. We booked a flight to Kamloops and then drove to Kelowna. Two days later, WestJet misplaced our luggage, and by the time we retrieved it, there were no available flights until the following day. Once in Kelowna, we took an Air Canada redeye flight to Toronto and then to Thunder Bay. When our flight was canceled in Calgary, the earliest they could get us home was March 5th, even though all this occurred on February 24th.

Hello, my baggage didn't arrive with me on my connecting flight last night, and I need to file a baggage claim. Unfortunately, I misplaced my boarding pass which had the baggage number on it. My name is Cassidy Webb, and yesterday I flew from Winnipeg to Toronto on flight WS520, then from Toronto to Punta Cana on flight WS2768. The bag was checked in at Winnipeg airport around 3:00 am local time. Could you please help me by retrieving the baggage number for the bag checked in under the name Cassidy Webb at Winnipeg? I reserved five tickets for a Vancouver to Edmonton flight on April 30 through book.com. Today, I realized the flight time shifted from 8:30 am to 7:00 am. Unfortunately, this new time of 7:00 am does not suit my schedule as I need to return a rental car in the morning. With the 7:00 am flight, I would have to return the car by 5:00 am, but the rental store is not open at that hour. I kindly request to adjust the flight time to 10:00 am as an alternative. I contacted book.com, and they advised me to reach out to WestJet as they are unable to assist with changes.

Delta changed our flight from one stop to two stops, and as a result, my pre-selected seats were removed from my itinerary. I paid an additional $[redacted].50 for specific seats, but now I see that no seats are selected on the website. I need my seats reinstated or a refund of the $[redacted].50. Our original seat numbers for the first leg were 4D & E, and for the second leg, they were 4C & D. My contact number at home is [redacted]. Our departure from Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo to Calgary on February 25th was scheduled for 16:45, but faced significant delays. Our boarding passes had to be handwritten due to no internet service at the airport. Upon arrival in Calgary, a luggage issue further delayed us. The gate was closed upon reaching it, causing confusion on how to board. The customer service experience with WestJet was unpleasant, with unhelpful staff. Our flight was delayed again due to overloading, resulting in a long wait and no sleep. It took 4 days to retrieve our luggage. The lack of communication and treatment during this experience was disappointing. Attempts to file a complaint online were unsuccessful due to internet issues on their end. We are seeking compensation for these multiple inconveniences.

I have $[redacted].80 in WestJet Travel Bank funds due to seat purchases in August [redacted]. The flight from Calgary to Moncton was changed, leaving me with a useless travel bank as WestJet is canceling Moncton flights. I aim to have the money for the seat purchases refunded promptly since they were not credited. My WestJet Reward Number ID is [redacted]64. It is unfair for WestJet to keep these funds, especially when they can no longer provide services from my local airport. Reservation code: ZLIGFC. I paid $20 for the Thunder Bay to Roatan segment and $[redacted] for the Toronto to Roatan segment to upgrade to premium for priority boarding, deplaning, and luggage handling. Unfortunately, our checked bags did not arrive in Roatan as expected, causing inconvenience. Despite excellent assistance from staff in reporting the issue, there was a delay in getting the luggage delivered. While the premium services were excellent, the priority luggage handling faltered. I kindly request a credit of WestJet dollars or travel credit for half of the upgrade cost, as my main reason for upgrading was not fully met. Thank you.

Due to my Crohn's Disease, I was unfortunately unable to make my early morning flight to Toronto as I was hospitalized. I am in urgent need of having my previous flight reservation status changed from "used" to "open" as I need to get back to Kingston, Ontario where my necessary medication is located. This change is crucial for me to receive the treatment I require to manage my condition and avoid serious health complications.
