I encountered a very unpleasant customer service experience at the Wendy's drive-thru on 50th and Central Avenue NE in Minneapolis, MN. While I admit to changing my order a couple of times due to my occasional visits, the agent was unhelpful and made disrespectful comments about me to the manager. I addressed this with the manager on duty, who responded rudely and suggested I come inside to order if unsure. As a paying customer, I found this treatment unacceptable. This experience has led me to remove this Wendy's location from my list of dining options. The lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff reflects poorly on Wendy's overall service standards.

Wendy's location # [redacted] experience on 12/28/[redacted]: My cashier, Izadia, also known as "Zay" on her uniform. Not all employees were in uniform that night. I arrived at 9pm to find both doors locked, lights on inside, and no customers present. Two other patrons were waiting outside with me. Two cars left because the doors were locked. A drive-thru customer revealed the store only operates through the drive-thru after 9pm, causing the confusion. "Zay" appeared puzzled by the locked doors and eventually let us in. The food service was slow, cold, and served with a negative demeanor. The drive-thru lady seemed accustomed to the after-hours procedure, unlike myself. The establishment was messy with food remnants, unclean tables, and dirty floors. I could not bring myself to use the restroom. Employees displayed unprofessional behavior, including a non-uniformed cook. The cleanliness issue reached a concerning level when an employee cleaned light fixtures above the food prep area concurrently with meal preparation, making us doubt the hygiene of our food. This Wendy's requires immediate attention and restructuring due to poor management and sanitation concerns. I have decided not to return due to the evident health hazards. After visiting a Wendy's location in Chicopee, MA, I purchased a 4 for $4 Double Stack with extra cheese and ketchup only. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The fries were cold, the Double Stack hamburger and cheese were both cold and not melted, and even the chicken nuggets were cold and seemed old. This has happened a few times in the past month when I've visited late at night, close to closing time. I usually visit Wendy's about three times a week, and this recent trend is concerning. I hope to see improvements in the future to avoid having to take my business elsewhere. The staff has always been friendly, which I appreciate. On a side note, I would like to suggest having yellow mustard available again. Thank you.

I went through the drive-thru today on 2-18-19 at 9:12 PM with my son because I was in extreme pain and hadn't eaten since 11am. Unable to cook, a burger seemed like the easiest option. However, the staff was rude while we were ordering, and we received a plain Sprite instead of the peach Sprite we asked for. The situation escalated when the staff member I spoke to insisted it was peach. Disappointed, I spoke to the manager inside, only to hear the staff member laughing loudly in the back, prompting me to raise my voice. As someone with a background in customer service, I value good service and give credit where it's due. Unfortunately, the unpleasant experience at this Wendy's location (Store #[redacted]3 at [redacted] 14th St W, Bradenton, FL) with Luis as the host and Jessica as the cashier has left me very dissatisfied. All I wanted was a hot meal, but I couldn't even eat it. I don't foresee myself returning to Wendy's anytime soon and will share my experience with others.

I just left Wendy's in Layton, UT. Unfortunately, I don't have the store number as they did not provide a receipt. Despite only one car in front of us, our $28.06 order took a very long time to be completed. When we received our order, we realized they forgot our dipping sauces, drinks, and Frostys. The drinks we did get were incorrect and not full, and the Frostys seemed to be spoiled. Even my boys, who usually eat anything, would not touch them. When we asked for our missing items, the staff member told me to calm down, even though I was perfectly calm. We also didn't receive enough straws and spoons. Despite these mistakes, the rest of the food was good as we generally enjoy Wendy's. I rarely complain, having worked in the fast food industry, but this experience was exceptionally poor in terms of errors and customer service. I simply wanted to bring this to someone's attention. While visiting Wendy's on Morse Rd in Columbus, Ohio, I recently purchased a Single & Fries through the drive-thru. Unfortunately, the Fries were not up to par and seemed old and lukewarm. This is not the first time I have experienced this issue when ordering through the drive-thru. It is frustrating to drive away, only to discover my Fries are not fresh. The cost of the Fries is too high for me to continue purchasing them if they are not of good quality. I will refrain from ordering Wendy's Fries until I can trust that they will be worth it. It is crucial that Fries are always served fresh considering their price. To address this issue, Wendy's should consider having freshly cooked Fries readily available for customers. At the moment, I do not plan on ordering them anymore.

I have lodged multiple complaints regarding my visits to several Wendy's locations. Sadly, I only received a response once. Despite my efforts, my other complaints were disregarded. It is disappointing to see how an independent owner represents the company in this manner. Due to the lack of feedback, I am left with no choice but to consider escalating my concerns to my bank. I will inform them about the unaddressed emails to Wendy's and seek a refund for my purchases. Each time I visit Wendy's, my order is consistently incorrect. I am unable to return items as I am on a time-constrained lunch break. When I ordered at the North Olmsted, OH location, my over $6 single combo meal had cheese missing and the salad was wilted and discolored. It was a complete waste of money. Despite reaching out via Facebook, I have received no assistance. It seems unlikely that I will get a response anytime soon, reflecting poorly on Wendy's customer service.

After enjoying lunch with our grandchild at their school cafeteria, we decided to visit Wendy's as requested. Although Wendy's claims their sandwiches are "made to order," our experience was far from that. Despite requesting fries without salt to ensure they were fresh, we received cold, greasy fries. Additionally, the hamburgers we ordered came with unexpected cheese and overly generous mayo, making the buns soggy. The lack of attention to our order was disappointing, and the overall experience was unsatisfactory. This visit to Wendy's store #[redacted]9 in Fort Mill, SC, has left us disheartened, and we have decided not to return. Our total spend of $24.70 feels wasted after this experience.

I recently started working at Wendy's in Plainview, TX two days ago. I was hired on the spot and mentioned that I have lupus and I'm undergoing chemotherapy, but I assured them I could still perform my duties. However, after going to eat at the restaurant on 3/7/19 with a friend and joking around with an employee who was working, I received a call at 5:16 PM alleging that I was rude to the cashier. I am shocked because I don't recall being rude. I would appreciate it if someone could reach out to me regarding this matter.

On Tuesday, 3/12/19 around noon, I had a frightening experience at the traffic light on Columbia Blvd, Titusville, FL near your store. A Wendy’s employee in uniform unexpectedly approached a car next to mine, opened the door, pulled the passenger out, hit her, yelled, and caused a scene. I called [redacted], but by the time I finished explaining, the car had driven off. As a heart patient with medical issues, this incident left me emotionally and physically shaken for the rest of the day. Today, I approached the manager, Chucc, at the same Wendy's location to address the incident. Despite my concerns, Chucc seemed to downplay the severity of the situation and only gave the employee a verbal warning. I worry about her unpredictable behavior and how it reflects on Wendy’s. I urge Wendy’s to reconsider the employee’s discipline, offer further training, and ensure the safety of customers. I hope for a response and request that my identity remain confidential to the Titusville staff for my safety. Thank you, Renee

In late February [redacted], I visited the Wendy’s on Park Avenue in Hershey, PA. I was hoping for a quick dinner after work by going through the drive-thru. I ordered a 10-piece chicken nugget meal, but they only had enough for a 4 for $4 deal, which would take 7 minutes to make. In a rush, I settled for the 4 for $4 with a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and a Strawberry Lemonade. However, when I got home, I realized they gave me a regular soda instead of the lemonade. The fries were cold and scarce, and the burger was disappointing. I completed a survey on February 21st to express my disappointment but haven’t heard back from Wendy’s yet. I feel let down by their lack of response and failure to address the quality issues I experienced.

I am disappointed with the fish sandwich I purchased today at your location on North Willow in Cookeville, TN. The store number on my receipt is [redacted], and my order number is [redacted]. The fish patty was severely overcooked in the deep fryer, resulting in a bowed, dark, and incredibly hard crust with no flavor. The sandwich was so overcooked that I couldn't even bite through one side of the crust. While the salad and frosty were good, the fish sandwich was inedible. I would have returned it if I had eaten in the restaurant, but since it was a to-go order and I live 11 miles away, it was not feasible to return it. I suggest providing training for the staff on how to recognize an overcooked product to avoid disappointing customers like me in the future.

I recently visited Wendy's on Tampa Road in Tampa, Florida. I ordered my usual homestyle chicken sandwich without lettuce but with cheese. Unfortunately, although the order was correct, the sandwich itself was disappointing. The chicken was overly fried, making it dry and lacking chicken meat. As I couldn't return due to being back at work and having not eaten all day, it was a disappointing experience. I typically enjoy Wendy's sandwiches and hold them in high regard, but this one did not meet expectations. I believe it would be fair to either receive a complimentary homestyle chicken sandwich or a refund for today's order. I have the receipt as proof of purchase.

I have been enjoying lunch at Wendy's on Towne Blvd. in Middletown, Ohio, almost daily for years due to the food quality and previously, the prices. The management and staff at this location stand out for their friendliness and great service. However, I recently noticed a 20-cent upcharge for swapping fries with a salad in my grilled chicken combo. Although it's not a significant amount, it does matter over time. I believe customers opting for healthier choices shouldn't be penalized with extra charges. The salad portion I received was larger than before, but I prefer a fresh salad with superior greens. I hope Wendy's considers customer feedback before implementing changes in the future. Best, J.Z.

I have been a loyal customer of Wendys for many years, but unfortunately, I have noticed a decline in service at the three locations I usually visit. Specifically, the Wendys in West Springfield, MA, as well as the one on Allen Street in Springfield, MA. The issue I have encountered is that the staff at these stores do not take your order until they are ready to fulfill it. While this may make the delivery times seem fast, it neglects the time customers have to wait for their orders to be taken. For instance, I recently left the Allen St. Springfield, MA location after waiting 8 minutes for someone to take my order, despite being the first in line. It appears to me that individual store managers are manipulating the system to give the appearance of good service. This has not been an isolated incident, but rather a common occurrence.

I visited the Wendy's in Fort Lee, NJ. I ordered the spicy chicken combo with no salt on the fries to go. Unfortunately, when I got to work, I discovered that the fries were overly salty. Upon checking my receipt, I noticed that the cashier did not input my request correctly. It would be beneficial if Wendy's considered letting customers salt their own food, potentially saving on excess salt usage. As a result, I had to consume a large amount of water that day.

Hello! I'm Marilyn H. from Davie, Florida. Firstly, I want to express how much my family adores your fast food chain above all others. Each of us has our favorite items on the menu. I received disheartening news today that the Green Tea has been removed from the menu. Both I and the very friendly staff member were disappointed by the news. Due to the distance of the nearest Wendy's, I used to order six Pearberry Green Teas without ice to freeze and enjoy later. I might seem a bit obsessed, but that's just how much I adored that tea. Please consider bringing back the Green Teas. Thank you for your attention and any forthcoming response.

Every time I visit the Wendy's in South Beloit at [redacted] Blackhawk Boulevard, Illinois, my order is consistently incorrect. I usually contact the manager, Josh, to address the issue when leaving, but this time I did not receive a receipt to do so. Unfortunately, each visit results in some error with my order. The new staff member at the drive-thru seemed unprepared to answer questions, further adding to the disorganization. The lack of improvement at this location is disheartening, as each visit continues to disappoint.

I was uncertain about my order due to feeling tired, hungry, and emotionally drained. In the drive-through, I faced harassment and bullying when the received food did not align with my order. Suffering from hearing issues, I struggled to hear well at the speaker. The attendant's behavior was aggressive, making me uncomfortable. Even though the food was cold and the order was incorrect, the mistreatment overshadowed everything. The encounter left me feeling upset and disappointed with Wendy's service, making me question if I could trust consuming the food. The lack of a receipt added to the dissatisfaction. During my recent visit to the restaurant, I encountered multiple issues with my orders and the service provided. One of the employees had difficulty understanding my order, and unfortunately, used inappropriate language towards me. Despite requesting to pay for three separate orders together, I was informed by the manager that I could only place two orders at once. Additionally, a specific request for unsalted fries was not fulfilled, resulting in disappointment as the fries were cold and rubbery. The manager insisted on separate payments for each order, which led to further frustration. Even though I was offered a free frosty as an apology for the incident with the employee, I felt mistreated and undeserving of such behavior. The quality of the food, particularly the fries and hamburger, was also subpar. Overall, the experience left me feeling upset and dissatisfied with the service received.
