I have been a customer at Walgreens in Elizabeth City, NC for 4 1/2 years. While the front register service is prompt and courteous, I have faced recurring issues with the pharmacy there. Numerous times, I have been informed to pick up a prescription only to find out upon arrival that it was not ready. For instance, despite receiving a call and text to collect a refill on a Tuesday, when I went to get it on Wednesday, I was told it was not in the system. The staff's response was indifferent, stating that this is the norm. Regrettably, I am now seeking services at another pharmacy due to these ongoing problems. It is disappointing to witness a decline in the level of service at Walgreens when it used to be better. Sincerely, Chris Harty

I have been diagnosed with Covid-19 and was prescribed Ipratropi/ALB to be used in a nebulizer. The pharmacist at Walgreens, Sweetie, informed me that I needed a prescription for the nebulizer but later said I could purchase one at a medical supply store without it. There was a miscommunication, and I went without treatment because I was not told correctly. I am upset with the service I received at Walgreens on [redacted] N Green Valley Parkway and I plan to file a formal complaint. It is essential for pharmacies to properly stock nebulizers if they are dispensing the corresponding medication. This situation has caused me a lot of distress, considering the circumstances of battling Covid-19.

Hello, I'm Matilde Sacoto. Today, on March 8, [redacted], which is International Women's Day, I went to get a COVID test as I have not been feeling well. Even though I don't have a vehicle and had to walk to the self-service location, I understand the need to reduce exposure to others. However, I was denied the test because I didn't arrive in a vehicle, despite being alone outdoors. They suggested I go to another nearby location at my own expense - which is difficult when I don't own a vehicle. I tried to explain how important it was for me to get tested, yet they still refused. This entire incident occurred at 2pm at the Walgreens on [redacted] McCormick Rd, Jacksonville, FL [redacted]. My confirmation number is LGVWKEA2.

As a Case Manager at WVU Medicine who assists MAT patients utilizing Suboxone, I contacted Walgreen's on Main and Lodgeville Rd. in Bridgeport, WV regarding a refill for a patient. Initially informed the refill was available, the patient was later notified they didn't stock the prescribed tablets, contrary to the earlier confirmation. Despite reconfirmation from me, the pharmacy maintained they didn't carry the medication and suggested other locations, leading to us relocating the order to a different Walgreens farther away. Additionally, the pharmacy hinted that the staff member I spoke with might be from a call center, causing confusion. A pharmacist from the store that eventually agreed to fill the prescription mentioned a recent meeting aimed at standardizing medication availability across all branches. I've diligently lodged this complaint in hopes of addressing this issue. Thank you, Tina M. L.

Last night, I went to collect my prescription but was surprised to hear that my Express Pay card was not on file. I was certain it should be there, so I called the Manager afterward. I was informed that Corporate had actually removed my card, not the local store. Despite picking up a prescription a week before, there seemed to be confusion. The Manager mentioned various reasons why Corporate may have taken such action, but I was left wondering why I wasn't informed directly if there was an issue with my card. The service at the Walgreens located at 9th and Langley in Pensacola, FL, wasn't as friendly as I had hoped.

I purchased an eBay card back in [redacted], and recently discovered that it had been used on another account. Despite never using the card, eBay directed me to contact Walgreens. I am reaching out for assistance with resolving this issue, as the card holds $[redacted] that I intended to use for my daughter's upcoming graduation gift. My name is Myra Hamilton and my email address is [redacted] I would greatly appreciate a prompt response from either Walgreens or eBay to rectify this misunderstanding. Thank you.

I requested a prescription from my doctor on 04/04/[redacted] to Walgreens at [redacted] W Sunset Blvd in St. George, UT. I got a text from Walgreens saying the medication was out of stock and they would order more, but it's been 14 days with no update. After contacting my doctor's office on 04/18/[redacted], they reached out to Walgreens again, but I received the same out-of-stock message. When I called Walgreens, I was put on hold for 15 minutes, with the pharmacy staff repeatedly placing me back on hold without speaking. The lack of communication and unprofessional customer service forced me to give up on trying to reach the pharmacy for the day.

I missed picking up my prescription by 15 minutes yesterday, intending to get it today on Saturday, just to find the pharmacy closed due to no pharmacist. If they knew on Friday about the shortage, they should've informed customers. This lack of communication is concerning, especially in urgent situations. I plan to move my prescriptions elsewhere due to this incident in Spearfish, South Dakota.

Please consider closing the Walgreens location at [redacted] E Ocean Ave in Lantana, FL [redacted]. I have called the pharmacy four times and each time experienced long waits with no answer, followed by abrupt hang-ups. When trying to reach the store manager, I encountered a language barrier and was placed on hold indefinitely. Today, I received an email regarding a prescription issue and was directed to call a number, only to face the same communication challenges. I have since relocated from Florida and now use the Walgreens on High Ridge Road, where I receive excellent service. This recurring problem needs to be addressed promptly for the benefit of other customers experiencing similar issues.

I am frustrated with the Homosassa Florida pharmacy as they are often closed and redirect my refills to a different store. I have to make numerous calls to have them sent back to me. I waited for 2 hours on the line with no resolution, and when I attempt to contact the store, they hang up on me. As a former Walgreens employee, I understand the importance of good customer service, and this experience does not meet those standards.

My husband had a COVID test appointment on May 9, [redacted], at 3:48 PM, scheduled for May 13, [redacted], at 1:45. However, upon arrival, the drive-thru was closed, and upon going inside, he was informed no testing could be conducted. He needed the test for an appointment at Froediert's Hospital in Milwaukee on May 16, [redacted], for early appointments on May 17, [redacted]. Despite being informed they would call, no such communication was made. He ended up waiting at a clinic for testing, which took around 45 minutes. As a senior citizen, aged 69, things should be more straightforward. Also, there have been issues with medication readiness at Walgreens, leading to additional trips. Living in a small town limits our service options. I understand addressing this might not change anything, but I felt it necessary to highlight these concerns. Thank you. - Karen F.

I've had the inconvenience of finding the pharmacy closed twice when the pharmacist was needed at another store, preventing me from getting my prescription. It would be helpful if they could send a text alert in such situations. While they can notify when a prescription is ready, a heads-up for closures would be a considerate gesture. I left a note at the pharmacy and requested a call back but unfortunately didn't receive any response. Hopefully, they can address this feedback for better customer service. - Darlene Smith-Starr

I went to your pharmacy on Window Boulevard in St. Louis, Missouri, but security told me it was closed for floor washing, which I find hard to believe. I believe that the staff just didn't want to deal with customers, similar to experiences I've had at other stores. I feel disrespected as a paying customer who values my time, money, and energy. It's frustrating to drive there only to leave empty-handed. Please address this situation promptly as being turned away without clear reasons is unacceptable. I hope this issue can be resolved as I'm disappointed by the lack of customer service displayed. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I had a disappointing experience at Walgreens in Hazel Green, Alabama. Angie League was disrespectful when I tried to use a GoodRx app coupon that was for the wrong dosage. Instead of assisting me, she insisted I drive around again because there were cars behind me. Despite my objections, she continued to be unhelpful and unprofessional by laughing and making fun of me to her colleagues. Even after giving her the correct coupon, she still couldn't resolve the issue. When I requested to speak to a manager, she mockingly responded. Fortunately, the manager swiftly resolved the problem. When I asked for Angie's name, she was uncooperative and dismissive. For assistance with this matter, please reach out to me at [redacted].

I have been experiencing issues with renewing my prescriptions online for the past year. Despite my prescriptions having enough refills, I keep receiving notifications that they cannot be renewed, prompting my doctor to confirm there are refills available. Each time I contact my local Walgreens, they verify that everything is in order and refill my prescriptions without any problems. However, they advise me to raise the issue with the corporate office. This repeated delay has become frustrating, leading me to consider moving my business to CVS. I have been a long-time user of the online service, and these recent difficulties have left me wondering about the reliability of this feature. I may have to resort to visiting the pharmacy in person and wait for my prescriptions to be filled.

On 06/10, I visited the 24-hour Walgreens in Farmington to pick up my prescriptions. The employee who assisted me was unfortunately quite slow and seemed very unhappy with her job at Walgreens. She complained about various issues such as lack of support from corporate, frequent computer problems, being understaffed, underpaid, and overworked. Her focus on venting about her job rather than efficiently helping me was frustrating. Additionally, the long wait time in line made the situation even more unpleasant. The employee's unkempt appearance further added to the negative experience. This is not the first time I have encountered such a lack of professionalism while trying to fill my prescriptions at this Walgreens location. If improvements are not made, I will have to take my business to CVS or Walmart instead.

I've been trying to get my prescriptions from the Walgreens on 102nd Avenue and Seminole Blvd, Seminole, Florida since I moved here. I face issues every time, especially with my Aimovig prescription due to stock problems and lack of notification. The pharmacy didn't assist in finding it and claimed to be too busy. I had to go to a different Walgreens far from home twice. For my anti-anxiety medication in the benzedrine family, I called ahead for availability on June 14th, told it'd be ready on the 17th, then later informed it would be ready on the 18th. The pharmacist's response to missing a dose was insensitive. Multiple delays occurred, and upon calling on the 18th, was told it was being worked on, risking not having it ready by the 8:00 pm closing time. The continuous issues, rude staff, unprofessional responses, and prescription delays have led me to transfer all my prescriptions to CVS.

On the 8th of July at Walgreens Locatel located at [redacted] South West 8th Street in Miami, my husband and I had a disappointing encounter with an employee named Alex. We traveled from Mexico for our fourth dose of the COVID vaccine with a scheduled appointment. Alex rudely directed us to take the vaccine in a car, but another staff member clarified it had to be administered inside the store. Upon our return, Alex mistakenly presumed we needed a COVID test instead of the vaccine. This misunderstanding led to unnecessary frustration and confusion. I am inclined to file a formal complaint as such behavior not only impacts customers negatively but also reflects poorly on Walgreens' service quality. - M.P.

I used to get my prescriptions at one Walgreens, but due to constant pharmacy closures and transfers without my consent, I've had to switch locations multiple times just to try and pick up my medication. I don't have a car, so I rely on rides to get my prescriptions which are now scattered across different branches. It's frustrating to deal with the hassle of chasing my medication, especially when the staff act like it's not a big deal. Between the costs of gas, uncertainty about the pharmacist availability, and the inconvenience of visiting multiple locations, it's becoming too much to handle. I'm considering stopping my medications altogether because the situation has become too difficult to manage. This issue really needs some serious attention.

I have been receiving vitamin B12 shots for over a year. Recently, the pharmacy I visit underwent personnel changes, and I believe I have experienced discrimination. I have always used 29-gauge, 1/2-inch, 1cc syringes, but the pharmacy tried to give me 5/16-inch ones, which are not suitable for my medication. They even offered me a huge 25-gauge needle as a joke. Today, they claim to have the right syringes but now require a prescription, despite no longer needing one in California. I have been purchasing from them for a decade, yet this sudden change is unacceptable. Not being able to access the correct syringes is preventing me from properly administering my medication. I plan to take legal action against Walgreens for this issue.
