I borrowed a trailer from a friend that was parked on a public street. However, it got towed by Park Place Condominiums, and I am now trying to locate it. Sadly, my friend passed away recently and I don't have any paperwork for the trailer. I urgently need to retrieve my belongings from the trailer and return it to their family, but I cannot even find it. I have contacted the police department but no records have turned up. I am unsure of how to proceed, so I may need to contact the DMV to seek guidance on how to handle this situation given the circumstances.
