Hello, I'm Robert Henry. My artist, Code Red, has released a new single called 'The Anthem' on June 1, [redacted]. However, it has been mistakenly linked to another artist with the same name. This is causing sharing issues and potential revenue complications. I kindly request for my artist and single to be separated and given their own artist page. Please reach out to me at [redacted] for further assistance. Thank you.

My album was temporarily blocked during the review due to an issue with the artist name or release information. We used an alias that is not allowed. I am wondering if we can include a name on the cover art if we label it as a Various Artist Album. The main artist has multiple aliases that are registered with these songs on BMI. I need to ensure that BMI can track plays, royalties, etc. Three songs were previously released on TuneCore under the main artist's name, but we want to use an alias for easier search by listeners. I would appreciate a prompt call to discuss this matter. The release date was planned for 6/17, and now we are on hold. Thank you.

I have submitted two songs for my band SAMSARA, titled "THIS IS HOW WE ROCK" and "ALL TOMORROW'S PARTIES" through your service. However, when searching for SAMSARA under ARTIST on Spotify, nothing appears. The only way to find the songs is by entering the title directly. Despite sending three emails requesting a correction, I have not received a satisfactory response. The suggested solution was to resubmit the songs and pay again, which is unacceptable as it was your mistake to begin with. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of assistance provided. I demand that this issue be resolved at no extra cost. I am disappointed with the poor service from TUNE CORE, and I intend to apprise my music industry contacts about this experience.
I tried contacting your customer service by phone, but the call kept dropping. This only adds to my dissatisfaction with TUNE CORE's unprofessionalism.
Sincerely,
Paris H.

Hello, I am experiencing an issue with my distribution credits. Previously, I had purchased a single song for 5 years and opted for the "Collect Your YouTube Sound Recording Revenue" feature. Later, I decided to buy a package of 10 credits for singles through TuneCore. However, now I realize that I am unable to extend the availability of my songs in stores beyond 1 year, and I am unable to utilize the "Collect Your YouTube Sound Recording Revenue" feature for each song. I intended for my songs to remain available for 5 years and to have the revenue feature for all my singles. Had I known this limitation, I would have purchased individual credits instead of the package. TuneCore did not provide this information during the package purchase. I am stuck in this situation and unable to proceed, as TuneCore requires me to utilize all 10 credits. I do not want to proceed with this setup. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Our progress has hit a snag due to confusion with a "high profile artist", Roy Woods. The individual we collaborate with is a retired man from Travelers Rest, South Carolina, also named Roy Woods. Our friendship stemmed from Reverbnation, and we record by exchanging parts online. I believe a contract is unnecessary. It's frustrating that we've paid for services that remain unused, and time is of the essence. Could you kindly expedite the release of our work?
Regards,
Jammie Lile

I am a 67-year-old musician who recently released a track after 40 years, but Tunecore censored the artwork by not allowing a commemorative date to be mentioned. Despite my disappointment, I have prepared new artwork without the specific date. I am concerned about potential censorship on live concert releases that may also contain dates. I am open to following the rules but seek guidance on how to proceed with my release. I have a long history in the music industry and value artistic freedom. Please advise on the next steps as I navigate this censorship issue. Thank you.

Hello, I'm uncertain if you can assist, yet I wanted to share my situation with you. I am Joseph K., one of the founding members of Artist Vs Poet alongside Jason D. However, we have parted ways, and Jason has changed our shared email and password, withholding money that rightfully belongs to me based on our longstanding agreement. I am taking legal steps, but before proceeding further, I thought to seek any guidance you may provide. I understand if you cannot intervene directly, but any advice on approaching this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Dear TuneCore,
I am Isiah B. and have been a member for approximately two years now. I am reaching out regarding my compositions in the Publishing Administration that have been stagnant for two years without any financial allocation to my account. This issue is reflected in the attached graphic showing the status of my compositions as "Split submitted" for an extended period.
Despite my repeated emails and responses to your questionnaires, the matter remains unresolved, leading to missed payments. I expect retroactive payment once this is rectified. Please confirm receipt of this concern.
Thank you,
Isiah B.

TuneCore is incorrectly claiming that I stole someone's track, but my song "Rise" by Djamila Vera was composed in [redacted], not copied from DJ Carmen's "Eden." I'm requesting TuneCore to remove the credit given to DJ Carmen as my song is original. Apart from sharing some drum and bass loops from Logic Pro, our songs are different. If DJ Carmen can prove "Eden" pre-dates [redacted], I will make changes. Otherwise, I urge TuneCore to correct this error. I possess proof of my song's creation date with the Logic Pro file on a USB key. I need this resolved before releasing "Rise" through TuneCore. Thank you for addressing this issue promptly. Best, Djamila

I uploaded a song called "Losing Interest" back in July. I recently discovered that my YouTube account was not synced with Tunecore when the video was uploaded, so it's under a various artists account. I'm wondering if ad revenue from the previous video will still be collected from that account or if a new video will be made. If possible, please contact me at [redacted]. Feel free to call with any questions or respond via email, although I prefer a call. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, A-6.

I submitted my complete album to TuneCore for distribution, but unfortunately, it was rejected. The message indicated that there were issues with the audio quality, possible snippets, or duplicates. I am requesting clarification on the specific reasons for the rejection and also seeking a refund for the service. Here is the message I received from TuneCore:
"Hi Jeff Hoagland,
Thank you for selecting TuneCore to distribute your album 'Praise Him' by Jeph. We have put a temporary hold on your release due to audio concerns. Kindly review your uploaded audio to ensure it meets our criteria, such as no defective tracks, snippets, or duplicates. Please make the necessary corrections using the Replace File option for each track. Once updated, please respond to this email for us to proceed with the distribution process. Thank you."
Thank you,
Jeff Hoagland

I have been attempting to contact your support team for assistance, but have not received a response. Could you please provide me with an update on when this issue will be resolved? I paid for the publishing service and am eager to understand why this happened. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help.

Tunecore has been depriving me of the ability to live a fulfilling life by making false claims against my music. I have successfully disputed their claims for the past 3 years, and it is unjust for them to continue using my content as if they have ownership. I deserve to be compensated for the hardships caused by their actions. It is time for Tunecore to stop hindering my pursuit of happiness and allow me to live in peace.

I reached out to Tunecore to inquire about my publishing account. I did not express any negative emotions, just wanted to check its active status. Initially, Paola, an "Artist Support Specialist," claimed my account was terminated last year and couldn't assist further, even mentioning new splits which was not my concern. When I replied, a Customer Care Manager named Bryan responded with a condescending tone. He insisted on the termination being irreversible, attributing my continued royalties to not updating my information. Despite sharing screenshots from other representatives suggesting reinstatement was possible, the responses were unhelpful, lacking details and contradicting each other. The issue now lies in the disrespectful communication received. I am considering moving my music to a different platform due to this frustrating experience. If Tunecore can reinstate my publishing, I would consider staying, but if not, I am prepared to switch without issues. This interaction has left me disappointed as I've never faced such problems with Tunecore before.

I submitted my new single, "The Voiceless," to Tunecore on March 3rd. Subsequently, I reached out to their customer service team via email on the same day. Tunecore's promise was to reply to emails "within one business day." Currently, it is Day 4, and I have not received any response or confirmation. Yesterday, I sent another email, considering that it was the third business day without a word. I took all the necessary legal steps by owning the copyright to the song, registered through copyright.gov. I am the sole creator, providing the lyrics, harmonies, and adlibs, and the only vocalist in the song. To distribute my music, I even purchased UNLIMITED leasing rights for the beat from sinimabeats.com. Although I paid Tunecore for their distribution services, their lack of response is disheartening and has caused a setback in my release plans, affecting my video launch with the iTunes link. The inefficiency of their customer care team is alarming, and their failure to meet their own stated response time is a breach of trust. If their actual average response time exceeds 4 days, they should accurately reflect this in their communication to manage customer expectations instead of creating false hopes. This experience has made me doubt their reliability and integrity as a business partner, leading me to reconsider future dealings with them.

Hello,
I have encountered an issue where my song, "Fake Friends" by Asa Bantan, has been wrongfully claimed by a company named LoPro through TuneCore. I am the rightful owner of this song and have no affiliation with LoPro. The copyright claim message on YouTube shows TuneCore acting on behalf of LoPro for my song.
I kindly request for the immediate removal of this incorrect claim on my song. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have to escalate it legally against the individual claiming ownership. I urge you to address this issue promptly to avoid any legal intervention. Thank you.

I have an agreement with Derek & Brandon Fiechter to use their music on YouTube. My channel name is Drone Girl based in Ireland. YouTube is now claiming copyright issues with the music. I have spoken to both artists, and they are confused by this situation.
I have requested TuneCore to whitelist my channel as per Derek and Brandon Fiechter's request. I am waiting for TuneCore to confirm this action.
Please update me once this issue has been resolved.

I recently received a notice from YouTube about a 'claims dispute' from TuneCore regarding the copyright of a song on my YT Channel. Two years ago, I took the necessary legal steps by contacting the composer for permission before using the music. I have been using the music without any issues until recently when TuneCore placed copyright claims on my videos. I reached out to the composer, Brandon F., who explained that TuneCore claimed the music due to changes in YouTube's policies. While I do not monetize my channel, I would like to resolve this issue without having any marks against my channel's standing. Brandon suggested contacting TuneCore to explain the situation. I believe that TuneCore should reconsider filing claims against channels that have obtained proper permissions and honor agreements with creators like myself. I hope to get guidance on how to proceed further.
Best,
Lance W. H.
