I purchased a game earlier this year and only played fourteen minutes of it. Unfortunately, the game is nearly unplayable for me. I requested a refund right away but did not receive any response. When I tried to request a refund again, I was denied due to the two-week policy. The game cost me $25, and I really want to be able to enjoy playing it or get a refund. I am hoping for a response via email.

Good morning, I woke up today to discover that I have been banned from an early-access alpha test on Steam, specifically the game "SCUM." I had tested the game for 2 hours on September 21st and provided critical feedback to a developer/moderator. Despite not having played the game since then, I found myself banned due to a heated interaction with the said moderator/dev. This resulted in a ban on my Steam account, which is unfair considering my long-standing positive record. I attempted to address this with their support, but encountered unhelpful responses. The ban feels unjust given my intentions to help improve the game during its alpha phase. I urge Valve to thoroughly review ban requests before penalizing players, as this situation feels targeted and abusive.

A month ago, my account was hacked, and I noticed multiple unauthorized logins. Despite attempting to deauthorize devices, my account was still compromised. Recently, when I tried to access my profile, it displayed "Access Denied." This situation is distressing as I had already lost connections with friends, groups, and comments due to the initial hack. I am particularly concerned now as I am unable to access my account to enjoy the new knife skin I acquired. I would appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue.

Hello Steam Support, I believe my account may have been hacked. A friend mentioned a potential scammer icon on my profile and directed me to verify something to resolve the issue to prevent a permanent ban. Skeptical at first, I was provided a link to a supposed Steam moderator named John Enclave Senior MOD. After following the instructions, I fear that I have lost access to my account due to a possible hack. The moderator indicated it would take 24 hours to rectify duplicate items in my inventory. Unfortunately, I am now unable to log into my account as the associated email address has been changed. I am incredibly frustrated and reaching out to seek assistance in recovering my account. Your prompt help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I go by the name of Aaron, and I am a dedicated player of Rocket League. Each day, I enjoy playing this game, but recently, I encountered an issue. Upon opening the game, I discovered that all my tradable cars had disappeared without any warning. Strangely, I still possess all other items in my inventory, including those acquired after the cars went missing. Presently, I am left with only one tradable car, though it’s untradeable due to being obtained from a crate using a decrypter. Despite reinstalling Rocket League and Steam, my missing cars have not been restored. I am reaching out, hoping for immediate assistance because I have invested a significant amount of money in the game and the cars. Kindly get in touch with me at [redacted] or preferably call me at [redacted], as I am feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated. Your prompt response would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I sold an item on Gumtree, and the buyer requested £[redacted] worth of Steam cards for an agent to pick it up. After receiving PayPal emails claiming I had won money, I investigated and discovered the buyer was a fraudster. The Steam card codes had already been redeemed, resulting in a loss of my money. I hold evidence of the scam in the spam emails. Here are the codes of the steam cards I mistakenly purchased: Y3MZV-DK85B-W82KZ EP419-YXZ0R-2N62J Y3M2V-DK85B-W82KZ 856AI-N7HW7-R3JLK

This is my second time seeking help. Previously, my concern was overlooked after I provided the necessary details. I installed the mobile authenticator to speed up selling items in my inventory but now I'm locked out of my account. I want to enjoy the games I purchased, but there's an issue with the SMS verification. Despite receiving the code, the mobile authenticator won't accept it. I now have Steam Guard enabled, but I'm unable to access it via my phone. I would like it removed promptly. My account name is "Agaliarept The Mad," and I have several paid games that I can't play. I hope to have this resolved today. I attached a screenshot of a Steam receipt in my previous communication, which seemingly wasn't sufficient due to the lack of response. I can provide references to confirm my ownership of the account if needed.

There was an internet service outage in my area from October 12th at 5 p.m. to October 13th at 9 a.m. During this time, my account was compromised by arseniy[redacted]4 who played Rust and ultimately caused a VAC ban on my account. He then used my account to purchase a $34.99 Rust gift and sent it to his alternate account arseniy[redacted]4. I am seeking a refund for the unauthorized purchase and hoping to resolve the VAC ban issue.

I am having trouble recovering my Steam account because I no longer have access to the old computer and email associated with it. I do have my game's CD box set with the original product key, but I can't play the game on my new computer without accessing my old Steam account. I believe there should be more options available to users in this situation. I hope to receive assistance with this issue instead of being redirected between companies. I can provide additional information to verify my identity if needed. [redacted]

I am currently facing difficulty in reaching out to customer support to assist me in recovering my old gaming account. I can prove that the game is legitimately mine as I possess the original CD set, construction set, maps, and other documentation. I wish to enjoy my game on my new computer under a different Steam account, or I need guidance on how to regain access to my account without the original registered email. When I initially tried to log in and couldn't recall my username, I was prompted to enter the product key. However, the system requires sending an email to the address linked to the account, which I no longer have access to due to changing service providers.

Hi, I have previously been a great fan of both Steam and Valve and have enjoyed their creations immensely. Recently, I have encountered an issue with my account being deleted or put on hold. I have been the owner of this account since [redacted], when I was young, and have invested a significant amount of money in Steam through sales and purchases. The deletion of my account occurred for a reason that was not applicable during my ownership, and I am reaching out to seek assistance in resolving this matter. Steam is my go-to source for entertainment, and I value our relationship. My account username is/was Alliedjakel. I hope for a prompt response to rectify this situation. Thank you.

I encountered issues with Battle Eye anti-cheat on Arma 3, which kept kicking me out of the game with a "no response from Battle Eye" error. After researching, I decided to delete the Battle Eye folder and exe file. Upon having Steam validate the game files, a new problem arose. Steam will not start the download, showing 0 kb transfer and 0 of 0 bytes completed. Even after waiting, no progress was made. I then restored my PC to an earlier date, hoping to resolve any Windows update conflicts, but the issue persisted. Now the download progress shows 0 of 25GB, but it still won't begin. It's frustrating when a simple update causes more problems than it solves, especially when it hinders me from enjoying a newly purchased game. It seems like there may be a connection block preventing the download.

I would like to gift Age of Empires 3 Complete Collection on Steam, but it seems that there is a shortage of unused keys due to the game requiring unique keys for online play. I had previously purchased this game for friends, but recent reviews indicate that many copies being sold only have used keys, limiting access to the multiplayer component. I want to ensure I am buying a version of the game that allows for the full experience. Is there a method for Steam to verify if they have available unused keys for this game to guarantee a complete purchase?

I purchased a $50 Steam card without realizing it required a Steam account to use. I accidentally bought the wrong card at CVS. I'm curious to know if the card still has the $50 balance. The PIN on the back of the card is OTCKH-GALVJ-YEDI9. Your assistance in checking this for me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently set up a Steam Mobile Guard Authenticator on my mobile phone with the number ([redacted]). Unfortunately, that phone had issues with the SIM card, so I had to get a new one with a new number: ([redacted]). Since I no longer have access to my old number and my recovery code was saved as an image on the previous phone which I do not have anymore, I am locked out of my Steam Guard. I still remember my account password, username, and email used, and I can answer any additional authentication questions. I disabled the "Don't save credentials" option to stay logged in, but I need assistance with this problem.

It would be best to reach me via phone at +[redacted]16 in the UAE. I purchased crystals in the game Paladins, which is in my Steam library. My account was unjustly banned for the fourth time due to an accusation of "intentional feeding," which I did not do. I have reached out to the company, but they have not responded. They refuse to refund me because I used some crystals, but I no longer want my account and would prefer to create a new one. I feel like my money was taken and then I was banned without cause. Since the next ban would be permanent, I have already made a new account with the IGN "CaptainGarbage" and Hi-Rez account name "TheTornPrince." I hope this issue can be addressed promptly; otherwise, I will have to file a consumer complaint against Hi-Rez for their unfair and potentially illegal actions.

I purchased a game recently and attempted to play it on October 23. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the game would not respond to my mouse, only keyboard or controller inputs, which I cannot use due to arthritis. I requested a refund beyond their specified two-week period, but they declined citing their policy. Frustrated with the lack of understanding, I uninstalled the game along with Steam and all other titles. Their automated response felt impersonal, and I feel let down by their customer service. I am simply seeking an apology and have decided not to support them in the future or reinstall any of their products.

I believe I was wrongly banned from PUBG. I played last night, didn't win but got a few kills. Later, I tried joining a server in Rust with my friend Brandon, but I couldn't due to the previous ban. We switched to Escape from Tarkov before I went to bed. This morning, at 6 a.m., I tried to play PUBG and found a ban message. I am baffled because I never cheated and am not an expert player. Worried, I feared my whole Steam account was compromised, but my internet connection issues prevented me from checking. I suspect my account might have been hacked by someone who cheated on it. Still, I can't understand why my account was targeted as I have no wins. Please resolve this issue by lifting the ban or providing an explanation. Also, notify me if my Steam account is locked. You can reach me via email at [redacted]

I recently got logged out of my Steam account and hadn't tried to log back in until I noticed some unauthorized activity on my eBay account. When I attempted to change my password, I couldn't use the email verification method because my email had also been compromised. Instead, I verified my account through my card and by confirming my last purchase. After changing my password successfully, I encountered another security step requiring a verification code sent to an unfamiliar email address ending in "yandex.ru." Additionally, my account details were altered to display a different username "kabib-kahil," which is not mine. Since I cannot access the code sent to the unfamiliar email address, I am unable to log back into my account due to these unauthorized changes.

While playing CS:GO, I've faced continuous seven-day cool downs due to toxic teammates who either deliberately step into hazardous areas or vote to kick me out. Recently, I received my fourth consecutive seven-day penalty unjustly. During a match, even though I performed well, my toxic teammates, without any valid reason, kicked me out despite me carrying the team. This led to my unjust seven-day ban. I'm frustrated with this recurring problem and urge for a resolution to this issue.
