I am writing here feeling upset about an issue with my SPG account. My account created in [redacted] was unexpectedly canceled, and I was advised by Chelsea from customer support to create a new account. Unfortunately, when trying to create a new account on both Marriott.com and SPG.com, I received an error message preventing me from signing up. In an attempt to resolve this and make a reservation, I called customer service and spoke with a rude representative named Daniel who hung up on me. As a full-time travel blogger, I find this experience frustrating and disappointing. The difficulty in signing up and the poor customer service have made me consider taking my business elsewhere. I need assistance with my account and making a reservation. Thank you for your help.

My daughter attends the University of Florida and was supposed to move out of her dorm on 5/3 - 5/4 but now needs to move on 5/2 - 5/3. I tried to adjust our hotel reservation with Starwood to stay closer to the school, but I'm encountering difficulties due to their cancellation policy. I'm not seeking a refund, just a change in dates and location. The fine print states changes are not allowed, and there might be a cancellation fee. I'm simply requesting flexibility given the circumstances. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have a reservation today at the Holiday Inn Express Suites under the name Symeon James for the date March 16, [redacted]. There seems to be confusion with the check-in and check-out dates, charges, and extra fees. An issue arose regarding an additional guest, the guest's wife, not being accounted for in the reservation. Due to hotel policy, resolving this falls on the individuals unless damage is caused to the property during their stay, which did not occur. The current matter at 3:35 p.m. on March 16, [redacted], revolves around a payment discrepancy with double charges for the rooms. There are employee codes allowing discounts and an employee listed as a guest, along with a pre-executed financial waiver fee. The total fee for a two-night stay after taxes and discounts is $[redacted].13. There are concerns about various payment methods, misuse of employee benefits, and potential manipulation of the IHG Rewards system. Additionally, one guest complained of a malfunctioning bathroom toilet and A/C unit displaying inaccurate temperatures. Records indicate numerous sensor malfunctions for room #[redacted] occupied by Symeon & Ajahnee James on March 15-16, [redacted].
