I recently got a letter stating that my subscription to The Times will go up to $58 on June 8, plus taxes. However, they took $53.27 from my bank account, which is too much for me. My spouse and I have been loyal subscribers for over 50 years. Now that we're retired, our income is limited. I know friends who pay only $18 for the Wednesday-Sunday paper. Can you clarify why I'm paying $53 when others pay much less?
