I have been a Scotiabank customer for many years. In May of [redacted], my wife Raylyn and I met with a Scotiabank advisor at our branch in Wasaga Beach to set up a Scotia iTRADE account in both of our names. My old account was closed, and I was given a new account number, [redacted]7. This was meant to be a joint account for tax purposes with an initial injection of $84,[redacted]. Recently, I discovered that only my name was on the account when I received my tax documents online. Confirmation from the call center revealed that the joint account we had set up back in May [redacted] was missing. This issue between Scotiabank and iTRADE needs urgent attention. Gary L. I received an incorrect T4RIF for [redacted] as a beneficiary of my husband John's RIF. The funds were transferred to my RIF, not withdrawn. The issued tax slip indicates a withdrawal of over $[redacted],[redacted], causing issues with my tax returns. Despite attempts to contact the bank through phone and email, resolution hasn't been achieved. My local branch couldn't help due to long waiting times. I urgently need the correct tax form. I have accounts with Scotia iTrade and I am attempting to open an RRSP account on the platform. However, the application prepopulates my address, but then it does not accept it, stating I need to provide a legal address. Despite being a suburban address already used on my other accounts, the system won't allow me to proceed. I have been attempting this for two days now, and even contacting customer service did not resolve the issue. The message instructs me to enter PO Box info in the additional address section, which is not relevant as my property is not rural. I need assistance with this frustrating situation.
