As a third grade teacher in a public school, I received a $50 scholastic gift card that I wanted to use for Scholastic Teachables digital online resources. Unfortunately, I was informed that subscriptions cannot be paid with gift cards because they renew annually. I find it frustrating that such a large company cannot implement a system to allow gift card usage for subscriptions. I do not need physical products or want to use it for the book fair. I hope this can be improved as I approach retirement after this final year of teaching. Thank you for letting me share my experience. - Laurie Planeta
