I need assistance as this is the second time in three weeks that we have not received the COMICS section in our June 3rd Sunday SDUT. I kindly request to have it delivered with our newspaper tomorrow morning, Monday, June 4th. This issue is becoming too frequent, and I am continually having to contact you regarding similar problems. Our address is [redacted] Anza Ave, SPC 33, Vista, CA [redacted], and our phone number is [redacted]. I urgently require the COMICS section tomorrow morning. I am becoming increasingly frustrated with the recurring problems we are facing since subscribing just a month ago. Please reassure me that you can ensure the delivery of today's COMICS section on Monday, June 4th. Thank you, S. Reddan.

I received a past due notice that I found insulting. I had not been previously billed for this amount. My last payment of $28.00 was made on 5/31/18 and covered services until 6/27/18. I refuse to pay more than $28.00 monthly and will not pay in advance. The notice claims $61.00 is past due, equivalent to $30.50 monthly, and states service will end on 8/27/18. I have not received a paper today by 8:12 AM, and recently located it in the bushes on multiple occasions. I request the choice of $28.00 monthly for services already provided, or cancellation of the subscription. A prompt resolution is preferred to avoid further escalation with Consumer Bob. I question the billing discrepancy of 3 weeks instead of 4 and note variations in charges among customers for the same service, ranging from $13.00 to unspecified amounts. Additionally, I question the differing costs of Sunday issues, priced at $1.00 on one corner and $1.50 on another.

I reside in the Santaluz gated community on Caminito Lazanja in San Diego's North County. Each day, starting at 4 am, our neighbor receives a UT newspaper delivery that is disruptive to our sleep. Our community upholds a noise ordinance that prohibits disturbances between 10 pm and 7 am on weekdays and prohibits deliveries on Sundays. The noise created by the early newspaper drop-off is incredibly loud and affects the peace and rest of the residents in our cul de sac. Santaluz regulations dictate that deliveries should not occur before 7 am. Could the newspaper delivery time be adjusted to comply with our community's rules by delivering it at 7 am instead of 4 am on Caminito Lazanja? Thank you. Mrs. D.

I have been subscribed for paper delivery on Sundays and Thursdays, yet for the past three weeks, I've only received the paper on the first Thursday. Despite multiple calls and assurances from a supervisor, the issue persists. Although my account is credited, the papers still do not arrive. I requested a local San Diego contact number but was only promised an email follow-up, which never occurred. The lack of communication or resolution has been frustrating, with only one successful delivery in three weeks.

I would like to cancel my subscription and request a refund for the payment made this month. Since relocating to La Mesa, I have encountered difficulties with the newspaper delivery service. I have been a loyal reader and subscriber since the 1950s, but recently, I have noticed a decline in content quality. The delivery timing has also been unreliable, with the paper arriving late or not at all. After speaking with a customer service representative, who had difficulty communicating clearly in English, I was assured that the issue would be resolved, but unfortunately, the situation did not improve. Despite my long-standing loyalty, it seems that the UT is not valuing its customers. Therefore, I am requesting the cancellation of my service and a refund for this month.

I previously had a subscription to SDUT. There was a misunderstanding in communication with GetHuman, leading to a complex issue. I stepped away from the discussion and have now been informed that my subscription ended on 6/14/19. I'm interested in the offer for $[redacted].00 for 52 weeks on Thursdays and Sundays. I would like to proceed with this offer. Please let me know what information you require from me. Thank you.

For years, my newspaper has been consistently delivered right at or near the front door of my circular driveway, providing easy access. However, recently, the paper has been consistently dropped much further down the driveway, making it difficult for my 93-year-old friend, who uses a walker, to retrieve it safely. Despite her calls reporting the issue, the carrier persists in dropping the paper far away from the house, almost to the mailbox. It is crucial for my friend to receive her morning paper, and relying on the electronic version is not an option for her. I have been a loyal subscriber to The Union for over four decades, but this change in delivery location is causing unnecessary inconvenience. I simply request a different carrier who can efficiently and courteously deliver the paper to its usual spot near the front door.

Hello, my name is Frank. I recently signed up for the San Diego Union newspaper at the fair. I was offered a special price for two months at $39.92, which has already been deducted from my checking account. However, I am receiving the Los Angeles paper instead of the San Diego paper. Please address and correct this issue promptly. I live in San Diego, not Los Angeles, and I believe I am contacting the correct company. Your prompt resolution in delivering the correct paper daily, not just on Sundays, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your attention to this matter. -Frank

A few months back, I subscribed to the Sunday paper from a guy at the Wal-Mart on Los Coches Road. I paid $20.00 for the subscription and a ball cap, but I still haven't received a single paper. Their customer service even called to check on the subscription, and I informed them it was not arriving as promised. Despite their apologies and assurances, the issue was not resolved, and I am disappointed that I have been billed without receiving the service. I won't be renewing my subscription due to this poor experience. Paying $20.00 for nothing is not acceptable to me.

Dear Editor,
I am considering ending my subscription to the UT due to a number of issues with the declining quality of the newspaper. The removal of the Mallard Fillmore comic strip was the final straw for me. I believe it was not an act of antisemitism but rather a satire of Rep Ilhan Omar's antisemitism. I feel the editor may have chosen to please the left and liberal readers by dropping it. I am disappointed in paying almost $70.00 monthly for a subpar paper that insults my beliefs.
I believe if you were to survey your quieter readers, you may find more conservatives among them. I have noticed the paper becoming less engaging, not just due to its political bias but also its lack of depth. The early press deadline also means important events like game scores are missing.
I have stuck with your paper because it's the only one available in town. However, if I cancel my subscription, you will feel a financial impact. I have spoken to others who are also considering leaving. I hope for a better alternative for our town soon.
Warm regards,
A Concerned Subscriber

For the past several months, we have noticed a consistent delay in the delivery of our SD Union Tribune newspaper. Despite numerous calls to customer support reporting the issue, we have yet to receive a resolution. We typically leave for work early and depend on receiving the paper at the scheduled time of 6am on weekdays and 7am on weekends. The current carrier has not been meeting these time frames consistently, causing frustration as loyal subscribers of over 30 years. We are disappointed with the lack of punctuality and reliability in the delivery service. We are hopeful that this matter can be addressed promptly to show respect to long-standing subscribers like us.

I'm seeking assistance from a local representative to contact me at [redacted] regarding the persistent issue of our newspaper delivery. We haven't received the paper today, and it regularly arrives late. Despite contacting the call center and receiving messages, our carrier has not reached out. This situation is particularly challenging as my elderly mother relies on the paper in the mornings. I've resorted to purchasing a newspaper from the store for $2.00. The proposed credit of $.0.35 or an extended subscription does not adequately address the problem. I kindly request a call from a U.S.-based representative to resolve this ongoing delivery issue promptly.

I am experiencing consistent delivery issues with the new delivery service for the Ramona Sentinel newspaper. Despite my attempts to reach out to the editor, Nikki Bridges, via phone and email, I have received minimal to no response. I have also spoken to Chris and now Paul from the delivery service, who have reassured me that the problem will be resolved. However, every Thursday morning, our address is intentionally skipped. We just want our newspaper delivered as it has been for over a decade. I contacted UT for assistance but was unable to get information on a customer relations person to speak with. Please advise, as the new editor, Ms. Bridges, has not taken any action to address the issue. Thank you.

I am dissatisfied with Tribune delivery service at [redacted] Costa Pacifica Way, Oceanside, [redacted]. Despite a 20 by 20 covered area for delivery, the papers are consistently left outside in the rain. The delivery person has been seen throwing papers from the vehicle, missing the covered area. There have been multiple attempts through calls and emails to address the issue, but no improvement. One of the subscribers is handicapped, making it more challenging for them to retrieve the paper. It is essential to either replace the delivery person or ensure delivery directly to the door. The residents are considering canceling their subscription if the problem persists. - James G. #[redacted]

On February 13, [redacted], I received a wet paper which was unreadable. Please send a replacement to [redacted] Calle Lagasca, Chula Vista [redacted]. The contractor consistently throws the paper on the wet part of the driveway near the lawn, making it unreadable. I request that the contractor toss the paper on the drier part of the driveway, away from the lawn. Additionally, there have been delays in delivery times. Kindly advise the contractor to deliver the paper promptly each day.

I have been a loyal customer for many years and am dissatisfied with my new newspaper carrier. For the past two days (Wednesday and Thursday), I did not receive my newspaper at all. Instead of delivering it to my front porch as usual, it was left at the bottom of my long driveway, which is challenging for me due to my disability. I kindly request a prompt resolution to this issue. Thank you.

I kindly request that the delivery be reinstated to my porch and that I receive my paper consistently each day. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I would like to share a concern I have about the recent paper delivery service. Over the past week and a half, I have noticed that the delivery person has not been placing the paper at my door, but rather leaving it several feet away in a common area. This poses a challenge for me as a senior with a fractured vertebrae who relies on crutches. I have been a loyal San Diego Union Tribune customer for 45 years, and I am disappointed with the current delivery arrangement. Having to go out to retrieve the paper while on crutches is inconvenient, especially since I prefer the physical copy over the digital version. I kindly request that the delivery person make more of an effort to bring the paper closer to my front door. Thank you for any assistance you can offer in resolving this matter. Regards, E. McKinney, residing at [redacted] E. Fox Run Way, San Diego, CA [redacted].

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent newspaper delivery service. The paper has not been delivered to my door for over a week now, and instead, it is left in inconvenient locations far from my house due to a new delivery person. As a senior recovering from a fractured vertebrae and relying on crutches, this change has made it difficult for me to obtain my newspaper easily. Despite being a loyal San Diego Union Tribune customer for 45 years, I prefer the physical copy over the digital version. I kindly request for the delivery person to make an effort to bring the paper closer to my front door, as it has been done in the past. Your assistance in addressing this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your understanding.

I have not received my hard copy of the Sunday paper for three weeks now. Yesterday, July 5, [redacted], was the 3rd Sunday without delivery. I called yesterday morning to request delivery, but even though the recording said it would arrive, it never did. When I called again in the afternoon, the recorder said there would be no delivery.
I received my monthly bill by email last week, indicating that my next month’s fee would be automatically deducted on July 7, [redacted], for my Sunday paper delivery and the remaining weekday papers via email.
I have been a subscriber for 19 months, and this sudden change is frustrating. I seek assistance to ensure the Sunday hard copy paper delivery I am paying for continues without further issues. I also question if a refund is due for the last 3 Sundays (June 21, 28, and July 6, [redacted]).
