I recently visited Safeway in Milton-Freewater on the 12th of this month. Upon returning home, I realized that they had forgotten to give me my lettuce and bell pepper. Despite residing far away from the store, I called to address the issue, but they insisted I come in person. When I returned, they only provided me with the missing items and did not offer to compensate for my gas. The following day, I discovered they had also neglected to include my steaks. Reaching out to them proved unhelpful as they were unwilling to rectify the situation. On another occasion, I encountered issues with the Coinstar machine and did not receive the correct amount back, yet the staff was uncooperative. I am very disappointed with the service at Safeway due to the lack of assistance and oversight by the managers and cashiers. The overall experience has been frustrating and I believe there should be a resolution to these recurring issues.

Order number [redacted] for J.B. at [redacted] West Iliff Drive #[redacted], Lakewood, CO, was delivered to the wrong address today. A photo of the unit where it was delivered shows black wrought iron furniture on the patio, which we do not have. The total order was approximately $[redacted].00, including a driver tip. I am very unhappy about this and have requested a refund for the items ordered. I will be taking my business elsewhere due to this issue. I am disappointed with Safeway's delivery service. I would like to report an issue regarding an employee named Erick Trejo at the Fremont Hub store location #[redacted] in Fremont. It has come to my attention that he may be working under false documentation, using the social security number #[redacted]-09-[redacted]. This employee was previously fired for misconduct but was rehired with the help of another undocumented worker who later updated their social security number after getting married to a citizen. I feel it is essential for the company to address this situation as HR seems unaware of this issue, potentially due to inadequate A-9 verification by the hiring manager. I believe appropriate actions should be taken, either by terminating the undocumented worker's employment or facing consequences as a company. It is crucial to ensure that proper legalities are followed in the workplace.

I visited your website to check the price of graduation cakes. However, when I went to the store to place my order, I was surprised that the price was higher. The bakery staff member mentioned that the online price might have been the rate for online orders, which was not indicated clearly. She was quite impolite when quoting the new price to me, leaving me feeling disappointed as I am a regular shopper at Safeway. I suggest that Safeway should ensure that online prices match in-store prices or make it known clearly on the website if there are any differences. It was truly disappointing to encounter such rudeness during my visit. This incident occurred at the Safeway store on Mesa Ridge Parkway in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

I previously reached out about the gas rewards program discrepancy in my area. Unfortunately, I never received a response. In my region, the gas rewards program with Chevron and Texaco is of little benefit. We lack Texaco stations and with only Chevron stations where rewards apply, their pricing is significantly higher than other brands like Sinclair, Shell, and Union 76. This situation renders the rewards essentially useless. I suggest considering partnerships with the other mentioned gas stations as they offer better pricing. Chevron's consistently elevated prices make the rewards impractical. I would appreciate it if someone could investigate this issue and provide a follow-up. Thank you. - Gerald M.

I had an issue at the store regarding a reward redemption for two cans of diced tomatoes with green chilies. The signage on the shelf indicated that both the 10 oz and 14.5 oz cans were eligible for the promotion. Despite selecting the 14.5 oz can with a matching UPC, the cashier mentioned the app coupon was for the 10 oz size. I tried to explain that the shelf signage allowed for the 14.5 oz can, but was unsuccessful. To support my claim, I removed both signs from the shelf. It was disappointing that the cashier did not honor the price as indicated on the shelf. Unfortunately, the manager was unavailable at that time.

I went to Safeway on 72nd and Portland Ave close to midnight and found out they were already closed. Their posted closing time is midnight, but they turned me away at 10 minutes before. I just needed some buns for the pricey salmon burgers I bought earlier. If they want to close at 11:30, they should update their hours accordingly and not make customers feel unwelcome before the listed closing time. It's frustrating to be told off by a security guard when you expect the store to be open based on their schedule.

I am writing to share an experience I had at your store located at [redacted] Baltimore National Pike, Baltimore, Maryland [redacted] on 08/31/23 around 1:32 PM. While at the self-checkout, I noticed an employee named 'Kim. F' standing very close to me as if she was reading a store flyer. Despite asking if she was watching me, she insisted she was not but stayed nearby until I finished my purchase. I spoke to an older black supervisor about the incident but didn't catch his name. As a long-time customer of over forty years, I felt it was disrespectful to be monitored in such a way. My family and I have been loyal patrons of this store before 'Kim' joined the staff. I hope this feedback helps improve customer experiences at your establishment.

I want to share an upsetting experience I had at the Safeway located at [redacted] Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle, WA. While dealing with a severe migraine in my truck in the parking lot, I was shocked to see a parking enforcement officer giving me a $65.50 ticket, which felt unfair as I was unaware of any parking regulations. I am deeply disappointed in the service at the Safeway pharmacy in Mill Valley on Redwood Highway. Despite being a loyal customer for nearly six years, the recent experiences have been unacceptable. The staff's rudeness, lack of responsiveness to phone calls, and excuses of being too busy are inexcusable. As a senior citizen with rheumatoid arthritis, I rely on my medications and cannot afford such negligence. Furthermore, the Safeway in Terra Linda has also failed me with delays in prescriptions and inadequate staffing. The behavior of a particular employee named Tommy was appalling, and the overall customer service and pricing issues have me considering taking my business elsewhere. Safeway's declining standards and inflated prices have left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I urgently seek a resolution and hope for better management of the pharmacies.

I am a new employee in Surprise, Chandler, Phoenix, Arizona, and have witnessed inhumane treatment of new hires. There is a lack of proper managerial support and appropriate training for new employees. The attitude seems to be "do it my way or the highway," which has resulted in 4-5 employees quitting. In Surprise, Arizona, it's generally known that if 2 employees quit, it's due to managerial issues. Daytime workers are not fulfilling their job duties, and the night crew is experiencing verbal abuse and being cursed at without any training opportunities. It is a chaotic situation, and I am seeking urgent assistance to address these ongoing challenges.
