We recently replaced the back glass on our [redacted] Toyota Sienna on May 31, [redacted], due to it being damaged by a rock. Despite minimal use as a backup vehicle, we later noticed a wet and unpleasant odor in the rear area. After multiple failed attempts to locate the source of the leak, it has now been suggested that the issue might be with the back glass. I would like to have this checked and inquire if it is covered under warranty. The work order number is 01[redacted]35, the service provider is Safelite located at [redacted] N Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone at the provided contact numbers. Thank you, Paul and Cindi Turner.

Subject: Windshield Crack Hello Safelite Care Team, I noticed a fine crack on my windshield this morning without any evidence of impact, leading me to believe it may be due to a defect from installation. I have a unique issue with my windshield and need to speak with a representative. I've struggled to find a way to connect with a live person on the website after spending over an hour navigating through it. The website does not seem equipped to handle specialized problems, and I am hesitant to create an account or pay just to ask a question. I suspect that the live chat feature may also be automated and require payment information to proceed. This is my final try to seek assistance. If I cannot find a resolution here, I may have to resort to visiting a store in person. If that's the case, I am disappointed in the level of service provided by Safelight.

I had a scheduled appointment today (11/9/23) from 8am to 12pm. The technician arrived at 11:50, inspected my vehicle, and informed me that they didn't have the necessary molding to replace the window. When asked for a solution, he mentioned contacting the home office to order it, leading to a delay of a few days. I expressed my displeasure at the prospect of waiting without a clear timeframe due to taking time off for the appointment. The technician mentioned that the molding was available in the warehouse but was unsure of the next steps. His indifference was disappointing, especially considering the molding should have been part of the original order. I find it unacceptable that after waiting at home, no immediate resolution or rescheduling options were offered.
