Dear Jaime Siminoff, I have an idea that I believe could greatly benefit Ring both financially and reputation-wise. Many crimes remain unsolved due to small businesses relying on poor quality security cameras. I propose that Ring donate or offer substantial discounts to these businesses and leverage this initiative as a way to promote and sell top-notch security systems to homeowners. I have thoroughly considered this plan and would like to discuss it further with the appropriate person. I am also open to potentially being involved in the financial aspect. Please reach out to me at [redacted] or [redacted]. Thank you for considering my suggestion. Sincerely, Michael Clark

We had a Ring doorbell at our previous home which we sold in May. I purchased a Ring Doorbell Pro for our current home but am having trouble setting it up because both of our emails are linked to existing accounts. The emails are [redacted] and [redacted] We moved for safety reasons due to a family member's involvement with drugs and risky individuals. Feeling unsafe, I installed the Ring Pro and am eager to get it working. I would appreciate assistance in setting this up today. The device isn't recording or allowing me to create a new account. We are experienced with this device from using it for over two years at our previous home. Please reach out to me as soon as possible for help. Thank you. Dr. Michael Hurley, Ph.D [redacted]

My doorbell captures my neighbor leaving her front door, walking to the mailboxes, but doesn't record her return journey. This inconsistency in recording both departure and return seems to happen frequently. I haven't altered any settings, and the battery and internet connection are stable. This situation is a test to assess the doorbell's reliability. I'm puzzled about what might be causing these irregular events as there are no other disruptions in the area.

I'm a new homeowner, and the screw on my Ring doorbell is stripped, so I can't reset it as it's still registered to the previous owner. I purchased a Ring screwdriver, but the corroded screw is causing the screwdriver to strip as well. I spoke to customer service for almost 45 minutes, and they offered to send a screwdriver with a MAC number, but I need to open the doorbell to get that number, which is impossible. This has been a frustrating experience as I'm stuck in a loop without being able to reset the doorbell.

I recently purchased and installed a new Ring doorbell in late March. It is wired in, but the battery discharges from a complete recharge in 4-6 days. I changed the settings to record less often, but the battery still doesn't stay charged any longer than a week. Moreover, I have a stick up camera inside my house, and it captures people entering my front door that the doorbell doesn't, even when fully charged. I am quite disappointed in the doorbell as it has failed to activate in time when people approach the door. Additionally, it misses capturing cars pulling in and out of my driveway despite having selected the appropriate motion zones. I am unsure if my doorbell is faulty. I would appreciate guidance on how to resolve these issues, or if necessary, replace the unit, offering to return the current one for diagnosis.

I recently installed a Ring Pro Chime and two Ring Battery Cams purchased from Best Buy, each with a protection plan. They were working well until I added a Netgear Orbi Mesh System from Amazon to enhance the signal. After a support session with a fake agent pretending to be from Netgear, my IDs and passwords, including those for the Ring devices, were compromised. They requested payment for a subscription, which I declined due to not owning a debit card. This has led to the need to reset the Ring devices to link with new IDs and passwords. I seek assistance with this matter. Apologies for the lengthy message, but I was advised to provide detailed information. Kindly reach out to me for further assistance. Thank you. - G.S.

Good morning, I had a delivery on Monday, November 11th, at 12:17, which was not captured by my Ring device. The driver mentioned ringing the doorbell and leaving a delivery note, but I did not receive them. Unfortunately, someone took the delivery from my porch without being recorded. I was informed by a representative that the issue might be related to my phone settings affecting the sensor's motion detection. Despite my wired doorbell picking up passing vehicles, it had trouble capturing the delivery or the theft. I would appreciate it if you could investigate why it failed to record these events accurately.

I recently installed a Ring Pro hardwired doorbell with the Pro power kit in my vacation home. Initially, it had trouble connecting to the Ring wifi group but eventually worked. However, later it lost connection despite being linked to a mechanical doorbell with a 16-volt transformer. I checked the doorbell chimed correctly before connecting it. The device is close to the router, the last Device Health report showed [redacted] voltage and RSSI-56 signal strength. After rebooting the router, I tested the wifi speed and got 392mbps download and 40mbps upload near the doorbell. Despite sufficient voltage from the transformer, the doorbell shows a flashing blue light. Even after trying a hard reset, the doorbell is still flashing blue and not showing the Ring wifi network on my phone's wifi list.

Dear Sirs, I recently purchased two Ring 2 doorbells from BJ'S three weeks ago, both including the chime. They are installed on doors higher than the recommended 5 feet, encountering issues picking up people. I believe using a wedge could resolve this. I have read that the wedge should be included in the purchase. Could you please advise me on how to obtain two kits? Thank you. Note: I bought the Ring 2 at BJ'S on Kings Highway in Maple Shade, NJ. My Ring doorbell has been experiencing issues for over six months now. I keep receiving a poor connection signal despite the doorbell being right outside the front glass door. The battery no longer holds a charge, draining from [redacted]% to 65% within an hour. I have tried holding the button for over 12 seconds as instructed in the videos to no avail. Please send a replacement to my address at [redacted] Willowlake Dr, Houston, TX [redacted]. My iPhone is currently out of order, so contact me at my home number. While I wait for TMobile to deliver a new phone, I am considering switching providers due to recent issues. I hope to receive a new Ring doorbell promptly, possibly with some compensation for the inconvenience caused. Please prioritize expedited shipping, as signature may not be possible upon delivery. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I am experiencing multiple issues with the video playback and sign-in process on the website. Whenever I attempt to log in, it keeps saying my details are incorrect. I am concerned because my son, traveling for business, may have also tried to log in. My email is [redacted] Unfortunately, I am not being prompted to reset my password, and this is causing me a lot of frustration. Can you please simplify the troubleshooting process? I am not tech-savvy and would appreciate assistance. I have a beautiful image in mind that I can't view without access. The holidays are busy, and I regret my son's purchase. His email is [redacted]

I recently bought and set up a Ring doorbell. After installing it, I downloaded the Ring app on my iPhone, created my account, and started setting up the device. Everything went smoothly until I reached the step where it asked to join my Wi-Fi network. Despite following the prompts to connect to Ring-b318ba, I keep getting an "unable to join" message. The solution proposed going to my settings and choosing the Ring network, but it's not showing up on the Wi-Fi list. How can I resolve this issue?

Hello Ring, I am a contractor based in Australia. I have encountered an issue with a couple of doorbell kits blowing fuses shortly after installation. The fuses that came with the power supply seem to be the problem. I had to bypass the fuse to get them working. The earlier kits I installed did not have fuses in them. Could there be a batch of incorrect fuses causing this issue? The units do not have a heavy load and the wiring is not complex, so it is puzzling why the fuses are blowing so quickly. Thank you for any insight you can provide on this matter.

I purchased the Alarm Security Kit 10 piece system under Order [redacted]. Initially, I mistakenly believed the motion detector was suitable for outdoor use, but I have realized I actually require the non-spotlight security camera. I am interested in exchanging my current order for the Security Camera. I do not need the indoor components, including the motion detector, window sensors, or door sensors. I plan to retain the keypad and home base. Could you please confirm if I can proceed with returning the items I do not need in exchange for the Security Camera? Thank you.

I purchased a refurbished Video Doorbell 2 from Woot on November 4th, [redacted]. It was working well until a few weeks ago when I started having issues with Live View not activating. Despite decent download and upload speeds, the problem persists. Today, after taking it off the wall, I noticed it recorded video but still had trouble with Live View. I briefly managed to get it to work but couldn't repeat it. I tried using an extender I bought recently, but it didn't make a significant difference. Any suggestions on how to resolve this problem or whether it's still under warranty coverage?

I recently purchased the Protection+ plan at 1PM central time on Wednesday, 2/5. Planning to add a second camera, I realized I don't need professional monitoring and prefer a second Protection Basic plan later. When attempting to cancel the Protection+ plan, it seems I would lose all plans, including the existing Protection Basic plan for my Doorbell Camera. The due date for my Protection Basic plan is today, Wed 2/5, so I want to avoid immediate charges of $[redacted] for the Protection+ plan and rather pay $30 for the Protection Basic plan today. I aim to retain the Protection Basic plan, cancel the Protection+ plan, and later purchase a second Protection Basic plan for the new camera. Trying to order the Protection Basic plan leads me directly to the Protection+ plan page. Thank you.

I have two Ring keypads - one in my family room and one in my living room. Lately, when I set the system to "Away" in the family room, I noticed the sound from the keypad was scratchy and weak. I had to use my iPhone to confirm the alarm was set correctly. I tried switching the keypads, and now the problematic one in the living room has very low or no sound at all. How can I fix this issue? Thank you.

The Ring Video Doorbell 2 alerted me to movement, showing a van parking on my driveway, the window rolling up, and then it stops. There was no recording of the driver or the van pulling away, until 9 minutes later when it picked up a cat walking by and the van was no longer there. I am puzzled as to why it missed the departure of the van and the driver. I have reviewed my settings and consulted with our IT technician at school, who also uses Ring products, and everything seems to be set up correctly. Thank you.

The motion detection on our Ring Video Doorbell 2 is not synchronizing with either of our mobile devices. The alerts come in 3 to 5 minutes late. Additionally, our personalized ring tones for notifications are not working correctly - mine (dogs barking) has disappeared, and my wife's (There is someone at your door) is not playing. Our Wi-Fi Hub is a mere 20 meters from the doorbell. I conducted a speed test on 21.02.20 at 14:00 in the UK, and the results were Download 42.78Mbps, Upload 26.88Mbps, Ping 14ms. Despite resetting the bell multiple times, the issues persist. I wonder if storm damage or a faulty product could be the cause, as we only purchased it at the end of last year (01.12.19). Some problems have resolved themselves over the past 2 months, but new ones keep arising. It's frustrating to have to continually remove the casing to reset and reconnect twice a week, especially for a disabled person like myself.

I was recently renewing my yearly contract on Ring for $30 for 3 devices, and decided to upgrade to the $[redacted] yearly plan as I wanted to add a water sensor and another camera. While I agreed to the $[redacted] charge, I was surprised that $7.50 was not refunded from the previous $90 payment. This unexpected deduction was not clearly indicated during the upgrade process. As a loyal customer who has recommended Ring to others, I find this $7.50 charge disappointing and unfair. Despite the small amount, it's a matter of principle for me. I believe in standing up for what is right. I kindly request a refund of the $7.50 so that I can continue to show my support for Ring and its products. Thank you, Cindy B.
