Hello,
I understand that it's a hectic time, leading to delays in addressing claims issues. One month ago, using the COVID pandemic app, I submitted a request for help regarding my missing weekly payments. Although I managed to certify via teleserve, I haven't received the last four payments since early July. Despite filing an inquiry and making several calls, I've been unable to reach the call center. Unfortunately, I haven't received any mail or email communication regarding this issue.
Here are some of my details:
- Claim Number: [redacted]8
- Name: G. Munroe
- Date of Birth: 2/25/82
- Last 4 of SSN: [redacted]
- BYE Code: 20
- Address: [redacted] Smithfield Rd, North Providence, RI [redacted]
- Email: [redacted]
- Phone: [redacted] or [redacted]
I would greatly appreciate assistance with this matter.

I have been receiving unemployment since March, but it suddenly stopped with the end of the $[redacted] payments. My account is on hold due to possible fraud. I contacted support online and received a call from a representative in Indiana who claimed to be from the unemployment agency. They promised to fix my account by August 14th and assured me that funds would be available within 48 hours. Unfortunately, none of this happened. Now, when I try to certify this week, I get an error message stating that some information provided is invalid. I'm in urgent need of assistance. Please help me resolve this issue.

I have been attempting to verify my identity for more than a month. I contacted the fraud specialist number but got transferred to customer service and disconnected twice. My name is Tyra Denise Hill Oshields, born on 03.10.[redacted] in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at Hillcrest Hospital to Yvonne Hill and Donald Oshields. I have three sisters: Ashlyne, Mycah, and Camryn. Sadly, Camryn passed away on 12.25.18 at the age of 18. Apart from Oklahoma, I have only traveled to Rhode Island and Kansas. My daughter's name is Mya. I have never financed a car or a house independently as I always paid in cash, following my father's advice. This lack of credit history is causing me issues now. Please reach out to me to verify any details and reinstate my claim. Thank you.

On approximately 4/30, I applied for unemployment benefits because my work hours were reduced. I requested partial payment at that time. I haven't contacted regarding my claim since around the week of 6/15 as I went back to working full time. I recently received an "Unemployment Insurance Benefit Instructions" letter dated 11/20/20. I'm confused why I got this since I'm currently employed full time and haven't applied for benefits since June. The only payment I received was a one-time payment in May. I would appreciate any guidance on this matter. Thank you.

I have been attempting to reach unemployment for weeks now. I have called at various times throughout the day, only to be informed that they are currently assisting other individuals before being disconnected. I was laid off at the end of October and promptly applied for unemployment benefits. Subsequently, I received an email indicating that there was a hold on my account due to suspected fraud and requesting me to verify my identity. I have complied with this requirement, yet I have not received any benefits. Given that I am unable to reach a representative over the phone and have completed all the necessary steps, I am at a loss for what my next course of action should be.

I recently got a very part-time job, impacting my claim with the Department of Labor and Training. It's clear that I should receive partial benefits. I have been trying to contact them for 2 weeks via voicemail and email but haven't received any response. I reapplied, but the confirmation # is still tied to my old claim which is invalid now. The DLT should correct this error promptly and ensure I receive my entitled benefits without delay. The current situation is frustrating.

Last week, while filing for my unemployment over the phone, I accidentally selected option 2 instead of 1. I've tried to rectify this error, but the system doesn't allow me to correct it. Consequently, I missed out on this week's unemployment benefits. Despite numerous attempts to reach someone by phone, the system's automated message informs me that all agents are busy and advises me to call back later.
Thank you.

I applied for partial unemployment in December [redacted] due to reduced hours. After receiving the initial confirmation email, I was told to expect a second email or mail within 7-10 days, none of which I have received yet. Unable to certify or resolve the issue, I have returned to full-time work but am owed for past weeks. Despite numerous calls and emails, I have not been able to reach anyone for help. The online message with my confirmation # states my application is being processed, but I have not received any further updates. I feel stuck waiting for a resolution as time passes without any progress. I sincerely hope to receive assistance soon. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - M.K.

In January, I fell victim to identity theft, and a fraudulent claim was made using my information. I reported the incident to the state police and have a copy of the report. Unfortunately, I have also recently lost my job. I filed for unemployment benefits and received an initial confirmation email instructing me to await further instructions. However, after a week passed without any follow-up, I used their online tool to check my status. Shockingly, I discovered that the active claim associated with my account is the fraudulent one. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to reach a representative after calling countless times daily for three weeks. Each call results in a message stating that the team is occupied and prompts me to try again later before disconnecting. I am relying on these benefits, but the lack of communication is making it impossible to rectify the situation and receive the support I am owed.

I struggled to reach the RI DLT over two days, facing a continuous "our team is currently helping other callers, please call back later" message. After a 2 1/2-hour hold, I finally spoke to a representative as I am new to collecting UI. I sought information on various topics like expiration, extensions, and how partial unemployment insurance operates. Sadly, the representative I spoke to was impolite and talked over me as I tried to ask my questions, making it frustrating to communicate effectively. Regrettably, I didn't catch her name during the call. Despite the unpleasant experience, my second call was more positive. Jason assisted me promptly, answered my inquiries about UI, and was exceptionally courteous and patient. I felt grateful for his help and made sure to thank him for his outstanding service. It's essential to highlight both negative and positive experiences, so I felt the need to share this feedback.

I am experiencing continuous issues with your website while trying to file my unemployment claim. Despite multiple attempts, I keep getting disconnected after completing the process. The site prompts me to check my connection, which is working fine. However, I am faced with a timeout message after only 60 seconds. The option to send an email provided no resolution as the link was not functional. Today is March 1st, and my last working day was on February 21. Currently, I have been on hold for over an hour via your call-in line, adding to my frustration. I would greatly appreciate a phone call instead of an email response. I have checked my internet connection, browser, and all possible avenues, but the issue persists. Unable to access the online option, I find it challenging to seek alternative employment. Thank you for your attention.
