The cost of the Friskie's Pate' 60-can pack has increased from $42.98 to $43.98, while the Shreds option remains at $42.98. As an animal rescuer with 40 years of experience, I rely on Walmart Distribution Centers for food every four months for my 19 rescue cats who need Purina Dry at $25.00 per bag. With the recent price hike, affording Purina has become challenging. Due to budget constraints, I may have to switch to Special Kitty at Walmart instead of Purina, despite the cats' preference for it. We regularly purchase Friskies pate cat food from the Walmart in Warrensburg, MO. Our recent 40-pack purchase turned into a nightmare. After feeding our cats, my spouse disposed of the empty cans with some liquid left in them. Days later, we found hundreds of gnats in the trash can and on the bowls. We decided to discard the remaining cans out of fear. The gnat infestation is now hard to manage, and we are disappointed. We no longer have the box or cans. Why is this issue not addressed at the production plant? We are unsure if we will buy this cat food pate again. J. Mandl

I have a couple of concerns to address. Firstly, I received a bag of cat food that appeared dehydrated with no moisture. Secondly, I bought a 38-pound container in a four-pack that seemed to be just powder at the bottom, which is not the usual fresh product. I ended up with two of these containers from the same store. I'm unsure how this could happen. Can someone assist me with this issue?

I purchased a variety pack of Friskies cat food from Tom Thumb. Everything seemed usual until I noticed one can contained a dark brown liquid, unlike the usual gravy texture my cats enjoy. Despite my cats' preference for gravy, they barely touched it and eventually vomited. This occurred with multiple cans from the pack, leading to all three of my cats becoming ill. It's concerning as my cats are typically healthy and never experience such issues. I suspect the food may have been contaminated, causing their illness simultaneously.

I have 19 cats that I take care of and feed regularly. Lately, the quality of the food I've been providing them has drastically declined, causing many of my cats to refuse eating it or vomit afterwards. I am frustrated with having to spend $30 multiple times a week on this food, only to end up cleaning it off the floor or throwing it away after it becomes infested with maggots. I believe it's unacceptable to sell such low-quality products and I would appreciate it if improvements could be made to the food or the company should consider leaving this business.

I bought the Friskies Ocean of Delights 40-can pack, advertised as including four different varieties with ten cans each. However, upon receiving my order, I found that I only received 6 cans each of Prime Fillets, Ocean Whitefish, and Tuna in sauce, and 14 cans of Tasty Treasures Prime Fillets with Ocean Fish and Tuna in sauce. The packaging did not specify the exact varieties included, contrary to the advertised contents. I am disappointed as I would have preferred to select the specific varieties individually, even if they were only slightly different in price.

I recently opened a can of your Friskies cat food and was shocked to find mold inside it, along with white chunks of mold growing. Even though it's not set to expire until October [redacted], the entire can was affected. After checking the rest of the wet cat food I purchased, every can in the box also had mold growing inside. This is concerning as it could have made my cats ill had I not noticed in time. I have pictures of the issue and would appreciate a prompt response regarding this matter.
