After 21 days with no phone service and several hours invested in resolution, I received a replacement phone. I replaced the sim card as instructed and transferred data. However, I am unable to activate the phone as no instructions were sent on how to program the new phone. I have no means to call Pure Talk for help. I managed to borrow phones over the last three weeks, but now I am in quarantine due to possible exposure to COVID-19, so that option has been eliminated. Please, help me!

Dear Pure Talk, I wanted to bring to your attention some recurring issues I've been experiencing. Lately, I have had trouble both making and receiving phone calls. Incoming calls go straight to voicemail without ringing, and my phone shows missed calls. Outgoing calls immediately end with an error message about an unexpected network response. Given the continuous problems, I am considering switching to another service provider. I have been a loyal customer for about a year and always make sure to pay my bills on time. Due to the ongoing disruptions, I request a refund for my latest payment. I hope this matter can be resolved promptly. Sincerely, A Anthony

I have encountered a long and frustrating process trying to repair my iPhone 11 Pro. I've sought help from Pure Talk, Apple, and various other sources, but the issue remains unresolved. Apple even sent me a new SIM card, believing it was the problem, yet the phone still doesn't function properly. I am unable to open articles or contact Pure Talk or Apple for assistance. I am unsure of what exactly is causing the malfunction, but I am considering purchasing a new iPhone due to the inconvenience of using my iPad as a substitute.

I contacted Pure Talk on April 11th and spoke with a representative for a significant amount of time. I ended up ordering two phones and three SIM cards, which I paid $[redacted] for outright. I was told that the phones and SIM cards would arrive soon. Unfortunately, the three SIM cards did not work with the phones or my account. After multiple calls and replacements, the issue persists. I was promised that new SIM cards would be sent, but they did not arrive as expected despite assurances. I now have two non-functioning SIM cards out of the three. Trying to reach a supervisor was challenging as there was only one available, causing extended wait times with no resolution. I am extremely frustrated as my friends who were waiting for phone service have been inconvenienced for over a month due to this ordeal. I am seeking a way to exit the plans and keep the phones for Mint Mobile if they are compatible. I urgently need the phones unlocked for Mint Mobile to activate and a refund for the frustration faced. Unfortunately, dealing with Pure Talk further seems unproductive as they are closed with limited assistance options. I am eager for a supervisor to contact me promptly. My name is Courtney Ansty and the account is under my name.

I am having trouble making calls and sending pictures from my phone. I have tried updating the APN settings multiple times without success. Each time I attempt to make a call, it says "Mobile Network Not Available." It is critical to resolve this promptly as I have missed job opportunities due to the lack of service. I am unable to contact Pure Talk about the issue because of the service problem.

I encountered difficulties activating my new service this afternoon. I contacted Customer Service for assistance. I believe my account has been activated. I spoke with a representative who requested my existing Verizon Acct # [redacted], and mentioned I obtained a reporting pin from Verizon ([redacted]) but haven't used it yet. I faced issues updating my APN settings and attempted to call Puretalk Tech Support at [redacted] from the provided card. Instead, I received a message from Verizon stating my mobile # is either invalid or inactive. Why was my Verizon service terminated before the transfer completed, leaving me without any phone service from either Verizon or Puretalk? I'm unable to seek help due to this issue.

I'm having trouble connecting my new Pixel 6A to 5G internet. Initially, it worked on 4G, but when it switched to 5G during an app transfer, the connection was lost. Now I'm only getting a weak signal with less than a quarter indication in the signal box. I have line of sight to two towers and two more towers at a different location. I attempted to reprogram the APN following the instructions from AT&T but was unable to save the new data. As a temporary fix, I switched back to 4G and input the data automatically from Pure Talk.

I am experiencing an issue with my phone where callers have to dial my number [redacted] twice to reach me. The first call does not come through, and it does not show as a missed call. Additionally, if a caller only rings once, my phone does not ring, and any voicemails left take hours to appear on my phone with the timestamp showing the time I actually receive them. This situation is problematic for me as I am in the process of setting up an online business. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to resolve this matter? -James Clark

Hello Jessie Kelly, I enjoy your show. I recently switched to Pure Talk and have been their customer for about two years. My phone needs replacing after 8 years of use, and my husband's outdated phone cannot even connect to Wi-Fi. We considered T-Mobile's offer of free phones, but as a former Marine, my husband prefers to stay with Pure Talk. After researching on the Pure Talk website, I selected two phones - a basic one for my husband and a more advanced one for myself. However, when I contacted Pure Talk, the prices quoted were double the ones listed on the website. I was told these prices were only for new customers. I expressed my disappointment and wondered if I could still get the advertised price since I had never purchased a phone from Pure Talk before. Unfortunately, I was denied. It's disappointing and feels unfair. I might be looking to switch providers soon. Take care, Lisa S.

I am facing a significant issue with Pure Talk! My husband purchased 2 phones from them on December 15, '22. I contacted Pure Talk around 10-12 days ago to explain that the phone was too large for my hands due to my age of 81 and arthritic hands. We did not receive a response, and now I have passed the return time frame without a penalty. My husband recently purchased another phone from Pure Talk, hopefully a smaller one, yet they refuse to accept the return of the new phone. This is very disappointing, as I thought I had found the perfect cell phone solution. It's challenging to reach anyone at Pure Talk. I am grateful for my patient husband, even though I am the one who initiated this situation. Hopefully, it will all work out in the end. - Carla

My hotspot that worked for years suddenly stopped working, so I reached out to PureTalk to request a replacement SIM card. Unfortunately, the new SIM card was sent to my old address, and I have yet to locate it. It's possible it was taken by a porch thief. I haven't received it and therefore cannot use it to fix my modem. I am grateful for your assistance, but I still need the replacement SIM card to ensure my modem starts working again. Thank you for your efforts in resolving this issue with the missing SIM card! ([redacted])

I am in urgent need of assistance! I recently signed up with Pure Talk, but Verizon canceled my service, leaving me with no phone coverage. Pure Talk sent me a new sim card, but it's too large for my phone. When I bought my phone from Verizon, I was told it was a smaller version of the iPhone 12, but Pure Talk sent me a sim card for the larger model. I urgently require a replacement sim card as I depend on my phone for various reasons. Being 73 years old and recently moved, I have no one nearby to assist me. There are no nearby Pure Talk stores for me to visit. I am unsure if Verizon misled me about the phone model, making it challenging for me to know which sim card size I need. Your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I am experiencing issues with my Sonim XP3800 phone on the PureTalk network. It is unable to make or receive phone calls, however, it can send and receive text messages. The top left corner of the phone screen only shows the "PureTalk" icon with a white dot instead of a signal strength indicator. I obtained a new SIM card from PureTalk to transfer my old number to this device, but the calling problem persists. Despite entering the correct APN settings multiple times, the phone still won't make or receive calls. Interestingly, I have another Sonim XP3800 on the same PureTalk plan without any connectivity issues.

Hello, I'm Brian Wilson. Yesterday, we experienced severe storms in Southern Indiana which have caused issues with my phone. I am unable to send texts or make calls. Whenever I try to make a call, I get an error stating "Your phone's not registered on a network, so you can only make emergency calls." When attempting to send a text, I receive a message saying, "Currently unable to send your message. It will be sent when the service becomes available." I'm seeking advice on how to resolve this situation.

I am disappointed in your advertising strategy. I signed up after hearing a commercial by a certain personality who mentioned that your company uses AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile towers. He continues to say this in recent commercials. Despite this, I found out that the coverage is poor. Even though I live near Verizon and T-Mobile towers, AT&T's signal is lacking. I have to stand near a window at home for reception and I get no service in my office in a city where others with Verizon have excellent coverage. It's frustrating that I switched from Verizon to Pure Talk and now face these challenges.

Phone service in my area (zip code [redacted] - O'Fallon, IL) is weak. During calls, people can't hear me and my voice breaks up. There are also dropped calls. I recently purchased a new iPhone SE Gen 3 with 5G, hoping it would fix the issue, but it hasn't. I don't have a landline, so it's crucial PureTalk service can connect to AT&T towers for proper phone functionality. I've been a customer for 30 months, and this problem only started this summer. Thank you, C. Johnson.
